Wish him the best. He was a good guy and played his hardest for us

I dont think floyd is top 10 talent in this draft. There really isnt a standout player to me this year after pick 7. AFter that they are all in the 16-25 range. Go watch some route running of floyd on you tube and he doesnt get any seperation from the db. That is one big problem i think in my eyes. Yea he can win the jump ball but do you want your reciever fighting for the ball everytime thrown to him. I would rather wait until the 2nd round to get the likes of jeffery, randel or if a bill fan can hope...I really like stephan hill in the second.
You have very low football IQ then. I watched every snap of every game he played and he got separation from the best cbs they played, though he was often facing doubles. You watched the combine on NFL network and fell in love with a workout warrior with 0 college production.

Probably makes sense for him to wait until draft is over. If Bills draft an LT at #10, Bell will be a back-up.
I think the point is, if he re-signs we know he's a placeholder for Hairston because no one believes Bell can stay healthy for a whole season. I'd love it if Hairston could step p and start for us, but I doubt he's ready this year. That said, what player in the draft are plug and play starters from day 1? Because I don't see anyone other than Kalil. If that's the case, we should just sign a vet to start in front of Hairston for a year. Nix believes there are starters in the draft, but I dunno if he extends that meaning to instant starters. Mayock thinks Reiff could be an LT after 2-3 years playing RT. If that's the case and we're not getting Kalil, I'd rather just go LB/CB/WR in the 1st and draft someone in the 3rd to challenge Hairston.

Why? Just...why?

I wanted to hear this interview, but it's already only available to paid subscribers? That sucks. I've heard of charging for older archives, but not something that happened today. Anyone have the audio?

Here's the math -
The Bills have visits scheduled with 30 draft-eligible players, plus local prospects; the Bills have 10 draft picks...
Every year, roughly 2 or 3 of the draft-eligible players that visit OBD are drafted by the Bills, the other 27+ are not.
Just sayin' I don't think a visit by anyone to OBD is any sure indicator that means Buddy means to trade up.
(FYI - Cam Newton visited last year.)
That said, Blackmon is a great steal for the Bills if he falls to the #10-spot!
And hey, anything can happen on draft day...
GO BILLSSS!!!!
19 and 0 baby!!!!!

So, your assessment of this "crazy" talent is based on your assumption that Floyd and Sanu are capable of being top WRs in the NFL.
Based only on what I've read (there is possibility of significant error here), I think Floyd is a VERY risky pick in round one and is not
guaranteed to be a top WR. While I like what I've read about Sanu and I am encouraged by his better-than-expected 40 times in his
recent pro-day, he only averaged a very pedestrian 10ypc in the stinking Big-East. MAYBE that was because his QB was bad or due to
limitations on their OL, but it raises concerns with me. James Hardy had tons of catches in the Big 10 - a much better conference than
Big East, and he flamed out despite having better size, too.
And what have you read? Did you bother to look at his stats, or watch a single game tape? He's as dominant a receiver as I've seen at the college level

Corey Chavous- DraftNasty. The best there is.

That's kind of clever, actually. I really like the play on the bills thing. Repo Men? Collections?
I like Repo Men

I agree with this - IF Kalil slips a little, I would love the idea of the Bills giving up a little to move up and get him.
The latest from the (generally brainless) NFLN crew is that they think the Vikings will take Blackmon which could well cause Kalil to slip as the next few teams are set at OLT. If I remember correctly, Mayock was part of this "Kalil may slip" discussion, therefore I don't dimiss it entirely.
What would it take to move up from 10 to say 6?
A different GM

McShay further cements his position as the heir-apparent to Kiper, by consistently sucking at his job the way Mel has for years.
The only 2 people I ever listen to when they talk about the draft are Corey Chavous and Mayock.

Go back and pray to your Michael Floyd posters
So, let me get this straight, since you didn't actually articulate a position. Did you want me to apologize for where I went to school, the fact that I like Floyd, or the fact that I believe the OP is dredging up the topic for the 100th time on this board despite the fact that nix has repeatedly stated we're not in the business of trading up? Please, you must clear this up for me. I am devastated to not have earned the admiration of a troll such as yourself.
-
It is probably unlikely, but if the Vikings pass on Kalil, the Bills should try to trade up. If I was Nix, and Kalil slid past the Vikes, I would try to trade our 1st and a 4th round pick to move up. (We have two 4th round picks.)
Kalil is the only OT that warrants going in the top 15. The other offensive tackles are a reach at the 10th pick.
My days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle

If Kalil gets past the Vikings trade up and get him.
PLEASE stop this drivel!

@adamschefter- Breaking news! Bills will draft Dareus with the 3rd pick in the draft. Last year.
-
Wait... You can trade up?!! Why has no one on this board called for us to do that?! Or to trade for Tebow?! Or to sign over the hill free agents with name recognition?!
-
At least he's not obsessed with Jerry Sullivan like some of you are... it borders on creepy sometimes.
Not obsessed, I simply loathe him and relish any opportunity to express that loathing.

Says the guy who likes the drunken mess kid. You call Floyd a freak, the only thing freakish is how stupid he is. Floyd will be a big bust because he's someone who's out of control before he gets his first big check. I don't care what he says, He wouldn't be on my board.
Stephen Hill is going within the first 20 picks and he WILL be picked before Floyd. Lock it in.
As for Hill not proving anything 29.3 yards per catch blows away Floyd's 11.5. That kind of deep threat translates VERY well to the NFL game.
1bills what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Its 2012 if you don't understand the Mock draft community, you never will.
Just think of it as cross dressing, you just don't get it. Or if you are a cross dresser think of it as not cross dressing.
Draftek doesn't have this problem.
This post made no sense whatsoever. Drafttek is supposed to be a "different kind of mock" that projects value as opposed to simply likely destination. I'm saying the premise of the site is flawed.

Do you remember a guy named Mike Williams?
Yuck Cordy Glenn

I don't want a T in the 1st because of the scar I still have from Williams. Though I suppose if I held to that logic I wouldn't want us to draft any position we drafted in the 1st before Chix.
-
But, I've heard of him! What about Richardson, he would give us a three headed monster at RB!
-
Astro. I know you put a lot of time into that site and I really want to support it. I just don't "get" the premise of the site. You rank players according to perceived "value." But you're not privy to what pro staffs have actually ranked the players. I mean, if you got a look at teams' draft boards after the draft and then made assumptions based off of that, I'd be with you. But unless you have a value on someone from an actual NFL team, the site is pure speculation. It is impossible to call someone a "reach" if he's taken at any pick because you think he should be taken lower, because you don't know where pro teams had him ranked. You had Cam Newton as a -9 reach and Aldon Smith as a -10 reach. Show me where you got that. Because your "big board" is pure speculation and in this case, was not only wrong on where they would get picked, but how they performed.

We've drafted players who we never talked to or visited before, so... no.

We waste our 1st rounder on a guard? The rest of the draft sounds like you just picked the guys you've heard of. Pass
