Sorry you can't get past by occasional typo and yes I know how to spell Buffalo but obviously I made a typo.
My attitude with the site, which as Avenger points out I do mostly by myself by hand, is to get the information out to the people in a concise form so people can quickly get the latest news on the Bills. I summarize everything myself instead of just providing links so if you don't have time to read articles you can get a quick blurb and move on...
Sometimes in my haste to get things up while living my normal life of raising a family and work I do make a mistake that I don't catch. I'm sorry you can't get past that...
I do welcome an e-mail when I make a mistake at webmaster@billsdaily.com and I will correct it instead of getting flamed for providing information to fans for the past 12 years as a hobby.
BTW, I fixed the typo on the homepage.
In solidarity with Steve, and as protest against AVP, I say we spell Buffalo with a w for the rest of the day.

How many times does Nix go on a long rant, take a breath, and then say, "The point I'm trying to make is..."
God bless him.

Hey Tim,
Can you give us a general impression of what you're hearing about Flozell Adams around the league (an original Gailey pick)? Is the perception that he's shot, or wants too much money, or is waiting for an injury for a chance to start? Thanks in advance.

Carrington is definitely a DE, not an OLB.
I'd replace Ellison and Harris with Batten and Moats.
I'd cut one of your OLinemen, probably Gaddis.
I'd replace Gaddis' roster spot with Chris Ellis at OLB.
I'd replace Klopfenstein with Stupar and probably the worst of the three QBs in camp with Brown.

We signed someone who wasn't good enough for first team all-MEAC? I'm rooting for this guy.

I basically agree. It just seems that we've said that about a lot of years over the past decade without ever realizing the promised payoff.

Hey were fresh off the 2010 draft, and Mcshay from ESPN already has a 2011 mock draft out, but worst then that, he has us picking 1st overall (QB Andrew. Luck, stanford). There is a note that selections are based off power ranking. I knew we were not good, but I didn't think we were that bad.
He goes into it a little more on the post-draft podcast. The draft order was determined by the regular power rankings - five or so guys' rankings averaged. So, it's not just McShay saying we're the worst.

If Baltimore is still shopping the guy, Nix better take another good, hard look at Gaither. Now that the draft is over and done with, Nix can't possibly be satisfied with the guys he has playing LT heading into the new season. I, nor anyone else around here can possibly know what Baltimore is asking for when it comes to Gaither. It was long rumored to be a 2nd. But it seems to me that if a team is shopping a young and legit LT at that price, it is either a) a load of crap; or b) there's something very wrong with him.
As far as I understand the rules, until he signs his tender, we can talk to him as much as we want, bring him in for a workout, let the position coaches get to know him, etc.

I know it's not very meaningful to do these hindsight polls. Good thing we don't get charged by the topic.

Im not so sure there wont be a rookie cap next year...i think this is the main reason why we did not take a QB high
If this were true, then we would have jumped at the chance to get Clausen at a second-round rate. The fact is, the difference in salary by position selected is not all that great.

Bill, I won't believe it is motivated by selling tickets until you (or anyone else) find one person that will say he wasn't buying tickets before, but will to see Spiller. I'm not sure that person exists.
Now, if Spiller improves the offense to the point where they start winning games because of him, and that sells tickets, how can you fault that?
-
Please show up again before tomorrow's picks.
-
Yes, lets stockpile third-round picks so that we can get more solid foundational players like Trent Edwards, Ashton Youboty, and Chris Ellis
No strategy is better than any other. You just have to execute it.

But it rose again!
For shame, Lori.

Conversely, what would Big Ben have become with Jauron as his QB?
(That was a rhetorical question - we all know the answer - An obscure rapist!)
Who says we ever would have moved on from Donahoe/Mularkey?
-
All I can say is that I hope the Bills don't know who they're going to get at 9. Because if they did, then they're drafting someone who they know has no shot of going in the top 8.

1. He was not such a good QB guru in Tampa.
2. What if he says the only good QB in the draft is Bradford?

Anyone want to let us know who he has us taking?
-
You seriously want this guy doing this crap in Buffalo
FWIW, he did this crap in Georgia and Nevada - not Pittsburgh.

Tom Modrak has never traded up in his history. He doesn't make the calls.

No, I'm talking about stadiums that had horrid sight lines, lack of amenities, and just plan lacked character. The problem with multi-purpose stadiums is that for one sport you'll not be centered on the action. Take the Kingdome for example, the stadium's sightlines were centered on the 50 yard like for football, which is good, but when you played baseball in there, the action would be off to the left or right of center depending on where you sat. You ended up twisting one way or the other to get a good comfortable view.
I appreciate that the stadiums are better. But the Metrodome was built for $68 mil, which is about $162 mil in today's dollars. Meanwhile, Target Field cost $545 mil and the Vikings want a new stadium for $870 mil.

Great Shots Fez, looks like a gorgeous ball park. I truly believe we are in the platinum age of building athletic facilities. Finally getting away from atrocities such as the Kingdome, Three Rivers, and such.
You mean buildings built with price in mind?

It's interesting that the projections for this year are very low overall. It'd be nice to see where the 2008 guys were projected, when Gholston and Derrick Harvey were the first two pass rushers off the board.
Is Bell expected back by minicamp?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but if Chris Brown is saying that the Bills may make a move for a new LT after an assessment of the players at minicamp, and Bell is expected to be the starter, then doesn't it follow Bell will be there practicing? Either that, or Bell isn't expected to start, and they'll make a decision based on how others perform...
