Rivera, Mayberry, and Wahle all visiting
JP-era replied to JP-era's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Deep snapper Kendall Gammon should be heading to Buffalo to meet with the Bills within the next few days. Damn, now thats a coveted FA! -
Wahle on his way to a contract Mayberry headed to the Saints Rivera headed to the Cowboys. Andruzzi already gone Am I missing something? I thought we "werent good enough on O", I thought we are starting a young QB. So, Bennie Anderson and Cosey Coleman are all thats left at the top.
-
Huhhh? Shelton is a capable LT, Ill go out on a limb and go along with that one. Wahle = Tucker? Maybe on Jupiter where the gravity is so huge neither could move. I hope thats not what you meant, tell me your not saying Wahle is Tucker.

Anyone know if our cap room includes the rookies?
JP-era replied to krazykat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, but with no 1st rounder we should expect to pay say, 2-3 mill. Dont foget our cuts arent over. Henry goes and we save 1.25 mill, Prioeleau is another few mill. That pays for the draft, so its a wash. -
Bargains available in free agency

Sorry, I dont agree. o-line is the single greatest position that can make or break Losman in the next year. We have NO starting LT which is the most important of all of those positions, and you want to go the cheap route? To me thats a sure fire way to rattle Losman which will make him make mistakes and cost us games. I think we can get into the playoffs next year with very good upgrades, your route sets us way back and most likely into the losing column next year., IMO. -
Im seriously not unhappy yet. I havent seen a single guy that I wanted go. Shelton (not my favorite but many other peoples)- available Wahle-available Womack-available McKenzie-available Jurevicious-av Coleman-av Riley-av Hovan-av Howard-av Lucas-av Burress-av Kevin Johnson-av

I went with the thumb. That is NOT the same as the finger! Thats said, my choice was working hard to make a HUGE trade. But that wasnt a choice.

UGGG, I guess you cant keep the best from trying to get better. Peter Brady needs a big fat FU for not asking for what he deserves as far as pay which will choke hold the Patsy's from doing this kind of crap. Peter has NO confidence, its the only thing that could explain not requesting to be paid like a top 5 QB. He must know that Peter Brady without the Pats equals Jeff Garcia. Ohh well, we still will make our moves. They best be good, our road to the SB goes through NE not around them!

Jags sign Heyward. Finally a big name!
JP-era replied to JP-era's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I havent seen that about John. Woodson yes, but not John. You can argue Howard being the best, you very well could be right. -
I will continue to worship, thanks. That much money for that guy was a waste. Why am I picturing TD saying to you, "When you can take the cash from my hand, then you will be ready."

Bargain should be looked at AFTER our bigtime upgrades at LT, LG, and TE are filled. Then fine, IMO. -
Pass on both if Wahle is still out there. If not, deal is on.
-
I wanted him back but not for that much. 4-5 mill per? A bit much for him, IMO.
-
He was the premiere DE out there. Finally, the top guy at at least one position has been signed.
-
Now if it was Burress Law Bell Lucas Wahle Franks that would be something! If the notion is that teams go crazy and overspend on day one, this doesnt seem to prove that out at all. Most of these guys are second tier minus Mason and Burress is the premiere WR, IMO. Seems every team may have caught on to TD's methodology and avoided the big rush. TD ought to get back to signing guys on day one.

What was the point of releasing Bledsoe and..
JP-era replied to Rudyc80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe kidding, but its uncalled for and really not that funny. Stick to stand up, and leave the football talk for the football fans on a football board. -
Clump, some comments on Bills Cap Page.

Well glad you didnt say it.... This is a touch like saying you can do your coworkers tax return. Good luck with that. -
Clump, some comments on Bills Cap Page.
JP-era replied to FTW_BillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good, so you apparently want to follow cap numbers that are traditionally under where we really are, and FA prices that are often over what they actually get signed for. No problem, unless you try to claim that we cant get ____ because of cap cash. Then your incorrect numbesr go out the window with your arguement backed by NO data. You like em, fine. Ill trust in TD, he never ceases to suprise and Clump aint the GM of the Bills! -
That contract suprises you? havent many people here been saying that 2-3 mill per is all you need to lock up a top notch G? I know I have.
-
How can we complain about Mike and Nate
JP-era replied to JP-era's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is no complaint that we havent spent money, the comment is about complaining about those contracts as if it were prohibiting us from doing something. That, so far, is not true. Lets wait. -
When we havent spent a single damn dime yet? If we get to the point that a guy wed love to land cant be had because of our cap situation, then complain. Till then, we are sitting on our money while others are spending theirs!!!
-
No, I love yours!!! Wearing only (you know what), holding your.........well....... I only wish we could get secret, personal avatars sent to us

So is Joe Burns. Maybe Ari will take HIM instead of Henry for Shelton, to many they are worth about as much.

What was the point of releasing Bledsoe and..
JP-era replied to Rudyc80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Point of releasing Bledsoe- He didnt want to be a backup to anyone, ever (his words). We picked Losman as our starter, you do the math. Point of restructuring Moulds- He isnt remotely worth 8.5 mill next year at his age and with Evans on this squad. This move added cap cash. Point is, we may LIKE to think these moves were meant to get cash to add a huge stud. They may not be that at all. They may be moves that made big business sense and thats it. We could end up signing cheap guys and have all this cash to start the season. Do I think we should do that, HELL NO!!!!! Especially when our most important o-line position is empty and we are starting a young QB. It could happen. Do I think we go that route, not in a million years. I think TD will spend cahs on upgrades. He isnt stupid, and you dont call out your O and then downgrade at each position. Thats shooting yourself in the foot. -
Im sticking to my guns. Wahle is the BEST G for the Bills bar none!!!!! He is a proven stud at LG not R, no side switch needed (cant be said for other G's). He is reported as a candidate for the T spot, hes 26 or 7 (cant remember). This move gives us versatility G vs. T, and at G instantly adds a HUGE upgrade to Losmans blindside. I have faith in TD, get er done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
