  1. Brainwashed just like every other player on that team. Let's see how he thinks after not winning anymore SBs. He is at the top and the only place for him to go now is down. Time to get a taste of reality Tommy.
  2. Take him to a Sabres playoff game.
  3. Hardon Harrison by a country mile.
  4. I believe in equal rights, they are both in the master crapper.
  5. Amerks brought him up from the ECHL I believe, probably on a PTO. I am not sure who he is replacing, since everyone seems to be back from injury. He could be filling McMorrow's roster spot. Don't know how long he will be here, but it sounded like he played a solid 60 minute game.
  6. Manitoba had 8 PP and Rochester had 3 PP. Not too one-sided. We have lost both games this guy has reffed and the third one he reffed was the one where we scored 4 goals in the last 12 minutes of the game after we were down 2-0. I was there and he was totally one-sided towards the Moose.
  7. Ryan Miller played like poo-poo. Very weak in the nets. Games 4 & 5 are going to be on TV in Rochester on channel 98.
  8. I'm a day late and a dollar short, but this thread was too good to pass up. Isn't Frutie's son around 11 or 12 years old? Probably started watching football 8 years ago. Makes ya wonder. And he is right about Flutie being in the HOF like Jim Kelly. The only difference being Frutie will be looking at JKs bust wishing he had one there also.
  9. The mention of either of the two gets my blood boiling, but after watching Tom Brady on SNL and realizing that he really is a douche bag, and not just me thinking he is, makes my hatred for him lessen. On the other hand, I hate Nick Saban and he hasn't even coached his first game against the Bills. I have to give the edge to the Miami Carp. I do have Patriot and Dolphin toilet paper in my house if that counts for anything.
  10. Nice place, but I was thinking more like the Joseph Ave, Cuba Place area myself. Rochester is a great place to raise a family, but living here all of my 37 years, it was a little dull at times in my single days. Don't get me wrong, I still managed to have a good time, but nightlife seems to be dying a slow death around here. Great restuarants, great minor league sports, there is always a Wegmans within 3 minutes and all your other needs are usually reachable within 15 minutes. One more good point. Niagara Falls, the casinos and the Canadian Ballet are all within a 90 minute ride.
  11. And for the few NASCAR fans here, the Nextel Cup is racing on their toughest track tonight at 7:00. Darlington, "the track to tough to tame" or "the lady in black" as some like to call it.
  12. There's your answer on Bruschi trying to play this year.
  13. I wish I could make it also, but the daughter's have a ball game. If the Amerks lose, they have 3 in Winnipeg and if they don't get off to quicker starts it could be their last home game of the year. Manitoba is tougher than people think and Wade Flaherty has knocked the Amerks out of the playoffs the last two years. He's got our number.
  14. You do know that the Sabres would never sell out a playoff game if it weren't for the fans coming in from Roch, Syr, Batavia, the Southern Tier and PA right? Very few people are willing to travel that far to Roch to see AHL hockey so we have to rely on the small population that lives here and try to fill over an 11,000 seat arena. It would be nice if some more of the Buff hockey fans came here to support the Amerks like many of the Rochesterians go to support the Sabres. Golisano should have some sort of bus/ticket packages from Buff to Roch set up. I know it's NHL vs. AHL, but AHL it's all we got right now.
  15. I've been to all 3 home playoff games so far. I can't speak for any of the other hockey fans in this town, but I do my part to support the team. I also find it really hard to believe that there is that much more to do in this town other than the Amerks on a Wed night.
  16. We don't need anymore NE castoffs.
  17. Yeah we are great, seeing how Philly drew just under 4,100 and Chicago drew just over 2,000 tonight. And those are two NHL starved cities 5 times the size of Rochester with twice as big arenas. AHL playoff games on weeknights are ALWAYS bad draws, but Rochester is always at the top of the league in attendance.
  18. Someone posted this 3/4 weeks ago. It's awesome to go there and look up places. I did a satellite view of Las Vegas, that was cool.
  19. What, did you run out of toilet paper????
  20. It's about freakin time. Hopefully his girlfriend took some boxing lessons while he was in LA. Fat loser!!!
  21. Syracuse, Auburn, Clemson, Illinois?????????? Could be any team you want it to be.
  22. Just got back from the game. One hell of a show. Down 2-0 in the third and we score 2 goals within 11 seconds to tie. Amerks did this without Vanek playing either. Only 4,100 in the barn, but after the 1st goal it sounded like 10,000 til the end. Talked to Andrew Peters, who happened to be in the food court eating a Red Osier sandwich. First time I have seen him in person. He does not look like your average NHL goon at all. Very cool dude though. Lindy and Darcy were there in Golisano's suite.
  23. House is a great show. I love Hugh Laurie's dark sense of humor. Hugh is one of Europe's finer actors and does a great American accent.
  24. That's TD'd, how many yds do you think he will get in those qtrs??
  25. How's it goin ya hoser?? You'll fit in fine and even better if you hate the Patriots and Red Sox and most every other thing coming from New England, except for the Bills fans that visit here.
