I've started to see this pop up on various social media and it's the most painful sports graphic I've ever seen.

I used to think some other organization would scoop up McD if he got let go here. When they start looking at all the close head scratching losses, I think teams would shy away. It's disgraceful, how often the offense has pulled themselves off the mat to tie or take a lead late, only for the D to cave at the end or in OT. The Bills championship window is maybe in the final realistic season and McD has pissed it away. Even with D injuries they should have closed out some of these games...TWICE in Philly they blew it.

If the O averages 30+ pts per game over the final seven, i’d nominate Joe Brady to be head coach, and worry about who to find for DC. Keep the continuity with the O and Josh.

I've told my friends over the years that Buffalo teams are on this planet for the sole reason of providing enjoyment and euphoria for other teams fan bases. It’s not likely but i saw somewhere on the interwebs that an AFC team could make it in with 9 wins. Supposedly, it’s not out of the question.

Yeah he’s done a really good job.. getting Allen back on track…they must be meshing well, getting the RBs involved and playing well, the Oline, even scheming some plays for Gabe. If the O averages 30+ points per game the rest of the season, put the man in the head coach pool of candidates and can McDermott. Why not? look at all the young coordinators that got jobs the past 5 years and excelled.

This amazing clutch FG with the end of game on the line, the weather, the distance, etc.. it couldn’t come against Dallas or SF huh?!? it had to come against a team they play once every 4 years or whatever. sheesh. As a fanbase and team, we cannot get a break to save our lives.

Part of the reason they lose so many close, one score games is Allen’s brilliance in often bringing the team back and tying the game or taking a late lead. That allows for the opponent to have the opportunity to steal the game back, which they always seem to do.

Bass choked, their kicker didn’t. But losing another close game at the end and losing yet another OT game in the McDermott era is not unlucky anymore, it’s poor coaching. Whatever the opposite of clutch is, i suppose choke, is what McDermott’s defense has been.

I saw a quote on Twitter attributed to AJ Brown who said he fumbled. Many non biased observers online are saying it was a fumble. That really makes me sick if the game should’ve been over there and we got screwed. This organization and fan base deserves better.

I had us beating the Eagles in a nail biter and losing to KC. I just can’t see the Chiefs losing a 3rd home game. Hope i’m wrong and the script is flipped and we do run the table. That’s the only way. Dallas will not feel comfortable playing in mid-December in WNY. The Chargers will be tricky but they seem to lose to everyone else, NE is woeful and Miami in a must win situation is doable.

I think we need to admit we have a really great QB who is now back on his game…but the team overall is average, partly due to injuries on D , partly because they have that “unclutch” makeup.

Because the Eagles are smart. The 2nd and 4th Qtrs are always the most important because teams use timeouts and there’s additional plays happening and last second FG attempts. Sometimes Buffalo blows the wind advantage even at home when they can have it at the end.
