  1. You are the epitome of a negative nancy. Not all first round picks pan out in year one, especially a project player such as Maybin. It was pretty well understood upon his drafting that he wasn't going to be an instant success, however his upside is unbelievable. If you watch how smooth of an athlete he is, it is pretty impressive. He can still fill out his frame as a 22 year old, which will help with him getting man handled when a tackle gets their hands on him. With his speed, I think this year he is a situational pass rusher, while he learns to OLB position, but in two years he should be a star. I am not worried about being right, so f_it, if I am wrong. I am definitely a Maybin fan.
  2. No, he is signed through next year. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...NFL&id=3691
  3. Ummm, not sure we should call Erie county economically depressed. Buffalo yes. Erie county - no. Actually, I think this area is in much better shape now than in the late 80's to early 2000's. Granted Erie doesn't have the population, but when you include Rochester and Southern Ontario, that is a nice market of rabid Northeastern football fans. Hell, Houston just includes about 100 miles of Texas crap as their city. Been saying it for years, the Bills aren't going anywhere.
  4. Damn! That is the coolest mechanic...... EVER!
  5. KISS - Irvine Amphitheater OC, circa 2003. Absolutely worst show I ever saw. Old men standing there in makeup playing crap music. Got free tickets so i said why not check this out.
  6. Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls! HAHA! Totally agree. F the Yankees.
  7. Thanks for following along Pete. I guess the sarcasm meter wasn't high enough for you. No shiatzu sherlock.
  8. Your generalizations and saying that we are the best, the rest of you have no clue, blah blah blah. The baby boomers constant "me first attitude" has lead to many social ills. I definitely went overboard on my comment to show you overboard your generalizations sound... I'm happy you followed along Chef.
  9. Although for rape this makes sense, but I think this is a dangerous device that some evil broads can put in their cooch, and take their man hating out on some unsuspecting fool. You are essentially putting a weapon inside a vag. I think its better to just teach women proper self defense techniques, instead of relying on this brutal contraption. I have two daughters and I would much rather have them learn to fight back then to rely on something like this. Women are tough when empowered and trained correctly.
  10. Anything by Bob Mould takes awhile to get used to, but then it becomes genius.
  11. All you guys are the baby boomers, who led to this obesity. Yet pass the blame on as usual. I have twin daughters age 5 that are in perfect shape and eat what is fed to them, however this generalization is ridiculous. The biggest baby generation = baby boomers. Had life by the balls, and destroyed the Earth and this country.
  12. Highly recommended. Dallas in the summer is way worse than Buffalo in the winter in my opinion. I just moved back to Buffalo from San Clemente, Ca last September and I don't regret a thing. My California born wife loves it here. Sure we have some warts, but the community and the area is actually making some positive moves. I think its in much better shape than in 1996 when I left. There is some momentum growing. When UB continues with its downtown aspirations, and its goal to commercialize its research, watch out. It could be a real exciting place for my kids, who will be entering the job market in about 15 years. Buffalo is a special place, and it will be cool when it rises up from the depths. The generation that killed this city either moved out, or is slowly dying off. The younger 30 somethings like myself are really making a difference.
  13. Isn't November the end of the hurricane season? If you go late November you should be fine.
  14. Some background that about 95% of Bills' nation is familiar with. Lazy journalism. I agree those hacks suck. Give me JW or CP, or even JS over those hacks.
  15. Spoken like a 23 year old. Rock on Dude! You know some people play music for fun, and enjoy writing their own stuff. Alot of us 30 somethings have careers and families as well, and we aren't chasing a dream. In fact, most of us pre-American Idol bands never really gave it much thought, other than the "wouldn't it be cool" type.
  16. I agree the singer is horrendous. Music is interesting, but that guy royally sucks.
  17. Cool. Gotcha.
  18. Not my cup of tea. The lead vocalist is trying too hard, and his voice is way too monochromatic. New genre? Are you serious.
  19. Looks like a player. He might have a shot.
  20. Umm Bob. New coaching staff! We need to bottom out, but your analysis is faulty. Hopefully, Nix hired the right coach to train them. From what I heard, Gailey is the real deal, but we shall see. QB: We got 4, there was nothing better. All 4 of these guys will battle it out. I want to see who comes out of this new offense LT: Bell wasn't that bad, got hurt. Kid has a ton of potential. Interior line is fine. WR: Hardy(I love this kid), Johnson, Jackson: I think Hardy will surprise. NT:Troupe, Williams: People forget McCargo. He may be a 1st round bust, but he shows some flashes. Interesting to see his 5 gap DE. DE: Way better!!! Not even a question. LB: Agree, this will be interesting Anyway, its a rebuilding period, but it looks like there is a plan for once!
  21. UMM. Your crusade is silly. At that position the Bills picked the best player available. Spiller is insane. You guys with this conspiracy theory crack me up. Did you want Anthony Davis vs Spiller?
  22. Made our own kielbasa this year with my Mom. Old family recipe. Simply amazing. Doesn't seem as fat and greasy when done with the best ingredients. Alot of work though, with the hand meat grinder.
  23. Janet Riley, president of the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council, supports the academy's call to better educate parents and caregivers about choking prevention. "Ensuring the safety of the foods we service to children is critically important for us," Riley says. What??? Sweet gig, if you can get it, huh Janet?
