  1. I wish Jauron would just step up and make this official. JP has proven himself to be the starter and the best thing for this team is for Jauron to show his confidence and move forward. "We're going to leave it as it is," said Jauron. "J.P. is clearly the frontrunner and played pretty well the other night. We made a number of errors the other night as a team and as individuals and as coaches and we all have to improve. I think he's improved every week and every day in practice. We'll leave it like it is and if anything changes we'll let you know." http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4070
  2. Not a bad list, fyi you have Powell getting cut and making the team. For some reason I still see Burns making the team, not sure who he'd replace.
  3. So with all of these merges, RJOSEPH has still only started one thread. Might me the first one topic wonder we've had in a long time.
  4. So the consiracy theorists may say that we intentionally under-utilized him in the preseason because we knew he needed some work and want him on the practice squad but didn't want other teams to see his potential. I like it. Marv is a genius.
  5. He seemed to have a decent camp from what I've seen but I was hoping for some input from people who have been to camp and seen him play.
  6. Actually, it was Anderson starting and he appeared to play a pretty decent game.
  7. I don't fully disagree with him. We have plenty of talent in our secondary, unfortunately many of them are still unproven. Tasker did seem a bit like a homer in the first half but at times I actually think he is overly critical of the Bills, as though he is over-compensating to avoid criticism. Back to the secondary, if Whitner, Simpson and Youboty play to similar levels as they did in college, they, along side Clements, McGee, Baker and Vincent are a very talented group.
  8. I don't think saying that he earned the #2 QB position is the same as writing him off. I just believe that JP has shown enough to earn the starting QB role. Nall has shown talent and will hopefully be a solid backup, but even based on preseason it is hard not to say JP looks better.
  9. Teams usually like to bring their starters out in the 3rd quarter in the 3rd preseason game so that they can see how they handle getting back in the groove after the break.
  10. The schedule on nflnetwork.com shows our game playing an Tuesday at 4pm but the guide on my TV shows our game playing tomorrow at 6am. I just set it to record, I hope it's really on. http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/preseason_2006
  11. No offense, but whenever I read a post like this and then check the number of total posts for the author, the total is usually less than 20, I'm not sure why that is. I would be suprised if any of these 3 got cut this year, especially Vilareal who is tight with Jauron. Now as far far as next season goes, all 3 could be on other teams by then.
  12. We will be enjoying Losman to Evans quite a bit this season as far as I can see. They definitely have a chemistry together and Evans has the speed to come to a near stop and then fly past the defender like he did in this game. A thing of beauty.
  13. I agree as far as the first quarter goes. I thought we looked very good except for a couple of misses by JP and the fumble by Willis. There was a hold call by the Bengals at the end of the first that should have been a safety but they innacurately(IMO) claimed it did not happen in the endzone. So far, Ryan Denney looks really good as do several of our Defensive players and Ko Simpson had a great ST tackle. Ok, now going to watch the 2nd quarter.
  14. Cool, vote early and vote often. I guess this is how American Idol fans feel.
  15. I especially like trying to guess which smiley you will use next and whether or not you will mention Willis McGahee. p.s. it is awsome to see Willis beating defenders into the endzone.
  16. Went over to the Bengals message board and they are having similar discussions regarding the NFL network. They are voting for this game as well.
  17. Never mind, it appears that our game is on tomorrow at noon. This would be a re-broadcast. Tuesday, Aug. 22 Air time Cincinnati at Buffalo 12 p.m. Carolina at Jacksonville 3 p.m.
  18. Doesn't re-broadcast imply that it has already aired once? Unless I'm missing something, they have not played our game yet. I hope we do "win" this vote so that fans not residing in Bflo. or Cincy can see the game. Still 1% behind.
  19. and while everyone is bashing you, I'll add that you stole my ID.
  20. There is a "teams to be announced" timeslot on Tuesday evening and some people are hoping/speculating that they will play our game.
  21. Although I agree with your sentiments, I don't think there is anything wrong with our fan base, we're just passionate. Some people just like to complain, others truly believe JP is not capable of leading this team to a winning record, however, we all care enough to actually give up some time on our precious weekends to read about the team and post our opinions. My personal opinion is that it is time to name JP the starter and use the next 2 weeks to prepare for our first game. I believe he has shown enough to be given the opportunity to fail or succeed.
