  1. Glad to see that your long posts are back. I agree that there seems to be a lot of competition this year and that no one is being handed a job. I believe Evans will be a great #1 and I hope we have enough depth at the position to keep teams from shutting him down. It would be a shame to have this fast receiving group spreading the field and a quarterback who is not able to throw a completion past 20 yards. That is why I am hoping JP wins the job, he seemed to have a good raport with Evans.
  2. Damn you. Good thing your avatar is so hot it was able to quickly get that image out of my mind.
  3. No way that Whitner could get drafted higher than he did this year. Most people felt #8 was a stretch. If he sat out a year he'd be lucky to go in the top 20 in next years draft. He'll sign early next week.
  4. Not a chance. I agree with you. 8-8 at worst. We will be in the middle of the pack. Last year everyone was on our bandwagon before the season and this year we are the vogue last place pick. The truth is in between and the key will be improved D line play.
  5. He sure did. I remember him in press conferences saying he would sign before camp. So much for that...
  6. A new "baby momma" maybe?
  7. This is great news. I honestly thought he was going to play out the year and then go to the highest bidder. I am very happy that this got done prior to camp. Way to go Marv!
  8. I thought they were trading him to Jacksonville?
  9. I voted other: any reference to Mike Williams and Tampa.
  10. I abstain. This poll is rigged... I say Moulds and Andre Reed.
  11. I say it is Doug Flutie's little pooch kick thing.
  12. Why... Isn't that the year they won the Superbowl? Damn no name QB.
  13. I'm planning on being there. Going to 2 games this year, Houston and Detroit.
  14. Eh, if it helps keep ticket prices down, I say, auction away...
  15. Somewhere there is a joke in here about how Brett Favre layed down for him the day he set the sack record ...but I just can't quite figure it out.
  16. This looks like one of those "record your own music video" places that they used to have in the malls where you sang badly and danced around in front of a video screen. WOW.
  17. Uh, I could have gone without seeing that again. Just knock it down!!
  18. They must have been fun on a date. I like the standing 69 at the end... wow.
  19. Agreed. I felt last year that Evans had a better chemistry with Losamn and Moulds worked better with Holcomb. I would be suprised if Evans was not pulling for JP to win the starting role. Time for our "Big 3" of Losman, Evans and McGahee to shine.
  20. Actually, we couldn't cut Mularkey because he was a coach. He was fired. p.s. I don't know what he said, I forgot to watch.
  21. Is that that creepy lookin' dude?
  22. Yup. I was serious. He's in the NCAA D II Track and Field HOF : Former Pittsburg State University track & field standout Brian Moorman will be inducted into the NCAA Division II Track & Field Hall of Fame next week. Moorman, who captured three straight national championships in the 400 meter hurdles between 1997-99, will be enshrined into the Hall of Fame in ceremonies to be held Wednesday, May 24, at Emporia, Kan. The awards banquet will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Emporia State University Memorial Union. Moorman, from Sedgwick, Kan., finished a decorated track & field career at PSU as a 10-time NCAA Division II All-American. He earned individual event All-America accolades on eight occasions and twice helped the Gorillas’ 4x400 meter relay team to All-America performances. In capturing the 1998 NCAA-II Outdoor National Championship, Moorman turned in the second-fastest time in school history in the event with a 49.77-second clocking. Former Olympian Dinsdale Morgan holds the PSU record with a 49.11 time from the 1996 season. Moorman dominated the hurdles events in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association during his collegiate career. He garnered All-MIAA honors in individual events 13 times, including eight MIAA titles. Moorman captured the league crown in the 400m hurdles from 1997-99. He captured a pair of MIAA titles in the 110m hurdles (1998-99) and he won the 55m hurdle title three times (1996, ’98-99).
