  1. I'd have to take OT Max-Jean Giles from Georgia as it looks like Jennings is gone althugh I like CB Jimmy Williams for VTU. Big physical CB who could either give us a big, physical CB or FS if Vincent proves to be too brittle.
  2. PK Rian Lindell FS Izell Reese DT Justin Bannan OL Mike Pucillo QB Drew Bledsoe TE Ryan Neufeld
  3. If he doesn't restrucutre we must draft his replacement in this year's draft even if it costs us next year's 1st rounder and TH.
  4. This is complete crap. This summary was based upon his worst season (His last) when his OL (And team) was horrible. He is a player and is no Drew.
  5. Players - Drew Bledsoe - Restructure or move on. Eric Moulds - Restructure or publicly explain why you are more important than winning a ring. Rian Lindell - First player cut. Pat Williams - Must sign a cap friendly deal but we've got draft/sign his replacement. Jeff Posey - Has been a non-factor since his arrival. We need more production form his position (Draft or FA). Travis Henry - Should bring a 3rd. Nate Clements - Sign him to long-term deal. Positions - DE - I don't care what anyone says, Aaron Schoebel is not the best we can do at RDE. He's a pass rushing specialist at best. Kelsay looks like a star. TE - Campabell should be providing depth to whomeverwe bring in to upgrade this position. LT - I believe Jennings is gone but I'd transition him so we at least get a pick or option to match. LG - This must be addressed through FA by signing a QUALITY player. C - We should draft Teague's replacement in this draft. FS - I'm happy with Vincent even at the price but goodbye Reese, hello draft pick. CB - I'm a big fan of McGee but we need a big, physical CB like Clements even if we must trade up into the 1st round if a blue-chip CB is there. For me my priorities in the draft are : Tier A - TE, CB, WR Tier B - DE, DT, LB, FS, OL, RB In free agency we should target OL and QB depth. ==== I think I've realized that this season was in fact a rebuilding year and we almost went 10-6 and could've went 11-5. In just two seasons we've (Hopefully) got our franchise QB and (certainly) our franchise WR and RB. We are so very close to being the team to beat in the AFC and I think this offseason is more important than any since TD came to town.
  6. Let's be honest here this season was one for the ages and I'd say it was a miracle considering our defficiency at the QB position. We almost overcame his limitations but it is clear we've got bring in someone else. I truly hope he retires so we do not have to cut him or keep him on the roster with his salary as a back-up. Again, I've never enjoyed nor suffered through a season quite like this one. Cheers guys. Let's get ready for the draft!
  7. The Rams took 7 seconds to score after a Jets punt. Anything can happen and even though it's slim to none we still have a chance!!!
  8. No team has ever started 0-4 and made the playoffs either. Ask the Yankees about the word "never".
  9. I think we will most likely play SD in the first round and they've never played against a D as swarming and as dominant as ours. I think we match up very well with PIT as well as NE now that we are clicking on all 12 cylinders. After winning 8 in a row I think we demolish Indy on turf with a speed vs speed contest and our D keeping the game close (56-53 at the half -- kidding). Seriously, I truly believe if we get in we go all the way. This time the NFC is a much weaker division than the AFC. We very well could be looking at a ring................if we can just get in!!
  10. I'll have to check but i'm pretty sure we can post about anything we want regardless of what you think about it. Unless of course God quit today and you're keeping the seat warm until we find someone who doesn't long to be "the topic police".
  11. I actually thought at the time he traded up to get Losman because we would not be in a good position (draft-wise) to get a franchise QB in subsequent drafts. Rodgers and Leinart should go 1-2, after that the talent drops considerably. I think it was genius to rebuild/retool our offense in just two drafts (RB, WR and QB).
  12. I bought the Magnum wagon and love it as well although my wife bought a new Mustang for her XMas present and I have to say I wouldn't trade my wagon for her GT even though we had a blast in it this weekend in the mountains. Did you get leather?
  13. 1. We will most likely have to defeat a Tommy Maddux-led Steeler team at home. 2. St. Louis has something to play for versus the Jets. 3. A very poor Denver team must defeat Indianapolis which should be led by Manning...for at least the start of the game. There are other things but these three jump out to me. Still can't believe we are this close to getting in.
  14. By Adding Ben you don't just swap him for Evans. You also get to subtract Drew's salary thereby adding two possible three solid free-agents. So essentially you add four players, not two, to the active roster. I'd take Ben and : Marcus Tubbs DT Texas (Future pro-bowler) Ahmad Carroll DB Arkansas (Solid CB) Chris Gamble DB Ohio State (Bright future) Michael Jenkins WR Ohio State (Would do better with a REAL no.1 WR) Rashaun Woods WR Oklahoma State (Terrible QBs, lower stats than expected) As much as I love Lee Evans, Big Ben is going to be a great not good QB and I'd love to dump Drew and add two/three top FAs for his salary. By adding Marcus Tubbs we could also jettison Sam Adams as he's made from the same mold.
  15. This should be essentially a fourth straight playoff victory and if we win the Super Bowl I may spontaneous combust. Seriously, I think I've aged 5 years the past month and a half.
  16. If and when we get in to the playoffs we are going to be quite a handfull to say the least. Does anyone know if we came away from the game healthy? I was also wondering what people thought about playing Matthews over Losman during gargage time? I thought it was a great move since he hasn't seen much action.
  17. Agreed but there is no way INDY sits their offensive starters when that offense depends on timing to be successful. They'll play and get out to a big lead and win that game.
  18. Indy has an offense that depends on rythm and timing for success. They will keep their starters in until the pull away from Denver. In other words, we are in the playoffs because we will win and they will lose.
  19. Help? Indy beating Denver? We're in if we win and I am confident we will.
