Let's hope that does not happen - I don;t believe either has what it takes to be a solid full time NFL QB. I think Trent would make for a nice back up, but he is too damaged now to be a full time starter. We can only hope that we get more of the same (likely given the line is the reason for our horrible play on offense) followed by another round of housecleaning, new hires, renewed hope and strong season ticket sales! Ralph's formula blows that away of the Patriots....

We can talk about Clemens, Winfield, Greer, etc - all good corners, but the thing we are missing is that our front office close to let them walk and in turn we drafted more DB's to fill the void. had we kept one or two of these guys, we could have drafted an OT, LB, DT, etc instead of always trying to fill gaps by guys who we don't resign. What is the use drafting these talented guys if you can't keep them and form a foundation of strength nad draft other positions we need.... Like I said - all good corners, and for that matter, we again have good corners....now about that O-Line....

Keep up the good fight brother - I am in your camp as I think it's painfully obvious he is too lean to play the DE position with any regularity. As a hybrid rushing LB, maybe there is some hope. Anyway, take your lumps and stay true to your convictions - Maybin will turn out as bad as Mike Williams or Erik Flowers for us....

Say what you want - this guy is never going to make it as a 4 / 3 end....Start the move to LB now and hope for the best....

They need to stabilize the O-Line. This will improve Edwards and the offense as a whole. If we would have addressed the tackjle position in the Spring or early summer, the Bills would probably have 2-3 wins right now and would not be a bottom three team in the league....

BillsVet - first and foremost, I applaud you on a great question / post. Enough of how crappy this organizaiton is. Wow - what will it take, there are so many things they need, I am going to cop out and say anything that gives me hope we are going in the right direction. This includes bringing in new "football" people to run the front office to make personnel deciisons, replacing the head coach and bringing in talent for obvious holes, most notably, Offenseive Tackle and Linebacker. I am sure they will do one of these, but all three, I am thinking Ralph will not invest the money or hand over the keys...
