That game sucked last night in my opinion. A Thursday night game to start the season? Nothing to get hyped about and this was a dud. I hate the early kickoff specials. The league should start all games on Sunday. 2nd half had no scoring. Then during halftime they kept showing the Excel Center waiting for the GOP Convention. Why not talk about the upcoming matchups this Sunday? Stupid scheduling conflict and a lousy game. The only bright spot was NYG runner, Jeremy Jacobs. That guy was a beast!! I miss years past when the season started on Labor Day Weekend. 'nuff said!

What about John DiGiorgio??? Can he take his place or is it the wrong LB position? as Beavis would say... "This Sucks!!"

I remember in my college years in the mid 90's, it was always the start of the season on Labor Day Weekend. You would start your classes on a Wednesday, have Friday and Saturday to party, Sunday was kickoff and Monday was the hangover holiday. Tuesday, you would go back to classes, recalling what a blurred, but fun weekend it was. We used to have a pig roast at our Fraternity house on Sunday and watch as many games that were on. I really missed that tradition. Now its all corporate greed and sponsors and $$$ so they can have it start next Thursday. I know its been like that for awhile now, but just wanted to bring it up because the other way was the best. Anyone have any thoughts on that? LETS GO BUFFALO!!

So how does it work to pick up other teams cut players? Would the Bills have to release someone else on their roster to aquire a new guy? Sorry for a basic question, I just don't know the system.
