  1. Do you think any of the other 31 NFL front offices really believe that the Bills are comfortable going into the season with Walker/Chambers/Bell playing the tackle positions?

I don't think any team in the league understands why we do half the things we do. If they would care to follow our lead, they could all have losing records though.

  2. To me they have not done a bad job so far this offseason..

    1. TO...nuff said

    2. Starting Center in Hangartner

    3. Backup QB to replace J.P. who got plenty of playing time last year..ask TJ Houshmandzadah

    4. Increased the interest in the Bills by fans and national media and sold some tickets in the process

So far so good. I have to give the GM Brandon some love so far

If they sign Peters, and I think they will before training camp starts, this will be a pretty good offseason

Plus we have the draft next month to upgrade the D-line , TE and O-line.

Cant wait for the draft.....the real way to upgrade your team

Ummm, no. This offseason has done nothing much to improve a team that crumbled last year due to terrible blocking and an anemic pass rush. We have holes at LG, WLB, DE (take your pick, Schobel is done), and TE. We have done virtually nothing to help our team. See how much love TO gives the offense when the OL can't give Edwards enough time to take a five step drop. You can't go into the draft knowing you NEED 3 starters. The offseason is an unmitigated disaster. I won't give Brandon anything other than a swift kick in the pants. We need to pick up at LEAST 1 starter in FA. That could be at LG or LB, but we are still going to need a DE and TE in the draft that can start.

  3. I don't really agree with this at all, but I do agree that 365 should be off of the website. Just call it what it is.....the articles are garbage because they are largely based on opinion and guesses with absolutely NO SOURCES. The guys who write for that site are no more qualified, and many times less informed than people who post on here. And they aren't comparable to Jerry Sullivan, etc, because Jerry is with a reputable daily that is connected to the Bills in a roundabout way.

My actual favorite part of TBD is the front page because I get all my Bills news on a daily basis there. Then I tread over here sometimes to get entertained. Sometimes you log on to TBD and get excited because you see a news headline that gets the blood going about the Bills, only to find out that it is a glorified blogger stating opinion based on best guesses from someone with a glorified website. They have no sources. They have no more information than anyone on this message board has, yet their headlines can make you believe something big is brewing for the Bills. Connor Byrne was the same way. It's not how good they write, but everything they say has no more value than a post on a message board, because they have no legit sources or ways to get inside info. I actually could care less if they are positive or negative.

It's absolutely garbage that this "news" source is on the front page.

Exactly. Bialy writes NO NEWS. He conducts no interviews. He simply writes his own opinion in self-indulgent prose. I wish BillsBeat would take a stand against linking to bloggers.

  4. Wow, that's a smarmy article. Look, of course it's unlikely anyone will make a mock draft that's more than 20-30% accurate. That doesn't mean they're worthless, it just means that the draft is complicated. If experts are swinging at 20%, that doesn't mean they're not experts. It means that there are well over 5 options for each pick, and they're beating random chance. And there's also more to a mock than individual picks. You want to give readers a sense of team needs, and the relative rankings by position of each player.

They also go brag about their stupid monkey making picks, when the monkey's not really choosing names randomly, he's just randomizing the consensus picks. If the experts reach a consensus on the top 15 players to go in the draft, then they've done something that you couldn't do on your own.

Actually, I would say it shows that they are NOT experts in the draft. They are experts at evaluating college talent. Draft experts do not exist.

  5. I dunno how many of you watched the video on bb.com, but DJ says they brought in those FA LBs to get to know them and lay a foundation in case they tried to sign them later. Can someone explain to me why the heck would you bring them in if your intention wasn't to sign them in the first place? There is no guarantee they will even be around by the time the Bills decided to grace them with an offer.

  6. Mort on sportscenter says despite what you have heard and read Jauron would not be the guy who wanted this to happen.

I think he may have gone along with it because his ass is on the line but it smacks of Ralph and Russ to me. Also, Rochester media seam to have sources who also confirm this but if you want give some credit to Dick he needs all the help he can get.

I trust Mort as much as your average crackhead. He's an @ss
