I don't have Insider, so someone please share what it says.
If it is totally misleading, I will delete the thread.

Agree, but I have to add a receiver. Here ya go:
RD1---Andrew Luck QB
RD2---Cameron Heyward DE
RD3---Jeremy Beal OLB
RD4---Joseph Barksdale OT
RD4---Stephen Schilling OG (Lynch Pick)
RD5---Ryan Winterswyk DE/OLB
RD6---Scott Lutrus ILB
RD6---Titus Young WR (Lynch Pick)
RD7---Chris Hairston OT
Second Lynch pick is in 2012.
And FWIW, Steve Johnson has four TDs in five games.

Ralph Wilson knows that in the current economy even a so-so team would fetch a hefty amount of money to sell but a 0-16 team could be sold easily - cheap. Even if the Bills are sold cheaply RW still makes a lot of money.
So you're saying Ralph is purposely trying to sell the team on the cheap.
Come on.

Presumption is it's going to be a weighted lottery, similar to what the NBA does.
Sorry, I don't have the link, but it was from an ESPN story in their season preview.

Lamonica was drafted in the 24th round by Buffalo in 1963....
Moulds is wrong, he dropped the ball but continued to improve....period
Your view on Moulds is skewed by hindsight. If this board existed in 2007, Moulds would have been subject to the same treatment as Maybin.

Arizona might be worse then us and they also need a QB.
Arizona is in first place.

Why in the previous three years did KC win 10 games while the Bills won 20? Same ownership, right?
-
I still have to look at the game again more closely...but Green was also improved...though not as much as Bell....our weak spots on the O-line seemed to be Wood (still not 100%?) and Meredith when he subbed in for Bell...Trent did hold onto the ball a lot as well as well
Thanks, Phil.

So where were the breakdowns in protection coming from yesterday? Were they all Green? Were they blitzes? Was Edwards holding the ball too long?
I didn't watch, so any input is appreciated.
-
Man handled the Williams' yesterday. With the lack of depth / talent we have on our OL really makes you wonder who the hell is making these terrible decisions at OBD now that we have a "GM".
I'll take your word, since I didn't watch the game, but Miami scored 7 offensive points last week, bringing their season total of offensive points to 20.

I read it. Still want to draft him.

That means no matter WHO else the QB is, Evans scores TDs at more than twice the rate he does with Rob Johnson v.20. Evans puts up #1 numbers when he has a competent QB. I say "competent" because the other guys Evans has played with were not all stars unless you think Losman, Holcomb, Fitzpatrick and Brohm were PROBOWLERS.
Problem is Edwards sucks more than twice as bad when it comes to scoring TDs with Evans. Please, please, please put this one to rest as Evans gets the job done with even the most run of the mill QBs around. Don't blame Trent's lack of success on #83.
Two points;
When it's not Edwards, Evans averages 54 catches, 880 yards and 7.4 TDs per 16 games. Debatable whether that is No. 1 receiver numbers.
Also, Evans best year came in 2004 with Drew Bledsoe, who was a multiple Pro Bowler, even if he didn't make it that year, and threw for over 40,000 yards in his career. So, I don't think it's fair to conclude that any of those QBs are better for Evans than Edwards. Let's see the numbers broken down further.

So you would want a 5-11 QB leading your team against the best teams in the NFL? A guy who is not a consistent passer and will NEVER be a starting QB just because he won the Heisman? Call me disingenuous and petty but make a better argument for the guy being a starting NFL QB besides 'He won the Heisman' To me, he is a guy who played for Ohio State and some people may have heard of him. He did win the Heisman, I'll give you that

Look like starting QB numbers to me
Third and final try...
The point is you should be trying to make the better argument. Yes, he went to Ohio State, but if you know there's more to it than that, say so. If you want to say he is not a consistent passer, why not? And writing he will never be a starting QB is pretty conclusory, isn't it? Not really much of an argument. The reason I think you're being disingenuous is because you do things like call him 5'11, while linking to a site that says he's 6'0.
I'm done. Good luck, tbone.
-
Because the Heisman trophy ALWAYS translates to success in the NFL?!!!!!!!! COME ON MAN!!!
How's Eric Crouch doing in the league?
How was Danny Wuerffel's career?
Ty Detmer was a solid pro too, wasn't he?
There are exceptions to this but come on man, don't tell me that winning the Heisman has anything to do with being a great pro QB.
You missed the point, so I'll explain it again.
People can legitimately take different sides on Troy Smith as an NFL quarterback. To reduce the pro-Smith argument to "he went to Ohio State" for the purposes of belittling that side is both disingenuous and petty.
-
I'm sure it has to do with the fact that people have heard of him because he went to Ohio State and played Quarterback there. Beyond that, I have no clue
And nothing to do with that Heisman trophy.
Come on, even if you don't agree with them, at least you can be a little less disingenuous.

He doesn't seem to be doing his regular Friday at 3:00 chats. He always liked to push the envelope - did ESPN push back? Anyone have any inside info about the situation?
-
I didn't see the word "expert" on that page. I did see "guy" 26 times.
-
for an "expert" to think that tim tebow will be better than any of the qbs on buffalos current roster, is a joke....and i believe we beat the jets, and most of us know sanchez sucks (again no better than our qb situation, probably replaced by brunnell by mid season)
Can we just quit with the whole "expert" thing? Bill Simmons doesn't call himself an expert. He's a fan who writes a column for the purposes of entertainment, and he has never represented himself as anything else. Okay?
-
romanowski and rodney harrison came to mind first
Wilfork. I'd like bad thing to happen to him.
Good choices.
I hated Drew Bledsoe and Ben Coates.
-
"The Bills are not a playoff team" passes for love these days.
Wow.
-
Not really. That only applies to players who haven't yet suited up. Hardy was put in PUP list at the beginning of training camp last year because he was recovering from a knee injury from the previous year. Easley already started playing in camp, so he can't start the season on that PUP list. Besides, he's already on IR.
Thanks for clearing that up.
-
Isn't there a window to activate people off IR, like Hardy was last year? Around Week 10?
Being off crutches is not the same thing as being ready to play football.
-
This is like the mid 1980s all over again. We'll be picking guys up on waivers & plugging them into the starting lineup. Pretty sad.
More like, this is like 2009.
Edit: Chris Draft, anyone?
-
No one on the list had their rookie season after 1985. Really?
