  1. Its been a while since I was last in here..obviously a lot has changed with our beloved bills!!...But with my first post in quite awhile..I guess its a post full of optimism. 5-11 season, yes pretty dismal with the expectations we had coming into this past season. Yet another coaching change, but certainly well justified in my opinion... Marv Levy coming back to save this organization from the depths of despair! now you can look at this in 1 of 2 ways..Positively, meaning he's the best coach this team has ever had, he's brought us division titles and superbowl appearances, and is one of if not the most classiest guy in the league..and we're hoping he can channel that success on the field as a coach, the same as being a general manager... Negatively - No experience in a managment position, and its RW cheap option that the fans would except because he's marv levy....In my opinion I think we can't be quick to critisize until we see what kind of decisions he makes for the organization and for the team...Draft, free agency, HEAD COACHING VACANCY..Once we see what kind of job he does here, then we'll know what to expect in the future and if he's really cut out to manage.. The Draft - Since we finally rid of TD, its time to get back to drafting the needs of this football team, those needs being to sure up the lines! No more glamour picks, for the sake of picking the most talented person on the board..granted roscoe parrish is and will be very good for this team..he wasn't needed. I'd be happy with the best o- line or d-line kid on the board @ 8 Coaching - Tons and Tons of rumors and what not flying around, soo I won't go too deep into this..I'd like Mike Sherman in here plain and simply HE"S WON!! he's a proven reputable head coach who has a few division titles under his belt and he's seasoned...we're 0- 2 here with coordinators being our HC..Im not ready to see this team strike out with another one. And granted Dick Jauron is a great football guy and a great guy in general, other then that one fairy tale season in chicago , his record isn't all that great, which tells me he doesn't get the most out of his players if they can't rack up a few wins.. I think we have the right general manager in marv levy, and hopefully he brings us the right coach..and with both of them working together, Im thinking we can just maybe put a damn good team out on the field next year! thanks all, good to be back
  2. I have a feeling TC will go back to what was successful in the 2 wins at home..a nice dose of Willis..16 carries last week isn't nearly what he should be getting...hopefully that doubles against NE
  3. Its sad, its taking a page out of fantasy island, and well it damn near just doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense but...being a bills fan till the end its actually quite simple.. WIN!!!! darn it just win the game!! I don't care how you do it, who does it, or how long it takes just go into foxboro with the confindence everybody know's they have and win... You can't tell me, that its not in the back of London Fletchers mind, Nate Clements mind, Eric Moulds Mind, and everybody else that's been on this team since the blow out in kansas city a couple seasons ago, and the blow it in new england last season...We're horrible on sunday night football infront of a national audience, no question no doubt about it..Time for a change don't you think? hell I do !! and I Think they think that to.. The patriots are not the patriots of old , even though people make them out to be because they're playing us this sunday...they're 3-3 people!! they are a meteocre team up to this point..are they better then us?? absolutely!! does that make them unbeatable?? absolutely NOT..Everything seems to be in new englands favor for this game, teddy bruschi coming back, the bye week, blah blah blah...I refuse to sit here and believe that we should just pack it in because of a bad game in oakland..were we horrible?? darn right we were!! and what better a game to fix those mistakes then against the champs on sunday night? I plan on going into this game with plenty of optimism and hope...If the bills win sunday, heads will turn...and at least for a week the critics will be silenced...
  4. Well then, let's not rely on the sporting news for draft information on the bills eh? haha
  5. Ok, say the planets are alinged right, and it is a blue moon and we trade with Washington for their 9th, 25th or both or whatever and clements is gone...which would u rather do.. Used that First rd pick or picks and snag a corner or Bring Vincent back down to corner and let Rashad Baker/Izell Reese and Coy Wire fight for the other safety spot in Training camp next to milloy..and use the pick to help our O or D Lines... thoughts?
  6. Philly is your safe option, due to the fact they have tons of draft picks..but this is something that's going to go down to draft day obviously..and I wouldn't be surprised if this trade went down and to somebody we never would have thought of..or this trade doesn't go down at all..That's just TD's speed..The D in Donahoe stands for " Draft Day Drama "
  7. Not the best back in the league, but will give ya 100% when he steps on the field..pretty durable most of the time..2 consecutive 1300 seasons..Plays with pain..has had some fumbling problems. Not very fast, but strong as hell..def cracks top 15 in the league..he should stick to running though, when it comes to pass blocking, picking up the blitz or recieving he wasn't known for those attributes..but that's what you have Brian Westbrook for right?
  8. I think TD believes that euhus and campbell will be back 100% by training camp, and we resigned Neufeld..I don't think TE is a big priority this offeseason for TD
  9. Can't run or scramble, predictable, bad decisions under pressure..yea I can see that.
  10. Soo now, Rueben Droughns, Lee Suggs, and William Green?? does this look like the end of Green in cleveland?
  11. Nice to see Mort giving props to a bill for a change..its the truth though..Losman would have been the first qb taken without a doubt..def has more talent then both alex smith and aaron rogers..question being what if Matt Leinhart came out?? would losman go ahead of him??
  12. He was a sufficient enough backup for us last year....how much could he possibly be commanding contract wise?? I can't see the aquistion of Mike Gandy and a possible trade for L.J Shelton being the only moves we make to the offensive line ( not including the draft ) he's apparently still out there...Why isn't TD re-signing this guy? thoughts?
  13. I agree..Losman, Evans, and Mcgahee are def the future in this offense..better to get them acclamated to it now because its only going to benefit this team..
  14. Its def a mixed bag, everything cancels each other out EXCEPT for the big one..NO PLAYOFFS. the road is not over for TD yet, he was very close last year..But close doesn't cut it..I believe that the MM coaching change was a good one..Drafting Mcgahee was pure geneous, and digging this team out of salary cap hell was good as well..But when push comes to shove, its all about championships, and you need to get into the playoffs to even say the word championship..and TD has yet to lead us there yet.
  15. With Jason Peters, and Justin Bannan both on the o-line at some points last year..do you think mcnally was experimenting for this season? Plus with Mcfarland from last year and Gandy our pick up this year..and the draft coming..I think its safe to say that MM and TD have plenty of faith in Jim Mcnally to fix this o-line problem in house.. Thoughts?
  16. Its definetly a remote possibility..but with TD and his mindset on draft day..who know's he gives us little to NO leeway whatsover soo its hard to speculate on what he's going to do..
  17. Simply put..if the price was right, I say go for it..I don't see it happening though
  18. I don't mean this as Losman the player, but as Losman as a rookie QB and Free agents might be turned off because they'd prefer to win now and not to come into a situation where they'd have to rely on a rookie qb? Personally I don't see the big deal, you come to a team because you wanna play and get paid reguardless on who the qb is..but do you think its a possibility, that its playing a role in they're decisions on what teams to go to? or is it all about the money? Thoughts?
  19. thanks a lot, I plan on getting season tix this year..just wondering if I should just get them outright at the ticket office..or try out this select a seat and see what it has to offer
  20. at this point, i'd be happy with a 3rd or high 4th for TH..but for what he's commanding contract wise, it wouldn't surprise if he was unhappily in a bills uniform come next season..
  21. Soo we have Losman as our projected starter..Holcomb as our solid backup..who's our number 3?? Matthews stay out of retirement to be our number 3?? do we draft a Stephon Lefors? or Jason White? or will be go back into the depths of free agency?? any thoughts??
  22. Just wondering, if the bills will be having there annual select a seat for new or renewing season ticket holders..does anybody have info??
  23. Personally I think the Raiders overrpaid for Lamont Jordan..even though he was in the shadow of Curtis Martin, I really don't see him any better then a backup running back..he had one good game..and that was against miami on monday night..where both martin and jordan ran for over a buck 50 on a depleted miami d
