  1. there is no food worse than Miracle Whip, period, full stop.
  2. More good news https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/05/18/moderna-reports-positive-data-on-early-stage-coronavirus-vaccine-trial.html
  3. If Proven to be true, it’s realy, really dumb. But as of today, nothing is proven. And if it is, as far as I know it is his first time being in trouble. In other words, a mistake, not a pattern. Ed grew up in a part of Texas where guns are common, legal, and easy to get. I will tell you with certainty, going out to ride ATVs a and shoot some guns in a common occurrence all over the country, I have even done it on more than one occasion. again, I just hate to see a guy reputation get torn to shreds based on nothing but speculation. Let the process play out , then make decision and form opinions on facts and not speculation.
  4. Good arguments. Appreciate it. having said that, in your lost you assume his guilt. All I have been arguing in this thread is that to assume his guilt before any tests are in is folly. I get it’s the internet age, but we see time and time again that people assume outcomes and and ascribe guilt based on an article written in haste amongst the need to be first. Happens especially to young people of color. I have never made him out to be a victim, I just refuse to judge him before the facts on in or in a edited to shreds video. you say he needs to get himself together, turn himself around... turn around from what? tests come back and he has illegal drugs in his system, or had a BAC of .14 , then we can start to form some opinions, but to do so before any facts are in just makes no sense to me.
  5. You admit nothing when you refuse a a breath test. That is the point. And yes, those tests can be way wrong. I know, I have been the victim of a faulty test 35 years ago. Thank god found an attorney with some brains. Long story, he sued the IL state police for a bunch of bad tests and won. Now, don’t get me started on how come he kept the majority of the settlement, but I did end up net positive for the episode my guess is he had flip flops on and he was worried they were not stable , but only a guess. and @Bill from NYC, see ya not have the integrity for a serious reply. Have you not declared him guilt already? Tell me where I was off.
  6. which you continue to procgimate I may add proff positive @Deranged Rhino
  7. No, lets declare him guilty because the internet told me so! Cue Richard Jewell and the Duke kids.. or for that matter lets talk about Arnaud Arbery and what the internet made of his guilt or innocence. And please for the love of god show me where it has been proven he was driving drunk with a gun. I will 100% always, always, always, refuse a breath test. And it someone tried to take blood out of my body without my consent they will nedd to knock me out, i would never, ever , never submit to that ...
  8. i have been golfing since 11AM , had a few after the round, but not sure what you mean here. To my mind, If Ed refused a breath test good for him. He should, as all people should. Cop suspecting a young black man of drug use, who seems to pass most of the the field tests is troubling to me. And requiring a blood draw and invading his body is kinda 1984 ish.. i ain't comfortable with it
  9. arghh, okay now i get it. Agree on the any excuse...and that term "mandatory blood draw" sent shivers up my spine.
  10. missing this as well ...does it say open container equals DWI?
  11. dont understand this post either..explain please as i think i agree with it
  12. not sure what ya mean?
  13. Full responsibility for what? again, show me where his tests have proven he was intoxicated / impaired. May have been, I will not form judgement until definite tests results have been released. And, why should he be different than POTUS? see above. Maybe his response should be "f The Police, they over stepped their bounds " if that is true does it matter? Ask any dude named Bruce in the early 90s. And that was before social media so...should people who are 55 and cause accidents that result in death be criticized? Lets not let the fact distracted driving causes way more death and injuries get in the way of a good moral rant!!!!
  14. Funny, don’t remember saying anywhere I drink a beee every time I drive. and according to your argument, not important how much ya drink , but where ya drink it. Drink beer in a bar, then drive , all good! Drink a beer while you are driving, morally corrupt. please make a logical argument as to why that makes sense.
  15. yep, and 3 white cops pulling over a young black man have never erred in judgement before. NOt saying he was or was not impaired, saying lets wait for the test results
  16. or was loking at his phone..cause ya know distracted driving causes way more accidents and injuries these days than drunk driving, but its good to know every one puts their phone in glove box when they get in their car!
  17. what are you crazy! Why wait for test results. We have already concluded he is a malingerer, low character guy , who is clearly a bane on socity as a whole, and the Bills in specific. After all, it's on the internet y'all!
  18. and you know this how? according to someone who is not named. I don't see anywhere where the cops said he was swerving. must have missed that one too..where did you read the test results?
  19. well, i am reading between the lines, and only speculation, but according to the attached ESPN link, officer suspects intoxicated by something else than alcohol..not sure if that means in addition to alcohol or instead of alcohol... And wholy moley, says a "mandatory" blood draw..how in the hell did the Republicans who run that state let that happen? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29185936/bills-lineman-ed-oliver-arrested-dwi-gun-charges
  20. not for me. Made a mistake if he was over the limit..i have made prolly well over a 1000 in my lifetime. And has it been reported anywhere what his test reulkts were? I mean we have him guilty as charged here...i assume we have proof of his trangressions ? Sure as hjell that video did not suppport that he was intoxicated from whet we can see.
  21. What a load of BS this is. #1) he is charged , not convicted. #2) young people make mistakes all the time, sure as hell know I did. Good to know you are being canonized for your exampler life in your early 20’s has nothing to do with his work efforts, integrity etc. just an awful leap.
  22. I think if you are driving, and impaired over the legal limit , should be punished to full extent of the law. No leniency, as I believe Oliver should be. No debate on that one iota. my debate has been, and always will be , if I have one beer while driving in a car, or two beers at a bar and then drive home , am I and the general public safer after I lever the bar ? because why? If the argument is no driving after any drinking, and I mean none, let’s make everyone who has had one drink at a bar, a restaurant , Christmas gathering
  23. Well, there were times when I was 23 where I prolly had a beer in one hand, a Marlboro Red in another hand, and had to drive and shift too! But that was way before phones. !
  24. Yep, agree should never drive drunk. Did I say I have a beer every time I get in a car? Good to know that we have banned all people driving from a restaurant and bar if they have had a drink. I think that law where they take your keys when you have had a beer was the right choice. Good to know they do the same thing at the Bills game.
