  1. We have a family wedding in Boston Friday night, then a friends daughter's wedding Saturday in the Hamptons. My plan is to do the Boston wedding, and let the wife represent for Saturday, and I will be solo for the game (unless my wife screws up the plan).

Amazing!! anyone else think Ken made them wait for the offseason before going for surgery? lol

I remember him telling me one time he told his kids " Don't even think about getting married between September and January, since I won't be able to make any of those dates"

What about Air Fryer Wings? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I have an air fryer as well. It does a great job but I can't get the same number of wings as I can in my gallon deep fryer. The key is to thaw out the wings (if they were frozen). Pat them dry, then spray a little oil (I use avocado spray) on the wings before setting them on the basket/pan. In the air fryer at 375 for 20 minutes or so (flip them over halfway through. You will get a nice crisp skin, with a tender inside. In my Cuisinart I can get about 14-16 wings per batch. If you have a small group, you can do fine, and I think they are better than the deep fryer, I use the deep fryer for volume.

Here is the one I use:

You can find them at Bed-bath beyond, or use your leftover Kohls cash and you will come out reasonably priced. It also replaces your toaster oven.

  5. I have a double basket deep fryer that takes a gallon at a clip. I will replace the oil after about 60 lbs of wings (if done over a few weeks). After it cools, I pour it back in the jug and keep it in a cool place or fridge. If it is over 6-8 weeks I get rid of it in the original jug. I generally use vegetable oil, but I prefer peanut oil (higher smoke level, and good crisp wings), but some people have peanut allergies so I wont use peanut oil unless I know all people coming are good with it.

I just buy Kaiser rolls, brush eggs on them, sprinkle with caraway and sea salt and toss them in the oven til they crisp up a bit.

Make it the last thing you do though cuz they tend to get soggy pretty quickly.

Thats my routine, I will cook my own beef and slice it thin. I will use the au jus from the can (not the thick stuff in bottles) and drop the sliced beef in the au jus for a minute before serving on the rolls.

  7. In the early 80's I would attend our office Christmas parties in the Manhattan. Fell asleep on the Long Island Rail road several times after these parties. One year I miraculously woke up in time to get off the train at the correct station. As I descended the stairs at around 2 AM, I was stunned to see that my wife had thoughtfully parked our 1982 blue Mazda 626 at the base of the stairs! I get in and see that she had somehow knew I would be too full of holiday cheer to drive the stick shift, so she somehow swapped out the manual transmission for automatic. She had also had the forethought to put one of those plastic gold crowns with deodorizer in it to cover the smell of my beer consumption. As I praised her wonderful planning, I could not figure out why my key would not start the car. I fiddled with it a few times, then figured it may be a sign I should not drive. I walked home and somehow my Mazda had beat me home! Gone was the automatic transmission and the gold crown stink absorber.

So perusing YouTube I've randomly discovered the source.

With that kind of "perusing" I might suggest you clear your browser history and for good measure, spray bleach on your hard drive.
