Buffalo Getting Old, Besides Being Bad.
Stussy109 replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totoally agree on the Milloy pick-up in 2003. Yes he was on the supposed "downside" of his career, however he was a huge upgrade over what we had/did not have, aka Coy Wire. With Coy Wire at SS, we never would have had our dominant defenses of 03 and 04... Also, what team in the NFL is not "rebuilding" as you say, their is roster tunrover every-year. People make too much hype out of nothing. We just gotta get our guys to give 99% on every single play, and 100% when it's 4th and 1. Play like every play is your last, and like you're gifted to be on the field. -
Thank you... pretty interesting. I had Izell Reese as a neighbor last year and never thought to ask him about players checking this stuff out. Duh. Barry Brady is a quality name...Fake fat sunny if i recall from memory talks pretty frequently.

Antoine earned his paycheck for his runstopping abilities in addition to his cover skills. I miss his hardnosed tackles in run support.

DOes nayone legitmately know of current or past players frequenting this message board? Just curious if we have any active player members, or players who scope it out. I would imagine from a busines point of view Donahoe, and possibly Mularkey would visit this board to gauge an interest of their "market." Get an idea of how the fans feel.

Buffalo Getting Old, Besides Being Bad.

I'm going to venture out and guess that we have the highest paid starting safeties in the league. Vincent is getting top tier corner pay, whereas Milloy is getting top tier Strong Saftey Pay. With both of our corners requiring extensions & big money, The safety position will have less money allocated to them. Either Vincent or Milloy gets shipped out or major paycut. -
too bad the Bills can't come out and play like it's the opening drive on offense, the whole game...

Thanks a bunch!

Looks like Peters might start at RT
Stussy109 replied to RuntheDamnBall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What he really really is, is an atheltic 300+lb NFL player, willing to learn any position. -
Ummmm... the pats are 3-3, they also lost to the dolphins of 2004. Ouit the brady knob schlobbin.

The thing we all fail to remember is that this is a BUSINESS. If the bills get into a playoff game, that's that much more $$$ for Ralph from ticket sales, food sales, jerseys etc... Keep that in mind, TD is generating $$$ for Ralph which is what his whole position is about.

Anybody read the Q&A session with TD
Stussy109 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure the guy is just as frustrated as we are with this team. Don't think he's not. It's no different than a car salesman not meeting his quota's year in and year out. ONly differenc eis, that guy would have been fired by now. However how many people can step up to fill TD's shoes? -
Who's To Blame for the Offense's Inability
Stussy109 replied to smuvtalker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Holcomb pretty much called out the O-line in the most politically correct way possible by saying he didn't have time to throw it. TD has call out the O-line by calling out the pass protection as inconsistent. I don't know how many other ways you can nicely say we're getting mauled up front. -
It's a long term future Pick. Perhaps signaling the release of Moulds after this season or the next. The skill players of the future: Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish, Josh Reed, Kevin Everett. This draft expect to see the Bills draft for the trenches with the depth at the skill positions. However if we lose Nate Clements to FA, we'll take a corner rd. 1.

MLB Free Agents available in Offseason?
Stussy109 replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sub Par DT's make the MLB ineffective no matter who it is. -
We're the botards who called all of our time outs. So they stuck it to us

Losman should start Sunday night...
Stussy109 replied to smuvtalker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOSMAN is the better QB. I don't care about stats, or comparing game performances. JP is the better QB and gives us a better chance to win...I'm riding th JP choo choo train into an 8-8 season. Also the Pats D aint what it used to be. Who's Randall gay? I feel JP can exploit the secondary moreso than Holcomb can, and that right now is the Patriots weak link. -
I'd like to have an intelligent Bills conversation
Stussy109 replied to Smoker2Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BAD DEFENSE NOTES: 1) Something I noticed and had suspected for several weeks now. We have two of the worst run support/ and worst tackling safeties in the league. Milloy who is normally solid against the run has been playing lame with a bad wrist. Granted he's still better than a healthy Coy Wire, but can't wrap up on his own. 2nd Troy Vincent doesn't hesitate to lay the big hit on a defenseless receiver in the air, however, I've seen him be very very shy when it comes to tackling a big runner coming at him full steam. I can understand his mental position, "I'm 33, I want to have a healthy couple more years before I throw in the towel, whats the point of stopping this guy 5 yards short when they're going to run it down our throats again on the ensuing play." 2) Our interior D-line is outright weak. Need to find a free agent/solid draft pick. Tim Anderson and Justin bannan are not the answer. 3) Jerry Gray week in and week out brings blitz packages that do not work. Our guys NEVER get to the QB. Our Blitz package and the threat of a blitz doesn't scare any offensive line with the exception of Houston. 4) Our defense lost its nastiness with the loss of spikes. Nobody gets pumped up, everybody plays flat. I wouldn't mind seeing Ryan Denney in at DT here and there. lets see what the guy can do, as it is right now, NOBODY can shed a block. The guy had 2 sacks last week with minimal play, get him some playing time. Get SAPE OFF THE GODDANG field. SAPE woulnd't be on most NFL rosters. 5) The team ought to be running tackling drills all week. LOSMAN: I've seen what Holcomb can bring to the table. He brings an Alex Van Pelt like approach to the game. He's definitely a field general... However he's a field general without the supporting fire power. Hence he can only take you so far. He has a limp noodle for an arm. His accuracy is suspect past 10yards. Bring in the young buck again. New England will gameplan our vanilla offense with ease. I'd be shocked if we put up more than 10pts next week with Holcomb at the reigns... I personally was rooting for JP to come in when we were flat towards the end of the 3rd qurter, to provide that "spark" that Mularkey looked for from Holcomb in the first 4 games. I'd rather see the gunslinger firing away downfield with a mistake or two, than a wimpy dink and dunker chipping away 4 yards at a time. Just my opinion. -
Interpreted wrong...Should read 3 for 3 on my predictions (3/3) Here's a link to last week, pretty much right on the money. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=32818&hl=

Help choosing tickets for my first bills game
Stussy109 replied to love my bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depends on what you prioritize. Lower rows like 1-5 are great for being close to the palyers, seeing interaction b/w coaches and players etc... however for viewing the field and the development of plays, row 32 is better. If you're interested i have some family zone and rockpile tickets left for that game. PM me if interested. -
Buffalo-23 Holcomb 1 TD, 207yrds 1INT Josh Reed 1 TD Lee Evans 87yrds Willis McGahee 1 td 129yards Moulds has a couple key drops hence resulting in.... Rian Lindell's 3 FG's Oakland-13 Kerry Collins 0 TD, 2 INT's 270yrds Lamont Jordan 97yards 0TD's 1 fumble Zack Crockett 1TD Sebastian Janikowski 2 FG's Willis looks like a beast, Collins shows his decline, Oakland comes out looking like a team in shame. Buffalo plays better than the score shows. We fumble either a kick or punt return....

Willis talks a little birthday smack
Stussy109 replied to granitestatebillsbackers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
---3. However, I was more than a little annoyed to read this. The Bills need to eat their cheeseburgers, go into the "Black Hole" (ha), be very business-like and take apart the Raiders. Period. Then get back on the damned plane, take a day off and prepare for the Patriots. They DO NOT need to give the Raiders D--which admittedly is not very good--a rallying point to kick their asses. This does not matter to me. If Mike Tyson from the street tells Brian Moorman they're the best damn street fighter period, is Brian Moorman going to be able to beat his arsse because he's more motivated? -
You do not get HD without the receiver. the difference between the two is the difference b/w a new LCD computer monitor compared to the computer monitors of the early 90's. Its super clear, you can see the blades of grass on the field. More Dots per inch.
