  1. some of your simple "research" would show that I did not start jack squat other than a football thought on the football board. I thought we were all trying to raise our game a bit and observe a little more civility. Apparnetly not, apparently this is simply a sounding board for babies who's mommys didnt feed them or who had a hard day at work whaaa, whaaa. You want to post, "I hate that idea". Fine You want to post, "your on crack, numb nuts". Not fine Pretty simple difference there. Let me let you in on a little secret, I really could give 2 craps about replys like that, they dont even remotely hurt my feelings. What I care about is hearing the opinions of people like MarkVI, etc... who do care. There message a few weeks back was heard loud an clear by me, as well as the message for me to stop crusading. Seems that the majority of my posts now are replys to crusaders, crusading against me! If that aint the pot calling the kettle black I dont know what is.
  2. Ill still be here, dont worry, little girl. 1) Your not that funny 2) Your not that witty 3) You dont deserve any respect when you cant respect others
  3. OK, lets take this one step at a time. 1) As a football fan, on a football board, talking football talk I have the right to post here. I posted a thought I had looking for opinions on whether it makes sense or not. In no way does that mean this is an open invitation to slam me or my thoughts. If you have some personal issue where you need to strike out at people here to make yourself feel better, step away from the keyboard and go seek help. 2) I, like many others have read the rules again and am willing to live by them, however many of you still do not. In response to this post, dont like it at all is sufficient to describe how you feel. I am not on crack, I dont have numb nuts, etc... That crap shows no respect for anyone other than yourself. Its uneccessary and frightens off posters who (unlike me) have thin skins. I actually WANT to here what they have to say, so shut the hell up so that we can continue to listen to them. 3) If you run a quick scan of the posts by the few (insert name calling here) posters who constantly reply with sarcasm and general hate, you will find that the majority of their posts have ZERO football content and are meant to merely intimidate, slam, degrade, and demean. In my mind its is THOSE posters who deserve ZERO respect and a one way ticket to banishment from a board that looks to DISCUSS football. which brings me to my next point. 4) Discussion- its meant to be an interaction between two or more partys on some topic. One one of you "posters" responds with you quikc slams, you shut down others from holding any further discussion. That is NOT in keeping with the purpose of this board. 5) AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL! I have been here for years, I will be here for years, I will follow the rules to the best of my ability and I will not stand by and let some of you attack everything and everyone without saying something. If you crusade against me, you are a crusader which is also not allowed here. Act like adults, respect opinions no matter how silly they may seem to you (ya know, you guys who are so knowledgable that you have earned ZERO say with the organization). Observe tolerance for others, or basically you are telling everyone that you have NO interest in others opinions, and NO tolerance for anyone other than yourself. That would make your presence here an oxymoron and a giant waste of EVERYONES time!
  4. Absolutely. IMO, he is the next Steve Hutchinson who can play C or G. I watched him several times last year and he dominates at the point and never lets anyone get through. Hart (a Syr guy BTW) ran for most of those yards behind Baas. Not sure why he isnt talked about as a sure fire 1st rounder. I think hes great and would start and play well at G day one. As for C, he may need some time to make the right line calls.
  5. Yeah, if solid means can get in there make a few tackles now and then, and get say 5 sacks every year then, yes he is solid. What I was describing was a trade to land a double digit sack stud who is a force to be reckoned with on every play. I guess he is undersized though, where as Jevon Kearse is the right size? (rhetorical question and sarcasm/on).
  6. I think he was a classic example of a decent/good player on a average team. Hilliard would do well here and I like his possession type WR attitude for our #3 spot. If he were on say, the Eagles he may have been a Mohammed type, not a Steve Smith but when a stud like Smith went down he would rise to the occasion. I wouldnt mind if we got him, I think Id rather draft a guy though.
  7. I like your thought but worry a bit about Teague at LT, Is he good enough to be solid there? As far as the rest, its an upgrade at LG, push at RG and RT, maybe a drop at the C position even if we land Baas (I thought Teague was pretty good last year). I hope that Teague does a good job at LT, we grab DeMulling or Womack, and manage to get Baas.
  8. Obviously you either dont understand the rules around here or hate this post so much that you are sending it to the deleted pile with a crack like "numb nuts". Grow up, or get out! Theres no place for cracks like that.
  9. I personally agree and would be willing to part with Henry a 3rd and 5th, or even just a 2nd to get him. However, if I were to write that Henry plus our 2nd for Taylor, I would have been flamed even worse than I was.
  10. Point is your, absolute type comments arent quite absolute Dont need a thicker skin, you need to observe the rules Again, you have no clue (neither do I) what can and cant get done
  11. as a football fan, who posts on a football board, and trys to keep the quality here high, ITS ALWAYS MY BUSINESS!!!!! Stay on the up and up
  12. you and Mike dont seem to agree. And the crack comment is uneccessary. You never know what can be done.
  13. Ill Bite: Elmira, NY/46/Stamford, CT (thats you) How did I do?
  14. OK, everyone who weighs less than 400 pounds line up on the left. Well.......Porky move over to the right. or, The local chess club drafts Floyd "big mac" Flo-mack (shown to the far right) to anchor their beefy lineup that bosts near wins against virtual-Bobby Fischer
  15. IMO, We simply do not have a solid double digit sack DE on our squad. Schobel is the next Phil Hansen, NOT Bruce Smith. We still could use a big time pass rusher. Miami is desperate for a RB. If so many of you are so sour on Henry why not trade him to the fish? Here is the rumor floating about Jason: Despite the statement released by coach Nick Saban this week that the Miami Dolphins neither plan to trade Jason Taylor nor move him to linebacker, don't pencil the veteran defensive end into the Dolphins' opening day lineup just yet. Sources within the organization contend that the Dolphins might listen if the right offer for Taylor came along. One reason: Some staffers feel that Taylor is an undisciplined defender at times, a player who freelances in search of the sack, a guy who doesn't take on blockers very well. They love his upfield speed but are wary, they say, of Taylor's alleged habit of getting out of position. We always felt that Taylor, despite his lack of bulk, played the run pretty well. Then again, our opinion really doesn't count, does it? And remember this: Before owner Wayne Huizenga hired Saban, the typically low-key Taylor was one of the players who publicly questioned the wisdom of hiring the former LSU coach. In any case, don't close the door on a possible trade of Taylor just yet. Jason Taylor adds a solid double digit sack guy to our young D-line. Henry goes to the fish and with our speedy LB's and big Sam, I dont see him having that much success against us. Problem is, it may take more than Henry to get Taylor, how about Henry plus Denney or Henry plus our 4th rounder. I would still do it. We really havent had a bigtime pass rusher and a guy like Taylor would keep Tom Brady at bay and could be the difference in games against them. Thoughts?
  16. Carpal Tunnel would make it hard to.......well........
  17. Finally some head way. Its not a deal yet so it may take us another few weeks to actually get one of them, UGGGGHHH.
  18. Im not even in the top ten, and some of the guys blasting me for so many posts ARE!!!!!!! HMMMMMMMMMMMM.
  19. So, if I had changed that line to: Not my team, not my QB, not my problem, and defintely NOT what ARE trying to become! You would have not sent the same response? Of course you would. You want 3 SB rings, so do I what I dont want is for the Bills to think that THEY can merely plug and play clowns into the positions and have Pats level of success. That just isnt gonna happen here, lets throw out a few "key words": Wide Right Music City Miracle Lost 4 straight Get my point, I love them dont get me wrong, this is my team and always will be. But, this team needs all the odds stacked in its favor and signing Ethan Albright to plug and play into our LT spot aint frikkin it!
  20. The only thing inane is your perpetual attitude! As far as my comment goes, I would hope that you "guys" (said kinder and gentler) would find a way to read into what Im saying. Apparently, I need to be 100% clear. So: 1) We dont have a HC as good as Belicheck 2) We did not have a DC as good as Crennel 3) We did not have a OC as good as Weis 4) We do not have a QB who has won 3 SB rings, yet wants to be paid like he is average (look up what Peter Brady made last year and then look up what Drew got) 5) We dont have players that have won 3 SB's and believe they can beat anyone any time So, pretty much from top to bottom we are NOT the Pats, what works for them will not work here. TD will NEVER trade for a HC, I dont think he has to Mularkey is great for US. Belicheck, as well as the coaching staff, is a HUGE reason why they are where they are. Does any fan think we could have started 2 walkons at CB in the playoffs and went to the SB? Thanks...point made. Does anyone think that another QB with 3 SB rings who will only want to be paid 5 mill per exists, anywhere? Nice try. The discussion into the Pats strategy is over, it wont work here because we have a completely different front office and philosophy. We tend to draft skill positions high, pay them appropriately, sign a few stars in FA, and then lots of second tier guys. We get sleeper coaches who arent the top ranked guys, we dont trade down often and stock pile draft picks, and we dont have skill players that will give bargain basement deals so the team can spend galore. The differences are so many and make any comparison so unrealistsic that any assumption of repeating the Pats success with the "plug and play" method they use is illogical, unfounded, and utterly ridiculous. If you love the Pats, see ya, Im sure they have fan boards head on over there. If you love the Bills and want US to win 3 SB's get in line (i will bethere with ya). But, if you think we can duplicate the Ptas methodology here in Buff, Ive got a bridge to sell ya.
  21. Your very right about this. Many here have questioned him in the offseason before, I, however, have not. This year, we just lost our LT, are starting a young QB, and do not have a solid player (right off the bat) on this squad, in FA, or in the draft. The ONLY version left is a trade. Lets hope he does have a plan and makes a big move.
  22. I dont flip flop at all, this guy is Kurt Warner/Trent Dilfer IMO. On any other team he would be average at best! That said, Peter Brady and his agent especially should be clamoring for top 5 coin considering the team won 3 SB's at the helm. Yet, for some ridiculous reason, he comes out and claims that he isnt demanding to be paid top 5 pay. Do I think he's worth top 5 pay? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Should his agent, Peter himself, and the NE Pats? ABSOLUTELY!!! No flip flopping by me at all. Doesnt matter, Im sick of talking about Peter, the Pied Sherpa, and the rat Pats! Not my team, not my QB, not my problem, and defintely NOT what we should be trying to become!
  23. Yeah, and we dont appear to be beating down the doors to sign Womack either, so back at ya: Is there anyone out there in FA or the draft who want on JP's blindside? NO!!! JP better get used to look-out blocks, you know....where the T takes a sidestep and yells, "look out"!
