One game at a time. I would really like to see Buffalo 9-6 going into the 17th week against a Pittsburgh team that has nothing to play for. Then I think we've got a chance.
It could happen, but what about reality? The only way I could see them winning is if they can somehow finish with a better record than the Steelers or the Patriots. Going back to back road games against two great teams is a tremendous challenge.
I read the section that Levy wrote about the comeback. I was only 10 years old at the time and I was watching it at a friends house in Chicago. When it was 35-3 they turned off the television and told me not to watch anymore. I guess they might have thought that it was too painful. The few people who actually stayed for the entire game have something they can say that almost the entire population of the world can't say. They witnessed the greatest comeback in the NFL of all time. Although I've seen the highlights, I am jealous of the people who were there. I would say for any Bills fan who was attending the game, the emotions throughout the game were probably unimagineable. I'm glad that in the end the majority of the people in Rich Stadium felt pure happiness. Everytime I watch the highlights of that game, I still get goosebumps. Wow was that something special.
A good center would help the offensive line, and put Teague a our first in line backup. With the line of Jennings, Tucker, New Center, Villerial and Williams, I think we might have something.
I remember the hype about him as a rookie. He started off strong but haven't heard much from him lately. Keeping Moulds instead of Wiley was a wise decision by TD.
Lets just worry about winning our games that we have. If we can win the rest of the games, that's the only way we have a chance. One game at a time. If for some reason we end up 9-6 going into the last game against Pittsburgh, that might be fortunate for us becuase the Steelers might have nothing to play for.
Parcells might have influence in Dallas, but Jerry Jones is the one pulling the trigger. He must have believed that the Bills were going to be a bad team this year. Whoops!
Believe it or not this injury could be a blessing for the Bills and Henry. For the Bills, they could end up keeping him next year and have themselves an outstanding backup. Or some team in the league could offer us a first round pick or even a second because they are desperate for a top RB. As for Henry, he could come back from his injury with a new passion. He could be the wrecking ball he was a few years back and might be even better than that even if he's wearing a different uniform.
Loyalty is the reason why some of us are here. I am a Bledsoe backer and still believe that he can get it done as a quarterback. He can still make some fantastic throws. When the OL gives him time to throw, he can be outstanding.
No doubt about that daquix. Some people on this board wanted Shane Mathews to start ahead of Bledsoe. I'm glad those guys aren't the head coach of the Bills.
The Bills definitley have a chance at this one. If we can get off to a fast start, were in good shape. Getting down by 7 points or more on the road right away can be disasterous.
