  1. They didn't release him as you claimed they could.
  2. Not quite. To make room on the roster for Thornton the Bills released DT DeAndre Coleman and placed QB TJ Yates on injured reserve.
  3. Feels like we've been through this before. Spending in excess of taxes (deficits) only generates surpluses (wealth) for the private sector if there are productivity gains in the private sector or there's successful investment by the private sector to generate new products & services. If your argument is that governments sometimes provide a needed liquidity boost when there's a hiccup in usually well-functioning markets to stabilize a potential calamity, then we agree. But if your argument is that simply throwing money at a problem will stimulate growth out of the sky, then we definitely don't agree.
  4. Again - Waiting out the Jets game when Yates will be cut and either Andersen or Hodges are brought back. Bills may also realize that they don't want all of the three guys they just picked up on waivers.
  5. Hard to get Day One starter unless you're picking Top 3. Mahomes is the litmus test. They need to get at least that caliber player
  6. That would be borderline criminal if they don't use their new draft capital to take a QB very early
  7. Webb is much better than EJ
  8. Why are we concerned about the Jets' top pick?
  9. Banyard is a step down, but you can't argue that Webb isn't a step up from Yates, especially if he can free up a ST spot. Hodges replacement is probably Lacy. But frankly, I was surprised that Hodges didn't really stand out going against the 2nds, when he was initially thought of competing to start.
  10. Exactly on queue with misrepresentation Yates - Webb JWill- Banyan
  11. My pet pick up three yrs ago.
  12. Also means fans overvalued the fringe players.
  13. Jauron was Levy's preferred coach, but that's where the similarities end. Levy had zero background in NFL front office, and delegated from his couch. The rest of the scouting staff was a mixed holdover from Donahue, and another absentee head of scouting
  14. You can't cut a player in concussion protocol. Of course Vlad has been playing like he's in one.
  15. Back on the hurricane. Now the northeast is seeing why this one was a tough m'fcr. It was supposed to blow through overnight, but it's still lingering. Go away.
  16. Could it be that you didn't only compare him to Jauron, but the entire front office and coaching staff to the Levy/Jauron times? If you had kept the comparison only to Jauron, there wouldn't be as much controversy. Because the Bills are very likely to play Jauron ball this year
  17. I don't know why they think he'd work out better than Reggie Wayne did
  18. What's with the pumping the brakes theme on Peterman articles. Can't professional writers come up wth original analogies?
  19. Either that, or someone finally figured out he was the most dangerous weapon against our QBs
  20. The guy who's had two ultra conservative Jews as his editors?
  21. Oh good, I thought the answer was going to be, The Jews
  22. My guess is that Green Bay called to offer Rodgers.
  23. Then who said this: This is exactly what I'm talking about. Even though you were 100% in the Ragland evaluation, you can still slam Beane & McD for cutting ties with the above players. Really? Again, only the Watkins move doesn't make any sense from a football perspective, making me think there's far more involved in that decision than meets the eye. But all those other players are easily replaced, and I would not deem them as anything resembling a building core for the future.
  24. He wrapped it in the overall slams that the new regime is ripping out the young core, even if that core doesn't really work going forward. And that's the beauty of BADOL's posting history. There are very few posters who are as knowledgeable as he is in breaking down the players and schemes. But he's also an insufferable narcissist who would never admit a mistake and always reframes his argument to appear that he was right all along. Would make a great politician if he ever decided to go down that route.
  25. Is that even a fair comparison? Are you comparing the Gillislee who got cut three times or the Gillislee who walked into a comfortable running game in Buffalo? Are you comparing him to Jwill's rookie camp, or this year? Darby was abysmal last year, and you bet that Eagles are hoping they got a player that looked good playing against and offense that he's practiced for 3 off-seasons instead of the guy who was grossly exposed vs 'phins. Keep swinging. Because only BADOL can regale us for a year about how awful of a draft choice Ragland was, and then turn around and slam the new regime for cutting ties with him. I do admire your moxie.
