  1. The Bills did not need an aging vet for a blocking TE. the Pats had more need for him because the cut Baker and decieded to let Watson walk. the problem with ben Watson is he always showed signs of greatness in one game then looked like a rookie the next. He has been in the league for 6 years and you still can not count him to make the catch. He made 2 great TD catches in the Bills game then did nothing the rest of the year.

  2. Jarvis Green will be 32 next season. His production has been going down the last couple of seasons. he is a backup at best. Tulley Banta Cain was a ST player the first seasons in NE then went to SF where he did nothing and was cut. he had a very surprising season this year but I do not think he will repeat it this season. He was set to sign an extension this then backed out at the last minute and demanded more money. I think this season has gone to his head.

  3. RW voted no because he did not understand the revenue sharing rules. He said that he was confused about how the cap was created but not because he knew all this stuff now. Also the 60% now included the other revenues like the luxury boxes and concession, parking and others. But the cost of building new stadiums that was built with private funds was not exempt but the money given to teams by local city and state was now added to the revenue calculations for cap purposes. These revenues now drove the cap ceiling up to where it is now. RW felt that the cap was going up and he was getting no extra revenue to address these new costs.

  4. The NFL teams only have a 75 mile exclusive rights clause. The Bills could not demand anything unless they can prove that Toronto is their base city area. Because the Bills play in Toronto 1 regular season game, I do not think that a team would move there. LA have 2 franchisees move because they could not get a new stadium. Also the LA fans never wanted the Raiders but Al Davis won it in court and when he could not get a stadium he moved back. The original owner of the Rams died and his wife got the team. She was not from LA and got a sweetheart deal from St Louis who had lost the Cardinals. New Stadium, all concession and parking money, plus a 50 million dollar bonus to move the team

  5. How would you feel in your GM drafted Willis McGahee in the first round knowing he would not play for another year if at all?

Then blaming you for all that went wrong! Also GW made twice his salary as a DC than he made as the Bills HC!

I think he learned a lot about being a future HC again by his experience in Buffalo! Any coach worth will is going to have a say on who gets drafted of picked up in FA, not just the GM.

  6. Maybe Sully is tired of writing about a NFL team that has made itself irrelevant to todays NFL. He sees the Bills making mistake after mistake and trying to get the fans to believe it is working. If Maybin has to be moved to LB because he can not play DE then why was he picked at that draft spot. We are paying elite DE money for a maybe linebacker.

  7. We have a top 5 pass defense because we could not stop the run. Why pass when you could run the ball? We had a top 5 pass defense in stats only, when we needed a stop they could not do it. Just look at the NE games, when we needed to stop the pass we folded and lost both games! We are great until it is really needed.

  8. Here is the problem, the NFL wants to be treated like one company with 32 owners. In this way they control who makes and markets the merchandise! In this way the money is shared among all the teams and players. But there are some owners that no longer want to share all revenue, like Dallas. If this anti-trust exemption fails, then teams could market and have different makers of merchandise and keep all the profits for themselves. This is what Dallas and the Redskin owners want, since their merchandise out sells everyone else. They no longer want to share this money with the likes of the Bengals,Jags, Bills and other small market teams!

  9. How do we know that Hardy and Johnson are decent receivers? With April gone, how do we know what the special team's performance will be? We do not know which Lynch we will have and if he will still be here in 2010.

What 2 Pro Bowl linemen are you talking about? One may retire and the other may revert back to form.

It is not the best secondary in the NFL, it is the most injured secondary in the NFL!

There is a ton of questions about this team right now, this team needs a coach that wants to rebuild it!

  10. But there is always a problem. Since they did not make the final 8, they are not handicapped by the free agent rules of the uncapped year. They can go out and sign whom they want. Also they have a mid range 1st round choice and 3 second round draft picks this year and 2 firsts next year to rebuild.
