Is everyone actually this stupid....
Rayzer32 replied to Rayzer32's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You know what I mean. -
I must have caught him on a bad day at Fisher last week. When I saw him in 7 on 7 drills, he fumbled a snap and most of his passes were way off. I guess that's why the staff doesn't judge players from one drill. I hope he does well.

That's a great point. Last year in how many starts (I can't remember) Eli Manning looked terrible. But yet, all the blowhards still say he will be just as good or better than Peyton. Now that these same blowhards have seen JP's so-so performance in a scrimmage, no less, he sucks. I guess because JP doesn't blow the media like the Mannings or Brady then he just plain sucks. -

I agree. He saw first hand how DB was treated by the fans and media here and he knows he will need to do good to shut up all the critics. From his personality and the attitude he has shown in just his first two years in Buffalo, he has not shown any weakness whatsoever, and seems to welcome the challenge to prove everyone wrong without an ounce of fright. He is not used to failing and sure does not want to start here. -
IT WAS A FREAKING SCRIMMAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The so-called NFL gurus are labeling him as pretty much a bust already? along with some ignorant, glass is half empty, fans. What did we do drafting this loser, oh my god someone shoot TD already. Give me a break with all this crap already. What has the guy done in live game action when it counts??? thrown maybe, what 2-3 passes in hostile conditions, actually taken part in how many plays, under a dozen??? Now, he ALMOST throws 1 int and goes 6/11 in a meaningless, CONTROLLED scrimmage. Oh no, his career is over. Does anyone remember pre-season last year. JP looked better than average and EVERYONE, including the retarded NFL gurus, had wood for Losman..........now all of a sudden he sucks. I don't get it. Let the dude start 2,3,4 games before even thinking how good or bad he might turn out. Until I see different with my own eyes, I have full confidence in the kid. I guess if we don't win the next 3 SBs, then JP was a worthless pick in some eyes. I would be extremely happy with a winning record or a playoff appearance this year. Man, that retard rollercoaster is jam packed already. I'm going to go puke now....AGAIN!!!

Well yeah, but Fisher holds about 4,000, maybe they can squeeze 5,000. That's a far cry from 75,000. If they had all the promos like GB, they probably would draw well. I believe last year Buffalo had a family night for one of the pre-season games, where kids got in for $8, I think, and that sold out. But there is a big difference between a scrimmage and a pre-season game.
-
Obviously not much to do in GB on a Friday night when it's not snowmobiling season. The Bills have some of the best fan support in the league, but no way does the Ralph sell-out a scrimmage. I'm sure I'll get beat up for this.

Actually, if you listen to the trolls around here, NE wins because BB is a genius and TB is the best QB to ever walk the face of the Earth. With them two, the Pats don't need anyone else.

What is MOST important for Bill's 05 Playoff Run?
Rayzer32 replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You know my answer. I do believe an improvement in the o-line is right up there also. -
Quick drops and roll outs never worked for NE, right? Yes, their o-line was better than the Bills, but not great. You design plays to hide your weak spots.
-
335 lbs., millions in the bank, I don't think he actually gives a chit what the scale says. If I had that much money, I would probably be 450.
-
Did you see him dissapear into the line and then squirt through for his TD run. He doesn't need much of a hole. Thus the quick drops and roll outs.
-
JP doesn't have to be great to run a ball control offense. As long as they don't have him dropping back 7 steps and heaving the ball all afternoon, a la DB, he will be okay. WM will be the majority of the offense and deservedly so. Big Ben was NOT spectacular last year like so many think. He was averaging 190 yds passing per week (incl playoffs). He was +6 in the TD/INT dept, again not spectacular. He was called on to manage the game and not be the hero, just like JP will have to do. The Bus was the majority of Pitts offense the last 8 games of the year.

Or this, Millions in China safe after Typhoon hits, except for 1 unlucky bastard.

All I keep hearing and reading about is how the success of the Bills rely's on JPs performance. This is true to a point, but I believe that if Willis can stay healthy throughout the year the Bills will have a winning season. He will be our main offensive threat that other teams will have to prepare for. I don't look for MM to rely on JPs arm to win many games, just manage them properly by keeping the turnovers and sacks down. I see alot of quick drops and roll outs this year, but more WM than anything. JP will not have to be spectacular for the Bills to succeed. Now with this being said, I can see the stat line from the opener against Houston reading like this: Rushing - WM, 12 att for 58 yds Passing - JP 38/47 for 523 yds and 6 tds.

JP lucked out as far as the scrimmage goes!
Rayzer32 replied to The Riddler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I kinda see it as a good thing he is starting slow, if that makes sense. If he came out at camp throwing darts to everyone, then everyone would be sportin wood thinking he is going to light the league on fire. Then if he struggles his first few games everyone would be let down, sayin what the f*ck happened to this turd. Now, I see this as he can only get better or at least I hope so. Now if he struggles, we won't be too surprised. Remember last year he tore it up during the pre-season and then in the very, very limited live action he saw, he looked like a mouse in a maze lookin for some cheese. -

From what I've seen, when he is not running for his life, his timing with his WRs seems to be off. I saw alot of overthrown balls when I was there. -
Him being healthy for a full season is a long shot. In 10 years Satan has played in 704 games, in 11 years Allison has played in 486. Nothing like paying a player to sit in the hot tub. Allison would be a better player if you didn't have to worry about him blowing out a knee from wiping his arse.

Who cares. A washed up, injury prone old man is not who we need to replace "The Devil".

Brad May was great in his day, but Florida would probably be a better fit for him with his age and all. -

Wow, Jason Woolley is available. I wouldn't mind Rafalski, but you're right, not much there. Gotta remember though, us Sabre fans are used to Darcy consistently dragging his feet and ending up with the likes of Greer, Heinze, Brown, Jillson, ya know the mediocore guys.
