Week 2 Bills @ Dolphins 2nd Half Gameday Thread
GG replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the swing vote, obviously 😈 -
So it's now a penalty when a rookie DB didn't have enough field awareness? Mckittrick was moving forward when he made the block on a DB who was running wild in pursuit.
-
As if it matters that it's two separate threads? You consistently disparage this forum, and wish for is demise.

Thanks for admitting your role on this forum. I suggest you review of the ToS. And as for triggering, perhaps you did, because I've never met many members of my family because of sacks of ***** like you.

What's sadder is your bloodlust. I recommend you read up on the Russian revolution and see what happened to the useless idiot elites.

Remember the Godwin rule doesn't apply when you refer to Stalin, which is a more appropriate analogy anyway. -
There's a wide gulf between a critique and calling for the subforum to be closed down.

No reason for the nomination to wait. Confirmation can be held after the election. -
For the millionth time, this space was created specifically to keep politics out of the football board. You are perfectly free to contribute to the football board and avoid the politics board.

You continue to prove your worth as a total liar who's rooting for dead bodies in the streets. There's very little difference between mail in voting and absentee ballots THIS year because absentee ballot requests are through the roof, at an unprecedented scale. Still, ADs links also reference this particular case, where votes were only through the mail. Of course you know about this case, but are still being an obstinate ass. Have you had one positive contribution since you discovered this site? Are you that much of a depraved human who revels at the bloodshed, because you don't like a fat orange man?

Edit: NFL removes Bass's kick from All-22 video
GG replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The other undiscussed variable is where the official is standing. If he's a foot or so behind the upright, that will affect his view of a kick that's slicing to the right. -
These are all valid points, and the Administration could have done more to spur a more consistent response, especially early on with a centralized clearinghouse & purchasing of PPE. But in reality, we don't know how it would have worked if Trump had been more forceful with a federally mandated strategy. We know that the Covid commission exists and it held regular sessions with the state officials. The ugly politics of 2020 insured that there would have been very low compliance with a federal mandate anyway. To me the analogy is blaming the parents for not being around when the kids have a wild party. That's not a good look for the parent (Trump), but what does that say about the elected officials at the state levels, to whom Trump abdicated the responsibility?

That's the point, what are the odds that the ball didn't go through the uprights, when it is slicing to the right and hits the net 2 yards to the right and 5 yards deep? -

Just enough to give the good guys 3 points on the scoreboard. -

You're asking me to provide the mathematical details in a post where I provided the math? The only thing that's missing is the ball appears to hit the Toyota sign about 1-2 yards to the right of the upright. -

The ball disappears from view at within the 7-8 second mark, which is presumably where it hits the netting at the left end of the Toyota sign. The ball had a pronounced right leaning trajectory. Assuming there's 5 yards from the upright to the netting, it's virtually impossible for that kick to be wide for the ball to end up where it hit the netting. Stop being an ass. There's enough detail in the slow motion replay to realistically ascertain whether the ball was within the plane of the uprights. -
Weren't they more outside backers? My guess of the moves is that McD is more concerned about protecting the middle?

Watch the slow motion replay of the kick a few pages pages back. The applicable timeline is between 6 and 8 seconds. Based on the trajectory of the ball and where & when it hits the netting, it's virtually impossible for the kick to have been wide. -
Gore's big runs came straight at Dodson & Klein. Dodson needs to do extra film work to watch how not to get taken out of the play so easily. Lucky for us Jets had to pass to get back in the game.

Stopped by a friend's apartment this week to lift his spirits. He lives between Penn Station & Port Authority. It's truly a return to the 80's. The streets don't feel safe at all and his building hired private security to guard the block. There was virtually no police presence in the area, when in the past 20+ years they were everpresent in this neighborhood. Good luck to the tourists if they ever come back to midtown.

This is my biggest beef with the coverage of the crisis. There has been zero follow up on the initial frightening stories that the press ran with, especially when the original premise turned out not to be as scary as initially reported. It's not only incompetent, it's deadly, because it helps form bad public policy that results in more deaths over the long term.

You forgot to add "thousands of people who had placed wagers on this game, do not like to see officials take valid points off the scoreboard that most certainly had an effect on the final outcome." -
Now do the applicable graphs of mortality per 1k in those states, because if the thesis is that the subsequent states weren't prepared, that thesis is woefully wrong.
