  1. Sorry but I'm not looking for those type of DEs, I'm looking for the next Osi Umenyiora or Justin Tuck. Our defense is chock full of undersized players and that trend needs to stop. Put on a tape of the Giants/Pats Superbowl if you want to see what I'm talking about.
  2. It's not as well known as it should be here, that you had a front row seat to Jauron's flame out in the windy city. You and me both know that what Dick Jauron does best is come up with baffling answers to questions posed to him. If he mentions how "hard it is to win in the NFL" again, I'm hoping that one of the reports will shove his head through a wall. Why is Chris Kelsay and his big fat contract still on this team? Why have they not traded for a probowler like Waters when they have players they can deal to KC. Kelsay? Chambers? Bell? Absolutely nothing will change until this man is fired and they hire a front office that actually knows what it's doing. Here's your 2009 Buffalo Bills, celebrating mediocrity since 2006!
  3. The real question is why is everyone so high on Aaron Maybin? He played in an inferior conference and is way too small to play DE in the NFL. Maybin has bust written all over him which is why I think the Bills are so interested in him. Our team needs to get bigger, not smaller. Our team needs a three down DE, not a "specialist" since the best team in the division, the Pats, actually throws the ball on 1st and 2nd downs. That's obviously a crazy notion that the Bills have yet to grasp. Ayers will end up being an all-pro with a team like the Titans or Eagles and the Bills fans will still be wondering why our team continues to get pushed around. This is a mans game... Maybin = boy Ayers = man That's why Mike Mayock is so high on him.
  4. The only thing obnoxious and dramatic is your constant hand wringing over my name. It's funny that you mention the words "pride" and "pu$#y". If this team had some "pride" and weren't a bunch of "pu$#ies" they wouldn't have been shut out in their division last year. If this team had some "pride" and weren't a bunch of "pu$#ies" they wouldn't have lost to the Browns and 49ers at the Ralph. I think you're the embarrassment to Bills fans. The constant, "hey, with a little luck we'll get 'em next year fellas" crap is what I'm sure the optimistic Detriot Lions fans all say. That's what I would call embarrassing. Take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself why you're so angry at my opinions about the Bills. You might actually come to the conclusion that deep down you think I'm right. It's not my problem if you're offended by honest, unfiltered and objective discussions about our team. This isn't the buffalobills.com message board. It may be hard to believe, but not so long ago I was once an eternally optimistic Bills fan. That ended when it became clear that Dick Jauron will never coach this team to a winning record. This was after the team quit on him in the last part of his second season. I was one of the meager few here at TSW calling for Jauron to be fired at the end of the 2007 season. So here we all are a year down the road and it seems that I might have had some clarity on that issue. So what did our team do after the pathetic end to the 2008 season? They gave Dick Jauron a three year golden ticket. They've officially become a jackass organization in my book until that man is fired. BTW, if you don't like me having the name "1billsfan"...here's a quarter, call someone who cares.
  5. Can you get anymore delusional? Please explain to all of us exactly how you see the Dick "Lifetime Loser" Jauron led Buffalo Bills beating the Bill Belichick led Pats in their home opener on Monday Night f'n Football sparky. They couldn't even beat them WITHOUT Tom Brady!!!! Sorry, but being a Bills fan doesn't mean you must check your brain at the door. I not only have given up on that game, but after the Ralph "Jump the Gun" Wilson decided to keep that loser Jauron and after seeing our schedule, I gave up on the 2009 season pal. It's up to the coach and players to prove the doubters like me wrong. I've had it with the false bravado, these lightweights don't scare anybody.
  6. After 3 years and 43 games, Donte Whitner has amassed a grand total of 2 interceptions and 6 pass defenses. Does that scream top ten talent to you???? He's top ten in name recognition which is apparently very pleasing and as important as talent for many Bills fans.
  7. Picking him at #8, the Bills brass and us Bills fans were no doubt expecting him to at least approach the level of those "elite" players. If they were merely looking to plug in a "system" safety who isn't asked to be a playmaker on defense then why in the hell did they decide to draft that kind of safety at #8 in the first round???? That is some crazy sh_t@ss logic to me. I was expecting a playmaking safety after they drafted him there. I don't agree with you on Whitner, but I can agree on that.
  8. You spend no time lamenting, huh? That's certainly nice and friendly of you. Sorry, but I have a major problem with a former #8 picked Bills' player not living up to his high price (see Ngata wearing a Raven uniform). Look at the stats and please tell me where Whitner is exactly is better than Scott. You're like all the other Bills fans who think that since Donte Whitner is one of the better known players that he must be good. Aren't stats a B word? Donte Whitner was supposed to be the next Bob Sanders, Brian Dawkins, Troy Polamalo, Mike Brown, Rodney Harrison. Given the stats so far in his career the only guy Whitner is comparable to is his backup, Scott. But you don't have time to lament that. Maybe we should cut every Buffalo Bill some slack, if the #8 picked guy can fizzle without lament from the fans then why not every guy on the team.
  9. Please tell me tell me exactly where I was being out of line as a Bills fan with my commentary. Everything I said was truthful. Who's being the big loser Bills fan here? The one who shows no remorse with the criticism of a once proud franchise that has become a pathetic exercise in futility or someone like you who is still accepting of the decade long stink pile? Hate to break it to you pal, but this team won't start winning until the fans start revolting. Stop being accepting of the bad coaching, the bad draft choices, the bad gameday efforts. So here's my prediction of the score...Pats 45 / Bills 13. So that somehow makes me a Pats fan? That's too damn funny.
  10. Oh how cute, another clueless fan who thinks Donte Whitner is good.
  11. Oh stop, that's like hoping the sun won't set. The Pats are going to rip the collective weak hearts out of Jauron and the Bills' chests and show it to them. Sorry, but I'm giving the Bills less than one percent chance to win that game. Has something to do with the embarrassing beat downs they've taken over the years to that team. The Bills deserve, and have fully earned, the pie-in-the-face comments by the media.
  12. Did you know that Bryan Scott had more tackles and more passes defensed than your boy Donte Whitner? Oh yeah, Bryan did it in less starts too. I'm not surprised so many like you are still enamored with Donte. I'm sure the thought of having to come to the realization that we passed up Haloti Ngata for a Bryan Scott clone is a very scary and upsetting thought for you. Sorry pal, you're the one who's being preposterous in your argument... http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster/Br...3d-0761ec6fdbac http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster/Do...82-e6e7730540b3 The smart thing to do is to deal Whitner while they probably can still get something decent for him. As they did with JP Losman, Bills fans like you should show no mercy on Donte "The Bust" Whitner picked at #8 which is 14 spots higher than JP Losman was picked in his draft year. This double standard has become ridiculous. Why don't you take your own damn advice that you gave the Losman supporters, stop making excuses for the guy, get your head out of the clouds and understand that Donte Whitner is a B-U-S-T.
  13. Whinter has a long way to go to become an elite player. Sorry, but I think Donte's a bust that could still garner trade value while the perception of him is still seemingly high throughout the league. Why do you say that Waters is declining? Just because he's 32 years old doesn't mean he's declining. He probably has at least 4 very good years left and it's about time the Bills fix the line problem before Marshawn gets beat to a bloody pulp.
  14. If this guy is a really good guard then I think it's time the Bills get creative... Waters for Whitner Waters for Hardy Waters for Parrish and a third If they did trade Whitner, they could let Scott and Bowen (he's too small to be a LB) battle for the SS spot.
  15. No, but being a Buffalo Bills fan would leave me with endless amounts of material if I were one.
  16. Listen Trent, I'm glad you're finally off the gold course but now you've lowered yourself to posting on a Bills message board? Honestly, don't you have better things to do with your time? Like studying tape of the Pats' defense?
  17. He calls Kelsay a "disappointment". That's like calling Andy Reid "big-boned". Maybe he forgot about what a pass rush did to Tom Brady in his last full length game. Just slipped his mind I guess. These national guys are clueless. The Bills need a DE, a OLB and more OL help before they need a freaking tight end.
  18. So now we're splitting hairs over what's opinion and what's speculation? Seems like I touched a nerve there fella. Do you honestly think he's putting in the same work that Manning and Brady did in their younger days???? If he were he'd have been in Buffalo and talking to the Bills brass in person and not texting from them from the golf course. Just thought I'd give you a little more of my "pure speculation".
  19. I'm not going to call him names. Just wishing he'd start giving the impression he loves this game and wants to be the best QB (be it gloved or no glove).
  20. I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but what the hey... I get the distinct feeling that Trent isn't as driven as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were in their younger days. I'm sorry, but I don't see him putting in the necessary overtime during the offseason to learn, work and train towards becoming the best QB in the game. I seriously wonder if he's all that into football. I definitely don't get the feeling he loves the game. Trent realizes that this is what he does best so this is what he's doing, but all things being equal he would take being a professional baseball player or a professional golfer in a heartbeat over playing professional football. He hates cold weather and hates to get hit. I get this from TE's sideline demeanor, post game press conferences, interviews and general lack of being around Buffalo when the final whistle blows in the final game. Either he overcomes the doubts in 2009 or him and his dunderhead of a head coach hit the road for good after this season.
  21. Driver = 43 TDs Owens = 139 TDs Who gives a what Donald Driver thinks.
  22. Excuse me???? Poz will DESERVE respect when he becomes a great PLAYER. IMO, the guy's been a huge disappointment so far.
  23. Drafting a defensive end that weighed 227 pounds as recently as January? No thanks.
  24. They aren't good at finding players in the earlier rounds either... 2003 - McGahee (1st), Kelsay (2nd) drafted by the Bills before Umenyioura 2005 - Roscoe Parrish (2nd, no pick in 1st) drafted before Justin Tuck 2006 - Whitner drafted before Ngata Gee, it'd sure be nice if the Bills had Umenyioura, Tuck and Ngata on defense. It's enough to make you sick.
