  1. Because having surgery to attempt to fix something effecting his play is whining? :face palm:
  2. I had a sprained wrist and I lifted with it 5 times a day until it subdued.. It took around 4 months for the pain to improve at all and still to this day I can't do some exercises like barbell curls because the pain shoots right back. I can understand how Mario must feel because with him playing and practicing nearly every day if it was a serious wrist injury it has likely not improved an ounce since the injury occurred and odds are it has gotten worse.
  3. A little off topic but does anyone think Dalton won't turn out that well? He's made plays but he's also been bailed out a bunch by Green last season, including multiple throws that would easily be interceptions if thrown to any of our WR's. The bengals D was also playing very well last season which was the true reason for their success in my opinion. He has looked promising this season but they've also had a very easy schedule so far and I believe most quarterbacks, even Fitz, would succeed against the Browns, Redskins, Jags. I'm not saying Dalton won't turn out to be good or better than Fitz but I don't believe he will turn out be a top 10 quarterback and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up having a "disappointing" career.
  4. Huge sample size you have there. Your entitled to your opinion I just don't think there is anything near enough to think he is all of a sudden bad.
  5. Fred is still hurt with a massive knee brace on, he is obviously going to look and play slower while its on and potentially even after its off for a while. Plus speed was never his game.
  6. Dissing Bills fan aside, he's pretty much right. No reason to hate the guy after 4 weeks when in the offseason most were salivating over him.
  7. Agreed. The only issue is a wrist injury most likely will stick around the entire season when he is practicing and playing on the line every week..that is not to say it won't improve some but I fully expect his wrist to still be bothering him to an extent by the end of the season. I also fully expect the majority of bills fans to be treating him like he is a piece of s*** because of the money.
  8. We heard you the first time! He did get better but he still wasn't good. I'm not worried about the 4 wr's yet though. Likely to see more formations or a waiver wire pickup.
  9. I agree with your post except for this, CJ is struggling as a receiver as he does not run good routes and lacks the awareness to find the open spot. He is good on quick routes that require nothing but him running to the spot, catching the ball and then showcasing his skills. I think that his speed led to him seeming like a better receiver in college than he really was. One would think CJ would be a better receiver than Fred but that is simply not the case.
  10. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/19769032/report-vince-young-owes-169m-for-lockout-loan Didn't see this posted anywhere, guess he is cash broke.
  11. Kelly it is my opinion once you get in the later rounds multiple prospects will have the same grade and then they'll take the one that fits need best. Could be wrong though and I'd agree that every pick likely isn't BPA.
  12. Now we just gotta get Chan another toy at WR.
  13. This is getting really pathetic on the end of the Bills. Good thing none of this matters and we got Super Mario...but damn.
  14. Only in Buffalo after shelling out 100 mill for a star can they not get the audio for the mic to work.
  15. Lol, you like one decent wr and terrible wr's after? We have no #2.
  16. I get the opinion Nix wants to keep Bell and get another Tackle as well, and I agree with it. However, I don't think that the Tackle has to be a First rounder, and ultimately getting a pass rush will be more vital to the team than a tackle. I'd like to see a pass rusher, tackle, or WR in the first, using BPA to determine the pick. I don't know the best prospects besides what is projected, but there will be a highly projected pass rusher, tackle, or WR who drops to us. On top of this, hopefully Nix lives up to his replies last Monday and we get some well needed keys in free agency as well.
  17. Yes, one can make that argument. However, it seems to be that the to offenses put up points against anyone, regardless of how good the D is. I completely agree that it is about the overall team, and truth is a team built in ANY fashion can win. With that said, it's clear that there is a slight advantage to building a team around the passing offense and pass rush on defense compared to other strategies. Like you said though, any type of team can win as its about how good the overall team is. I'm not saying anything about the chicken or the egg, just what has the greatest advantage in the current NFL.
  18. That's not completely true. In the end it came down to Te offenses needing to score to win, and they both did. D might of been the difference early on, but I'd easily argue a good passing offense and a good pass rush is the best mold in the current NFL.
  19. You knew they wanted Spiller before the draft and had him rated as a top 6 prospect, and IMO the drop off from Spiller to the next BPA was too large for them to not take him. If you look at that draft, the top talent was much weaker than most drafts, and because of that I don't think they should be faulted much for the pick. And Beerball, Nix said when he got here that the roster was not very talented, to say they made the pick because they thought they just needed A new attitude and coach and had the talent on the team is naive at best.
