  1. First, are you suppose to take free agency into account? If so, I think we need to replace Crowell through FA next offseason, as I foresee us looking to enter next season as a serious contnedor, meaning no longer looking for rookies to start immediately. And OLB will be key position to upgrade.

After that, we need to build solid depth on in the interior of our offensive line. So a top-tier center would be great or even a monster guard.

We'll have extended Evans by then, so too much dough will be tied up in our WRs to draft another one high. Plus, Hardy will be coming into his own by year's end, hopefully.

I really like Derek Fine, and the coaches really like the other Derek, so I don't think they'll take a tight end in the first, even if there is a TE worth a 1st round pick.

Another DT will be needed, especially if the reports of shopping McCargo are true, and I think they are.

We just spend a t 3rd on Ellis, and I think he is going to becoming a good player, so this has to be a position addressed late if at all.

We need depth at safety, but I think we have our starting duo in place for the forseeeable future.

    I'd go with:

    1. OLB

    2. C/G

    3. C/G

    4. DT

    5. TE

    6. S

    7. OLB

I agree with you to a point. LB is one position where guys have traditionally come in and been able to play very well as rookies. That said, Derek Fine is an H-Back, so I do see a need there, though Royal seems to be acquitting himself nicely in the passing game. We could use help on the inside of the line © as well as greater depth there. I do agree with what another posted pointed out- that our DEs, while a decent enough unit, are starting to get a little long in the tooth. Let's not forget that next year is a GREAT draft for LBs, so I see us going there in Rd 1 with Crowell gone.

    Round 1: LB

    Round 2: TE

    Round 3: OL

    Round 4: DE

    Round 5: DT

    Round 6: QB

    Round 7: S

  2. Robert Gallery might not be a Pro Bowl, have him for 12 years at LT kind of guy, but he's a starting lineman in this league. Mike Williams can't even make an NFL roster. There's a HUGE difference.

Gallery now plays guard. You know a lot of guards who make 10M a year and get drafted top 5?

  3. I bought an authentic Whitner throwback size 52 thinking it would fit like an XL, it does NOT. I HAVE to wear a sweater underneath in order for it to not fit all baggy. One thing i would note is that these jerseys do have a lycra type stretch material down the side, so if you were to err, I would go smaller.

  4. Channing Crowder would be a good replacement for Crowell. Probably an upgrade actually. I don't see Tuna, as the "Big Cahuna" in Miami, letting the guy walk though. I think he'll be extended before the year is out. Vilma is a MLB and could give us the opportunity to move Poz to the ROLB position. Don't know if that would be a good place for Poz really.

Now this right here is the list we should really be focused on. The list of LB's coming up in this year's draft potentially:

    Inside Linebacker

    James Laurinaitis, Ohio St

    Rey Maualuga, USC

    Brandon Spikes, Florida, Jr.

    Darryl Beckwith, LSU

    Jasper Brinkley, South Carolina

    Scott McKillop, Pitt

    Worrell Williams, Cal

    Dave Philistin, Maryland

    Ronnie Palmer, Arizona

    Daniel Holtzclaw, Eastern Michigan

    Outside Linebacker

    Brian Cushing, USC

    Marcus Freeman, Ohio St.

    Aaron Curry, Wake Forest

    Gerald McRath, Southern Miss, Jr.

    Sean Weatherspoon, Missouri, Jr.

    Tyrone McKenzie, South Florida

    Zach Follett, Cal

    Jonathan Casillas, Wisconsin

    Anthony Felder, Cal

    Anthony Heygood, Purdue

Thank you. I think it's safe to assume we will draft a LB in the 1st. With the sick talent coming out this year. I' not too worried about the position next year.

  5. Maybe but this was an ambush Angelo should have had this done weeks or months ago.

They would go into the season with a LB's that are not totally healed Corto, Digi and Poz have all been nicked.

Poz has been fragile the last 3 years.

They could not afford injuries at this position

If it really was a chronic injury, then he should have had it scoped in the early offseason. Even if he missed OTAs and training camp he would have come in as a starter. It's not like the situation on offense where a new scheme is being installed, it's the same scheme. Basically it seems like he is just getting ready and healed up for his next team.

  6. I'm sick of this garbage, Peters is a moron for not reporting and even when he reports I will not be a fan, just as I am not a fan of Mickey, AKA Mrs. Peters. If and when Peters reports he will do so without the benefit of being in shape, having a working knowledge of our new offense, or time to establish a better bond with his linemates at a position where you rely on the guy next to you in order to do your job. Lee Evans could stand to make more cash, but he reported and did his job. Newsflash, when you sabotage your own success by not practicing, you also decrease your market value. Let's see Peters make a Pro Bowl this year without the benefit of the offseason. Let him sit his @ss down at home and rot for the next 3 years. I'm sure tons of teams will look forward to signing a me-first player who has dissed his team and sat out for a season.

  7. Thanks for the link, but I hate almost every one of those "experts". I DID like this bit, which I wasn't aware of

P Brian Moorman. If the Bills were to hold an intra-squad decathlon, Moorman would be the favorite. He was an eight-time All-American in track and field at Pittsburg State and was inducted into the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division II Hall of Fame. He won three national titles in the 400-meter hurdles. Moorman's speed and passing ability keeps coverage units honest.

  8. Personally, Tony Dungy never ceases to impress me. Truely inspirational demeanor. IMO, he single handedly made all the clamor of black head coaches dissolve away into history. I think he's the most credible and best face of the modern day NFL.

I give full credence to any opinion he offers regarding anything NFL related. As such, I take his comments about the Bills as a warning to every team on our schedule not to take the Bills lightly.

    Just my opinion.

    Ditto. He's a class act
