Not only did he get his left foot in when he dragged it, if you look closely, when he first caught the ball, his left foot was still on the ground, then his right came down and then his left foot dragged. That's three feet in, all you need is two! We need two win two out of the next three to stay in the hunt.

I can't get enough of the women on this show ... I mean I can't get enough of this show. It is by far the best show on TV now. Fun, witty, and the hottest chicks. Denny Krane "Just to show you I'm not taking this personally, I'm going to sleep with your wife." -- Denny Krane to the judge presiding over his case.

Watched it last night with my girlfriend. What a scumbag Michael Moore is. He pretty much flat out lied about everything. The sick bastard took an interview of a guy who lost his arms in Iraq. In the interview the guy was asked what it feels like not to have his limbs anymore and he went on saying how awful it was and the pain he goes through. Moore cut the footage up to make it seem like he was speaking about the war and the President. That vet was pretty damn pissed, and he wasn't alone. Moore manipulated many people and many interviews. Not to mention his theories were all put to shame. Another interesting subject in the movie was the lack of leadership that came from the Great President Clinton. His own staffers are in this movie talking about how he had the chance to get UBL and alqaeda. I cannot believe that man won awards for something that was so full of stevestojan. What is the integrity in putting out movies like this. Anyways, if your liberal friends bring up the blood for oil thing, watch this movie and you can put them to shame.

What Military Division Should I Join?
ubhockey replied to ubhockey's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Fort Bragg is where my best friend has spent A LOT of time in the past three years. I love the guy to death. Whenever we go out and the ladies ask what he does for a living... "Lady, I jump out of planes and kill people for your safety." It never gets old. -
What Military Division Should I Join?
ubhockey replied to ubhockey's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Exactly what attitude are you speaking about? I'm being sarcastic about the libs threat of a draft. And I was wondering what divisions of the military people like? -
Since the draft will undeniably be held within the next few months with President Bush being re-elected, I was wondering which division of the military I should look to join. I've been watching Band of Brothers on DVD lately. I'm thinking the 101st Airborne or the 82nd Airborne. I got some friends in the 82nd, so I might be leaning there. What about you guys, what are your favorites?

Let's take a look at the counties in NY that voted for Kerry and for Bush. So what you are implying is that the inner city folk are smarter than those who live in the suburbs who almost all voted for President Bush? That table means stevestojan because it doesn't show the IQ of people who voted for Bush and the IQ of people who voted for Kerry. If it did, I guarentee you Bush people win out. I was one point off from being in mensa, but you're probably right, all the pizza delivery guys in the ghetto that voted for Kerry are smarter than me. Fa real!

I found out where all the libs from PPP are
ubhockey replied to ASCI's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The best exerpt from that article is... "But recent statistics show a gradual decline in U.S. citizens coming to work in Canada, which has a creaking publicly funded healthcare system and relatively high levels of personal taxation." That was Kerry's plan, wasn't it? -
Answers: More jobs have been created through small businesses than jobs lost in the last four years. Plus, factor in 9/11 and Bush is doing VERY well with jobs. Economy is on the up. It will continue to grow and most experts predict it is President Bush's stable and consistant leadership that is helping it expand. National debt is up because we were cutting corners when it came to protecting our country. The War on Terror is a neccessity. But the debt will fall. Oil and gas prices are not Bush's fault. 1000+ dead soldiers -- tragic as it may be -- is a lot better than 3000+ innocent cilivians. Osama will be captured, but he isn't a threat living the rest of his life from some cave in some third world country. He can't even come out for air without being spotted. And again, the economy is expanding and going well. I think the question should be, why vote for Kerry? And don't say because Bush did this, or Bush did that... What was Kerry gonna do?

Where is all of Hollywood? At home ... with their mouths shut! I don't care what people -- who I was more educated then when I finished my sophomore year of high school -- have to say about polictics. Do your movies, make your millions. I for one will not support many of this celiberals.

Worst/Best Moment of Election Day
ubhockey replied to MichFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
BEST MOMENT 1: When President Bush claims victory! BEST MOMENT 2: Flordia going VERY early to Bush! GOOD MOMENTS: Susan Estrich, Dan Rather and Larry King losing their minds thinking that John Kerry can still win when it is all but virutally impossible. I loved seeing them trying to conger up ways Kerry can still win even though they knew it was impossible. WORST MOMENT: New York State going to Kerry, but that's no surprise. -
Beautifully said! This is not only a victory for America, its a victory for our troops and a victory to our resolve.
-
I'm sure all the absentee ballots and the provionsual ballots will be for Kerry which is what he now needs to even off the state. And then Kerry will ride the military vote to victory, right? Are you kidding me already, I wanna celebrate. Jonathan ... please do the right thing and concede the election!

Although the news stations won't call this yet, I am calling New Mexico, Nevada and Iowa for George W. Bush. Wisconsin is a toss up. If W wins there then Kerry has no shot.
-
At this very moment Bush is winning Ohio by 126,345 votes. 11050 of 11477 Precincts Reported. Cuyahoga - 1425 of 1437 Precincts Reported. Hamilton - 763 of 1018 Precincts Reporting. There is NO WAY Kerry can pass Bush. Hamilton votes Republican. 12 democratic precincts in Cuyahoga isn't enough! My guess is Bush will win Ohio by 140-180,000 votes. Kerry needs to do what's in the best interest of the country and conceed. He has no shot. Four More Years!
-
500 of the 800 precients left in Ohio are Hamiliton country precients. My guess is Bush wins Ohio by 140,000 to 180,000.
-
He already did! He saved us from sure disaster!
-
He won't, Hamilton county is left for counting. My gf works for a company headquartered in Cincinnati, it is VERY VERY VERY republican.
-
Oh how relieved I am! Four more years baby, controlling the house, controlling the senate, this country is finally moving away from the extreme left and thank God! Too bad WNY is still slow to the curve, but oh well! I can sleep well tonight knowing W will be around for four more years! Thank you residence of Florida and Ohio. Watch out ... Iowa, Wiscounsin, and New Mexico may also swing for W! Obviously Kerry and his supporters will protest Ohio, but most of the remaining votes are from Cincinnati. My gf works for Cincinnati Insurance, its VERY Republican.

I thought that once, but I learned that people are easily swayed by polls. If people start seeing a rise to one party or another, that gives that party a chance in future elections. If we steal 5-10 points from Kerry and the Dems this election, that helps our cause in future elections. If we don't vote, people will automatically assume that Repubs won't ever have a chance in the next election. And those five points would definitely help, because if Rudy runs for President in 2008, he'll take half of NYC. Then, maybe, we can go from a blue state to a red state.
-
Forgot to mention, that after the six years, if the incumbent wins his next term is only four more years for a total of 10. 12 years is too many, 10 ain't that bad.
-
I know that this is a topic for another day, but I've always thought that four years was not enough for one man to change the country. For instance, the effect of George W. Bush will not be known for at least two more years. Plus, you figure the Prez spends his first year getting accustomed to the job and the final year campaigning, that's only about two years to make changes. I definitely think Presidents deserve more than four years.

Could someone please explain to me why I should
ubhockey replied to Pete's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You would be wasting your time ... you'd probably have to think all day of a reason for someone to vote for Kerry. -
I couldn't find a better way to explain why I am voting the way I am... Election determines fate of nation by Mathew Manweller, political science professor Central Washington University In that this will be my last column before the presidential election, there will be no sarcasm, no attempts at witty repartee. The topic is too serious, and the stakes are too high. This November we will vote in the only election during our lifetime that will truly matter. Because America is at a once-in-a-generation crossroads, more than an election hangs in the balance. Down one path lies retreat, abdication and a reign of ambivalence. Down the other lies a nation that is aware of its past and accepts the daunting obligation its future demands. If we choose poorly, the consequences will echo through the next 50 years of history. If we, in a spasm of frustration, turn out the current occupant of the White House, the message to the world and ourselves will be two-fold. copyright violation - Please post link

If Kerry is our only chance, then we have no chance. He is HARDLINE left. He will not budge on his liberal ways.
