  1. If JP plays next year, we don't go better than 9-7.
  2. I never said that QBs from smaller D1 schools aren't good. They just take longer to develop.
  3. AMEN. I was screaming for them to throw downfield and being at the game I noticed their safeties were cheating up all game. The opportunities were there, the playcalling and QB weren't.
  4. Thanks for the post. If it was a penalty then Josh should take the heat for this outcome. That play cause the downfall of the 2004 season. However, I still maintain, the NFL officials need to let the men play. They shouldn't call penalties that don't affect the play.
  5. Pennington took years to develope. Vick was heads and shoulders above everyone else in college. We can only hope JP turns into Carr, but Carr is still a year or two from being a premier QB. Yes, where you play in college means A LOT 90% of the time. If you don't watch college football you wouldn't understand.
  6. No I haven't done any of those things you mentioned, I just have a brain. All those QBs you mentioned except for maybe Favre were UNBELIEVEABLE in college. I saw Big Ben play at Miami (OH) and I said from that day that he could be an NFL starter right at that very moment. Same with Culpepper, the guy was head and shoulders about EVERYONE else. I can't remember seeing Favre in college. JP was great at Tulane but he was not the second coming like the other guys were.
  7. Am I Wrong Here? Did you guys that watched it on TV see something else. Maybe I just totally blinded myself, but I feel like that call cost us the game and therefor the playoffs.
  8. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he will never develop. I'm saying he's too raw to the professional game, and he won't develop by next season. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt I am. JP is not ready and going with him would be a huge mistake. Our team is too good to have JP lead the offense next season.
  9. Trade Henry for a 3rd or 4th and draft Nugent from Ohio State. Kid would be the best kicker in the NFL today.
  10. Neither ... JP is raw. He will take years to develope.
  11. JP will take years to groom into an NFL QB. It's not like the kid came from the "U" or Tennessee or Auburn where they breed NFLers. He played for Tulane. This kid isn't the Bills answer in the near future. All this talk about him being the man for next year is crazy. He's too underdeveloped. Chances are he may never groom into his expected potential. It's a big chance we took in drafting him. That being said, the Bills need someone else at the helm next year. Drew can't lead this team, however, with whatever else is out there, he might be our best bet. Dare I say: Doug Flutie? Haha ... jk!
  12. Kurt Warner -- with protection -- would be SOOOO much better for Buffalo. Drew's reluctance to throw the big pass kills him, as does his nerves. The guy can't play in big games. Personally, I go after Brees if SD can't resign him.
  13. Just got back from the game, I can't tell you how crazy it was when we took the lead and they show the Jets were losing. The place was a madhouse. With the Bills streaking, they get called for an offensive pass interference call which is no doubt the single reason we lost this game. I don't know what the rule is or who did what, but there was NOT ONE STEELER within 10 yards of our fullback who caught the pass. It was a dump off pass as well. I just can't understand how you can call that. Yes, we should have beaten their second stringers, yes Lindell should have made that field goal, but none of that would have mattered because we would have scored from the 4 yard line and made it 24-16 and had all the momentum. We'd be talking about Indy right now. A big F-U to the officials. They need to do what NHL officials do in and near the playoffs, put the damn flags away and let the men play. Next season is just to far away.
  14. NHL.com and NHLPA.com aren't working as well.
  15. If the Bills make the playoffs, I see them going to San Diego as the 5th Seed and here's why: If the Jets lose in St. Louis: Indy will definitely play their asses off and beat the Broncos because doing so would have them avoiding the Bills in the first round. If the Jets win in St. Louis: I think Indy mails it in and we are out. If we are to go to San Diego, I very confident Buffalo would win moving us up against the Steelers which honestly I don't fear that much. I think we can beat them because their running game makes that team. But Bettis can run all over Sam and Pat. Big Ben would be forced to throw more and being a rookie, he will crack. If we can pull that off it's off to Indy or NE for the AFC Championship. That would be GREAT! I know I'm dreaming right now, but I think we got a great shot if we get in!
  16. He seems like a "typical" blue collar Buffalonian.
  17. Bottomline, if Nugent played in the NFL two years ago when he was a Soph in college, he would have been in the top five kickers in the league. Next season, he will be the #1 kicker. The guy is as close to automatic as they come ... and from all distances.
  18. Every game we've gone to this season, including five at home and the one in Cincinnati, the Bills have won. Now our regular source for tickets is out. Anyone have any they are selling or know of any place you can get them at a decent price? Thanks.
  19. I don't care if the an all hall-of-fame team is coming into town this weekend. Buffalo is so hot they can beat anyone, especially the best record team in the NFL that has little to play for. Bills will win, no doubt about it, its the other games that we should be worried about.'
  20. My last hair cut was the day after the Patriots game. Needless to say, I wont cut it until the Bills are done for the year, and my hair grows like a weed.
  21. I'm surprise he didn't drop us more and for good reason. He most likely thought that the aura of 49ers football contaminated the Bills sidelines. And that's some nasty stuff.
  22. Jungle karma is good, but Cowbell karma is the best!
  23. Jungle karma is good, but Cowbell karma is the best!
  24. More Cowbell is huge. If the Rams do beat the Jets and we beat the Steelers, look for the Colts to lay it into the Broncos. Indy does not want to play us, if the Jets lose and we win, Indy can avoid us by beating Denver, setting us up for a SD match-up witch I'm sure we'd all prefer. That is the best case scenario, however, I still feel our chances at playoffs are still 50/50. Lets hope the coin flips our way.
  25. Image this: You're at Ralph Wilson Stadium with snow everywhere. Buffalo is holding onto to a decent lead in the fourth quarter against the Steelers. Then John Gurtler comes on the PA between a routine play and updates the out of town scoreboard ... "Rams 24, Jets 14" I can't think of one place I'd rather be this coming Sunday. Hopefully, the Jets will blow it in St. Louis and the Ralph can erupt like never before.
