  1. He has picked an upset in EVERY game this week, except the carolina/st louis game. Riiight http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/NFL_SC-PRED
  2. Wow, this is amazing... It looks like the colts want to win now and the next year or two....then take a breather for a while to eat this. This is insane. This is the perfect exampe of cap hell. 8 and 9 year contracts with huge signing bonuses. Works fine now...but in 4 years with declining skills, harrison occupying 14 mil (guesstimate) in cap space....ouch. But yes. I think Indy now becomes a prime location for TH.
  3. Yes, thise are some good WRs who are less than 6'. Note, only one of these players (mason) is in the top 20 in recieving yards. Also note, these players are on teams with a combined record of 20-40. However, these recievers are the calibur I expect Lee to develop into...The solid role player, who helps a team alot, but is not a household name and will not draw signigant attention on the field. I just dont see him being able to be a #1. For that role you need a big physical WR such as TO, Moss, Walker, Moulds etc. Now enough about Lee. The kid had his best game ever today, and I hope he proves me wrong...Congrats to him. GO BILLS!
  4. I am not trying to be negative (hard to believe i know). I love lee as much as you guys do, and think he can be great...but I honestly think he needs the big WR around him to suceed. Name me another #1 WR who is under 6' and maybe I will reconsider.
  5. You forgot size...definatly lacking in physical stature which is a big prolem with him becomeing a #1. I like Lee alot, but I think he needs a presence such as EM opposite him for him to be fully effective. I hope I am wrong though!
  6. He has always been a very good defensive guy. His problem is that he doesnt have a clue about offense, and evidently doesnt know enough to hire someone who does.
  7. No kidding. with the exception of the onside kick last week....this experiment has gone wrong.
  8. Its on...and Irvin is a terrible speaker
  9. I am just slighty concerned with him playing pitts defense who is only allowing like 70 yards a game on the ground.
  10. Okay, I need some help here. I have ahman green...Fred Taylor, Nick Goings and Larry Croom. Conventional wisdom says Taylor and Green. However... Taylor is playing Pit. Green is hurt, but should start. I am thinking of going with Goings/Green. What do you think?
  11. Evidently the show goes til one...so the next hour and twenty minutes...I thought it was over at 12
  12. Its NFL countdown...they just did a teaser before a commercial...tune in..sometime in the next 20 mins
  13. Hmm...good question. Its been almost a week since i heard him mention it. I was under the impression it was nfl countdown with berman. Does Irvin do a radio show on sundays?
  14. Bump for those of you who may not have seen this....
  15. Come on....as much as I like marv, there is nothing I would want less than to see him come back and struggle ala Joe Gibbs. Coaches come back (or stay too long...Paterno), and tarnish their legacy. I dont want to see that happen.
  16. Not only is Ray Lewis not the best defensive player on his team anymore, he’s been playing like crap for much of the season. Take that for what it’s worth, Ravens fans. It’s true. Don’t stab the messenger.
  17. Yep. Sadly so. I had a feeling it might be this guy, but I just didnt think he had the political clout and experience to hold down such a position. I worry he might be overwhelmed at this job...we shall see.
  18. Dont forget pitt holds the tiebreaker over NE due to H2H. So, Pitt needs to be 2 games back that last game of the season (or one game ahead), fo rthe game to be meaningless to them. Now, if they are 2 games back, its possible they will be battling for the other bye. That also means that they would be 3-2 or worse in their last 5 games, and playing them at full strength in buffalo might not be as difficult of a task as it now seems. So bottom line, Lose NE. I am not sure if pit winning or losing is the better scenario for us going forward. Of course this week vs. the jags it is the scenario we want...but im not sure that will be the case going forward.
  19. The rush was that bledsoe was horrible. I was never in favor of starting losman as he is a project who will need a few years to develop into what we want him to be. I was however in favor of giving matthews a start, because bledsoe was so awful. Now that he has stepped it up (amazing 3 picks is steping it up), this setiment is subsiding some.
  20. Is he going to be second string yet? I dont understand for the life of me why we dont make him 2nd string...we bring him in and not matthews. he is the 2nd string guy regardless of where he is on the depth chart. JUST PUT HIM THERE
  21. Yes he is a good pitcher. And truthfully I wouldnt mind seeing him on the yankees dispite what i have posted here because he is a competitor and a good team guy, and can still play very well. The problem is with giving up vazquez, who, although I dont think he fits in in NY, is a young pitcher who might be able to develop and be here for many years, and one of our best prospects, albeit a 3Bman whose position is occupied for a few years. It just doesnt make sense.
  22. As one who correctly predicted the election (ALL 50 states) http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...indpost&p=94694, I am going to say that the new director of homeland security will be Asa Hutchinson Book it. (thank god that phrase was retired...)
  23. and I dont think george will figure it out until he has a 200 million dollar payroll and a 50 win season.
  24. I agree with TE. Not so sure with safety as I think baker might be good. And with vincent and milloy, i dont know its a need quite yet. In a year or two yes, this year...probably not. Maybe another UDFA.
