  1. I can say this is one of the few times I can actually agree with Jerry Sullivan in saying Dareus has overstayed his welcome. For me, yes he is a former 1st rounder, a former probowler (by default) but he is not reliable and is spotty in both his play on the field and his acts off the field. Wanted a fan opinion poll as to should he stay or should he go?

This is the same "salty old man" ridiculous thinking that ran Lynch out of town. Get some perspective, dismount from your high horse and remove the white knight cape. The guy likes to drive fast and is one of a majority of players in the NFL who smoke weed. Kindly stow your better than thou attitude.

  2. Been telling you guys this. Mary Wilson does not want the team this was made clear years ago. Ralphs will said to sell it ASAP based on league rules, that has been known (and apparently ignored) as well. Now for the final part fans ignore, an owner CAN Move the bills and pretty much ignore the 400 mill fine. No Court will ever force a person or business to be a tenant. AND WNY must prove to a court they suffered 400 million in damages and they will never be able to. Now a new owner may keep the team here, but fans need to quit wishing and start dealing in facts.

Nice try. No one is forcing anyone to be a tenant. The contract doesn't force anyone to do anything it simply requires payment for voiding the contract. That clause in an of itself makes it possible for the lease to be broken, but a new owner doesn't have a right to do it for free.

  3. I just don't see the appeal of this, especially in the US. Who wants to watch this? History has repeatedly said "few people".

It could be argued the talent currently in the NFL is already diluted. Who would want to watch a league of guys who couldn't make it into the League?

The point would be to act as a farm system for the NFL much in the way that baseball has. Some players need more time to develop than others. Some smaller school players specifically could really benefit from an intermediate step up before being able to make it in an NFL roster. Personally, I believe a minor league system would really raise the average quality of players on an NFL roster. Maybe not on the top end, but definitely the bottom.

I would normally see this as a bright spot in ANOTHER crap season, but we have the same clowns picking players so even that is a downer. I would say tank the rest of the season for the #3-4 pick, but what would it matter. These clowns will screw it up.

And you KNOW what is going to happen right? Manzel comes out and is #1 and there will still be 2-3 NFL ready type QB's (unlike EJ who had no business being picked in the first) and Buffalo will bypass them because they have EJ.

And why not? isn't that how it normally goes for the Bills fans?

Hey genius. We drafted the DROY in the 2nd round and picked up 2 starting wrs. That's probably the best draft of 2013.

  5. resigning byrd would be a statement of commitment to win. i'd pull out all the stops to get it done. bills fo likely won't even try. chandler should go. no way he's worth that money. moats is likely gone. branch should get paid. lewis should stay as should carpenter, moorman, choice and summers. guess i never realized the league minimum was so low. couldn't see literally risking my neck for that. finally, leonard probably gets resigned since byrd won't be.

Did you see that loss yesterday? I wouldn't re-sign if I were him. You get a limited window in the NFL to play at a high level and win trophies. He's not getting any hardware in Buffalo. I actually feel sorry for good players who are forced to spend their careers here now.
