  1. "Why so serious"

    "Happy New Years"

why work out in the off season.

making fun of war and bombing an American city.

This is all fun and funny if you are winning. But Stevie you have proven to be a mediocre reciever an on a very poor team. How bout positng something that is not controversial and good for the team. How bout being a leader (you are certainly overcompensated for it).

It will be interesting to see if Marrone actually has the testicals to deal with this jackass. Again, as long as this guy is on the team they will be under .500.

And btw the tweet is a subtle admission that you (Stevie) feel that this team cannot beat the Pats- what a funny boy- "why so serious", because year after year we support this team and the team fails to deliver. So yes, you should be serious and you should understand that if you were on most other teams your behavior would not be tolerated. Seriously, what a loser this guy is.

Just figured out where I know you from. You're "that guy."

    You know... that guy who writes up his neighbors to the hoa for skipping a week cutting their grass;

That guy who complains that coworkers are talking too loudly on their break.

In high school you were a hall monitor and in college campus police. The tweet may or may not have been funny but you just had to pontificate. Thanks for your opinion "that guy"

  2. haha so funny. what a moron. now i know why nobody wants to sign him.

i have a joke for you, barnett: your NFL career is over. actually, it's not a joke...

pffffttttt...The sound of the last of credibility being released from Nick Barnett's NFL career.

You two must be real treats to hang out with on an average day. What a couple of whiners. 'MMMMMwaaaa someone made a funny and it made me sad."

  3. As I've said a few times this offseason, it seems like the Bills are being very disciplined about appraising players and sticking to their appraisals. Players will come to Buffalo to play under the Bills terms or not at all. It doesn't look like the Bills are willing to "throw in another $300-400,000 to get deals done.

I think it's clear that the Bills are conducting things very differently this offseason on several fronts, another area being how tight-lipped and secretive they've been since the reorganization.

Anyways, my view is that the Bills are being very disciplined.

Here's the problem with that: there's no reason for a player coveted by any other team to sign with us absent overspending. They're not going to line up at the door to catch passes from unnamed rookie or Tavaris Jackson and we're not attracting anyone who is looking to come play for a winner. So while I understand the notion that the "disciplined spending" route is better in the long run, it is frustrating to sit here knowing we're restarting the rebuilding process yet again and we won't be competitive for at least 3 years. Oh and we have no idea whether Marrone will be even a halfway decent coach, but we know it will take at least 2 years to determine that, so come 2015 we could be doing this all over again.

  4. From the way we simply announced a press conference to sign Lawson I think it's clear they have been trying to land free agents since free agency started, just quite unsuccessfully. Players on offense won't sign until we have a QB unless we overpay and it looks like we're not going to. I dunno why D players aren't signing, other than the obvious small town, cold climate, terrible team argument. The Davis negotiations became public most likely because he was using us and hoping to get a higher offer from the redskins before re-signing. In this case silence isn't golden, I think its a clear indication we are failing at attracting anyone.

  5. Buddy Nix locked the Bills into needing to draft a QB this draft. HIs handling of the QB situation warrants immediate dismissal. Even desperate Bills homers who only go to games as an excuse to get drunk during early hours will be hard to buy into Tarvaris Jackson, Aaron Corp and some backup FA.

I agree wholeheartedly. Making a statement like that carries the stench of fan appeasement and trying to keep his job. What it does NOT do is further the mission of this team, which is to win.

  6. As many here, I've been racking what little is left of my brain cells to try and figure out ANY possible reason why we have been so quiet in FA, especially in a FA market that seems reasonably priced right now. The only thing I can come up with is that Nix and Co are leaving so many holes on our team come draft time that teams looking to move up could possibly target the Bills since we have so many directions we can go with our 8th and 41st pick. Think about it for a second; yes, tis true that we all know that Nix is going to select a QB in one of our first two picks, but perhaps outsiders give Buddy more credit. We could theoretically select a G, TE, WR, DE, DT almost anyone will be there for us at the 8th pick, so teams like San Fran or the Vikings if they really, really want someone could see the Bills as a willing trading partner. If we start filling holes in FA, it becomes more transparent to the rest of the league how the Bills will approach the draft, and what little leverage we have is really only left when you factor in that we need almost anyone at BPA at our 8th pick, and teams will start to get antsy as the pressure mounts.

ANyone else have any other ideas why we are so lethargic this FA when, lets face it, FA are signing deals that are not out of this world.

    Tim-

I was hoping this is a joke, then I saw you defend your "point."

Biddy already said some of the people we want have scheduled visits elsewhere and several of them signed during those visits. It is clear that yes, we are approaching FAs and that we have not been able to sign any of them, so we don't publicize to avoid the embarassment.

  7. Ok dude check this s..t out... I clearly f...in named the title wrong... Here's an example for you... Your mother can clearly be a teacher and then be a stripper at night right? A person who calls himself defensewinzchampionshipz has nothing to do with anything else... Wat the !@#$ is your point?

Here's another stat for you... You put Mr. Weo and myself to fight a thousand times, I go 999-1000... The only win he gets is because I kneel on the floor and tap out on the last fight and pray to God to not let this man suffer anymore...

So, we can confirm you in fact know nothing about statistics or analogies. At this point I am shocked you spelled statistics right in the title, as you seem to be regressing with every post. It's like you're the Benjamin Button of logic.

  8. I love to bust chops as much as most and more than some in these parts, but what a difference a year makes.

Last year at this time everyone was like a lab rat on crack pushing F5 every ten seconds. This year, crickets.

I think the older crowd here understands the basics of what's going on at OBD now. But the hotpockets crowd and the chronic naysayers and disbelievers will never shut up until they see the baby. Then, they'll be among the best fans The Bills have EVER had - just ask 'em.

You know I'm sick to death of all you sanctimonious old guys who walk around like you define class and what it means to be whatever. The "younger" crowd still sticks with the team as much as you old guys. Stop acting like you have the monopoly on fandom. Some people complain, some people drink koolaid, others lurk and some post platitudes, they're all just as valid a group as any other. So quit acting like you're better than anyone else just cause you're going to kick the bucket sooner.

  9. I wish I could argue with you but I don't have too much in the way of supporting evidence.

+1. The problem between fans and the organization is that trust is earned. The owner and string of GMs haven't done anything in the past 13 years to show they deserve our trust. So, rather than trust that "they have a plan" as many of you suggest, we just assume they're screwing the pooch again. It's difficult at this point to believe there is a plan, especially when Gibson fits the bill for an up and coming WR and we have almost no legit WRs on the roster and we don't even kick his tires.
