  1. Give up .... The "Get Drew out of there bunch" only sees what they want ... Ever INT is the QB's fault ... not the line giving the QB no time ... not the WR turning teh wrong way or reading the defense wrong ... sure QB's throw bad passes .. but he sure has trown some ropes across the field right to his man ... Go Drew ! Defense playing well also !
  2. 17/25 and 198 yards ... 2 ints and 1 td ... and 1 sack thanks to a lineman getting beat bad ... Still take Drew over anyone else we have .... Willis is 13/40 yards ... must be about time to say he is a bust .. and needs to be traded ... What a tough bunch of "fans" We should be happy its 17-3 ... Bills look like all parts of the team came to play !
  3. Then get someone who can block ... his sack was due to the blocker getting TOTALLY beat .. or is that Drews fault also???
  4. When they win the game .. will not mean much ... More worried about having a RB by the end of a game .. Helps when the receivers are managing to hand on to the ball for once ... Bledsoe is better than any other QB they have ... if you think rookie's are that great ... watch the Giants game today
  5. Bills have had only one 100 yard rusher ... and it lead to a blowout ... so if they hold Alexander to less than 85 .. score will be close. Special teams have been VERY special .. can they do it again?? Based on http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teameff.php These are the Football Outsiders team efficiency ratings for 2004, measured by our proprietary Value Over Average (VOA) system that breaks down every single play and compares a team's performance to the league averaged based on situation in order to determine value over average. (Explained further here.) OFFENSE and DEFENSE DVOA are adjusted based on strength of opponent as well as to consider all fumbles, kept or lost, as equal value. SPECIAL DVOA is adjusted for type of stadium (warm, cold, dome, Denver) and week of season. NON-ADJ TOTAL VOA does not include these adjustments. As always, positive numbers represent more points so DEFENSE is better when it is NEGATIVE. Buffalo is #28 in offense, #5 in defense and #1 on special teams Seattle is #19 in offense, #8 in defense and #27 in special teams Special teams could be the difference. So if they hold Alexander under 85 and special teams outscores theirs by at least 7 points ... Buffalo 17, seattle 14 ... if not Seattle 24, Buffalo 10

Police are looking for a blow-up figure of SpongeBob SquarePants swiped from a Minnesota Burger King. They've found a ransom note which starts off: "We have SpongeBob." It then demands, "Give us ten Crabby Patties, fries and milkshakes." The ransom note is signed by SpongeBob's nemesis, Plankton. A postscript reads: "Patrick is next," referring to the Bermuda shorts-wearing starfish that serves as SpongeBob's sidekick. At a southeastern Utah Burger King, vandals made off with a 10-foot-tall SpongeBob balloon. 8. My take on what I saw happen ... Saw Ben Wallace get fouled ... not a dirty foul .. just a foul .. now it was Ron Artest ... and I am sure Ben took that as a challange ... because as we know .. "real" man have to get respect ... and that means don't do as i do ... so he walks up and grabs Artests throut and shoves him ... At this point .. Artest gets grabbed by a ref ... and dosen't fight ... his only good move of the evening, Ben Wallace goes off ... and continues it .. working the fans up .. throws his sweatband ... as far as I could tell was acting like a TOTAL idiot and that just helped to get the drunken idiots to pitch in ... That is why I thought he deserved A LOT more than 6 games ... 30 seems about right ... Then it really got bad .... Artest charges the stand ... and Jackson follows ... not to get Artest out ... but to just swing away ... would have given hime the same 72 games off as Artest. Then we have O'neil ... another bright bulb .. or should I say Boob ... also attacking people ... his only defense is that it was on the floor .. but still .. does he think he is a cop? Whos to fault .... In no order ... Beer sales ... been to a Bills game lately ... beer is a MAJOR cause of the fans being butt heads Wallace .. totally over reacted Artest ... he is one step from being in prision O'Neil ... just plan stupid move Jackson ... no idea what he is thinking ... but whatever it is its scary !!! The media .... we get to see the "15 minutes" of fame .. or is it shame .. of about 30 people ... and believe me .. some of these nuts would do it again .. *see Jerry Springer !* What should they do ... both baseball and basketball have the fans to close ... there need to be a shelter the teams are in .. something they can be in that keeps them safe and away from the insults Security needs to improve ... someone is harrasing the players .. he gets pointed out and ejected ... right away No beer sales ... or at least after half time ... Players ... u swing ... 1o games ... u hit someone ... 20 games ... u hit a fan in the stand ... the season ... period ... fan hits a player ... arrested ... Do we want this to become Europen soccer for gods sake ... Other than that ... Bills loked great .. so did Drew ... and so did the whole team ...

  10. Here are the game stats ... Eastridge lead in just about everything but the final score ... which is all that matters http://www.sectionv.org/football/StatePage/AREGION4.HTM Was a exciting game though ...
  11. We attended the game last night. Our kids attend Eastridge. Was a fantastic season for them. They had not been to this level game before. Hats off to Andy Wolfee, he was amazing. Also have to give a LOT of credit to Eastridge. There starting QB, Kenny Rogers, played with a broken wrist. Still rushed for over a 100 and passed for over a 100 (and they really only passsed in the 3rd quater). Game got close in the 3rd but then turnovers killed Eastridge (fumble for a TD, long run back on a pick and then a punt return for a TD). Still scoring 49 was something but giving up 66 .. ouch. Was a great season and hope Iroquois does well !! Good luck !
  12. Watched an exciting game tonight. Eastridge (unranked) played Victor ranked #2 in the state at class A played their Class A finals. Game was a shootout between the passing of Victors Alex Relph, who was honored as the offensive player of teh year at halftime and Eastridges ground game. Score was 33-20 Eastridge at halfime ... and Victor scored twice in the 3rd to lead 34-33. Came doen to Victor scoring with 5 minutes to go and then banged the extra point off the posts to trail by 1. Eastridge then ran and passed the ball to run out the clock. Key play was 4th and 1 on their 45. They went for it and that was the game. First section title EVER in football for Eastridge. Next game at the Ralph next Saturday. Was EXCITING ... way football should be played !!! And Relph was incredible also ... shame his HS career ended with him scoring 46 points .... and losing !
  13. BHR: If you don't want someone to challenge a stupid wiseass reply .. about the white house ... don't make it in the FIRST place !! Besides .. Clinton was FAR worse ! On the topic of Wally .... agree that if he is good enough to manage in the minors but not the majors. If every PLAYER or Manager was let go for those offences (which are bad !) then teams would have a number of missing players ! Even I guy caught with drugs often keeps his job ! Slow news day for the press ... no Bush to beat on !
  14. Did you actual WATCH the game .. or just drink beer? 3 of the 4 INT's went thru the receivers hands ... but of course .. thats Drews fault ... Moulds had at least two catches .. that a all-pro makes ... but not him Mike "let me shove the rusher" Williams could not stop a cold ... lets see u throw a pass with 3-4 ruchers in your face as u drop back ... How many more were dropped? Bledsoe is just one small part of the problem ... did not see much of anything .. on offense to write home about ... Drew 20/36 for 203 yards Willis 16 for 58, 3.6 average, 15 yards longest Travis 7 for 27, 3.9 average, 10 yards longest ... according to some posters .. that would make Travis better than Willis since he had a longer run and better average .. both did poorly Bills had 3 more first downs Bills had 270 to 160 in total yards Bills had 185 to 60 in passing yards Bills had 85 to 100 in rushing yards Bills only had 5 penalties (bet its a season low) 5 TO to 1 TO ... and 3 go thru receivers hands Bills ran more plays and had the ball longer Bills lose again ... But its JUST Drews fault ... right ...!

  18. Found this at ... http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teameff.php Its interesting to see numbers like these with the emotions removed .. and a few suprises ! 2004 TEAM EFFICIENCY RATINGS Updated through Week 6 Revised as of 10-19-04 These are the Football Outsiders team efficiency ratings for 2004, measured by our proprietary Value Over Average (VOA) system that breaks down every single play and compares a team's performance to the league averaged based on situation in order to determine value over average. Opponent adjustments are currently at 60 percent strength and will gradually increase each week until Week 10. As always, positive numbers represent more points so DEFENSE is better when it is NEGATIVE. Ranked #12 overall Ranked #17 in OFFENSE at -2.0%, Minn 1st at 35.4%, Miami last at -52.6% Ranked #12 in DEFENSE at -3.3%, Seattle 1st at 26%, Minn last at 30.3% Minn being first in offense and last in defense ranks then #17 Ranked #1 overall is Philly, 3rd in O and 9th in D Ranked #2 is NE, 4th in O and 3rd in D These two teams are WAY ahead of the other teams in the rankings. -------------------------- TEAM EFFICIENCY RATINGS, OFFENSE 2004, updated through Week 6 Revised as of 10-19-04 This page lists DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) for total offense as well as rushing and passing offense separated. The DVOA system is explained here. All numbers below are adjusted based on strength of schedule. They are also adjusted to an average percentage of fumbles recovered by the offense. The exceptions are the final three columns, which are unadjusted total, passing, and rushing offense. Rushing includes all rushing, not just running backs. Strength of schedule adjustments are currently at 60 percent, and will increase in strength each week until Week 10. No suprise here .. #17 overall, #18 in passing, #22 in rushing. ----------------------------- TEAM EFFICIENCY RATINGS, DEFENSE 2004, updated through Week 6 Revised as of 10-19-04 This page lists DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) for total defense as well as rushing and passing offense separated. The DVOA system is explained here. All numbers below are adjusted based on strength of schedule. They are also adjusted to an average percentage of fumbles recovered by the defense. The exceptions are the final three columns, which are unadjusted total, passing, and rushing defense. Rushing includes all rushing, not just running backs. Strength of schedule adjustments are currently at 60 percent, and will increase in strength each week until Week 10. Ranked #12 overall, #15 against the pass and #6 against the run ---------------------------------- QUARTERBACKS Bledsoe is ranked #17, 19 and 15 in the catagories so he ranks middle of the pack. ------------------------------ RUNNING BACKS The final statistic is Success Rate. This number represents the player's consistency, measured by successful running plays (the definition of success being different based on down and distance) divided by total running plays. A player with higher VOA and a low success rate mixes long runs with downs getting stuffed at the line of scrimmage. A player with lower VOA and a high success rate generally gets the yards needed, but doesn't often get more. Success Rate (which used to be called "Running Back Batting Average") is further explained here. It is not adjusted for opponent. Henry ranked #31 amongst backs with a success rate of 48%, ranked #19 McGahee ranked #24 amongst backs, success rate of 56% , ranked #7 ----------------------------- WIDE RECEIVERS /TIGHT ENDS Catch % represents the percentage of passes to this receiver completed. Moulds ranked #20, catch % of 67%. (H.Ward is at 90%.) 67% looks very average. Evans has to few catches to be ranked, but his PAR rating would have him#28, and making 63% of his catches. Campbell is ranked #27 and making 50% of his catches With numbers like those for catches no wonder Bledsoes ranking is low !! ------------------------------ OFFENSIVE LINES 2004, updated through Week 6 Revised as of 10-19-04 Teams are ranked according to adjusted line yards. Line yards are all rushing yards by running backs only, with double-digit runs truncated to 10 yards. Numbers are then adjusted based on game situation (except the column marked "NON-ADJUSTED LINE YARDS") as well as opponent quality. The following stats are not adjusted for opponent: 10+ Yards: Percentage of a team's rushing yards more than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. Represents yardage not reflected in Line Yards stat. Power Success: Percentage of runs on third or fourth down, two yards or less to go, that achieved a first down or touchdown. Also includes runs on first-and-goal or second-and-goal from the two-yard line or closer. This is the only statistic on this page that includes quarterbacks. Stuffed: Percentage of runs that result in (on first down) zero or negative gain or (on second through fourth down) less than one-fourth the yards needed for another first down. Since being stuffed is bad, teams are ranked from stuffed least often (#1) to most often (#32). Now these numbers are interesting ! Ranked #19 overall, power % at 50, ranked #25, 10+ yards ranked #25, stuffed ranked #15. So again they are slightly below average. they are #32 for sacks allowed ! They run left 21% of the time for 2.88 yards (rank #27) They run up the middle 61% for 3.40 yards (rank #13) They run right 17% of the time for 4.47 yards (rank #1 !!!!!!!) ------------------------------------ DEFENSIVE LINES 2004, updated through Week 6 Revised as of 10-19-04 Teams are ranked according to adjusted line yards. Line yards are all rushing yards by running backs only, with double-digit runs truncated to 10 yards. Numbers are then adjusted based on game situation (except the column marked "NON-ADJUSTED LINE YARDS") as well as opponent quality. The following stats are not adjusted for opponent: 10+ Yards: Percentage of rushing yards against this defense that come more than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. Represents yardage not reflected in Line Yards stat. Since allowing long runs is bad, teams are ranked from smallest number of 10+ yards (#1) to largest number of 10+ yards (#32). Power Success: Percentage of runs on third or fourth down, two yards or less to go, that achieved a first down or touchdown. Also includes runs on first-and-goal or second-and-goal from the two-yard line or closer. This is the only statistic on this page that includes quarterbacks. Since allowing first downs is bad, teams are ranked from lowest power success (#1) to highest power success (#32). Stuffed: Percentage of runs that result in (on first down) zero or negative gain or (on second through fourth down) less than one-fourth the yards needed for another first down. Ranked from most stuffs (#1) to fewest stuffs (#32). Ranked #12 overall Power: ranked #15 10+ yards and stuffed: Ranked #6 Ranked #18 in sacks. So overall a solid defence, almost top 10 ------------------------------------- SPECIAL TEAMS RATINGS 2004, updated through Week 6 Revised as of 10-19-04 This page lists an estimate of how many points, compared to league average, each team receives from the five elements of special teams: field goals/extra points, kickoffs, kick returns, punts, punt returns. The total is then converted into a DVOA percentage so that it can be added in to offense and defense to create total team DVOA. Field goal rating compares each field goal to the league-average percentage of field goals from that distance. Yards of field position from the other four elements of special teams are translated into points using a method that gives each yard line a point value based on the average next score an NFL offense is worth from that point on the field. Punts, punt returns, and kickoffs are based on net yardage. Kickoff returns are judged on return yardage only. The system is explained here. Two-point conversions and onside kicks are not included. All special teams numbers are adjusted for weather/altitude based on stadium type (cold, warm, dome, Denver) and week, with the exception of the two columns at the far right marked NON-ADJUSTED. VOA represents the five elements of special teams without weather adjustments. VOA w/HIDDEN adds two secondary elements of special teams over which teams have virtually no control: opponent field goal efficiency and opponent kickoff length. Ranked #8 .. which compared to pass years has to be WAY up ! These were not ranked on the page but were: About #26 in kicking (XP/FG) About #13 in KO About #2 in KO returns (outstanding !) About #15 in punts About #10 in punt returns ------------------------ 2004 DRIVE STATS Updated through Week 6 Revised as of 10-20-2004 Drive stats compiled by Jim Armstrong These stats are computed from NFL Drive Charts and are not adjusted for strength of schedule or situation. FUM/Drive represents Fumbles Lost per drive. LOS/Drive represents average starting field position (line of scrimmage) per drive. Take-a-knee drives at the end of a half are discarded. NET values are simply OFFENSE minus DEFENSE. #16 Yds/Drive #27 Pts/Drive #27 TDs/Drive #29 Punts/Drive #12 TOs/Drive #12 INT/Drive #17 FUM/Drive #28 LOS/Drive So if 16 is average ... not very good ....
  19. Better yet, guy misses a hot read .. drill the ball into the back of his head ... runner turns the wrong way .. keep the ball and drill it into his sorry ass .. OL line waves at a guy so he rushes Drew ... drill the OL line guy ... Bet two or three of these would shake them up !!! Shades of "The Longest Yard" I know I would like to see more of the shotgun and no huddle... forget the quick side out pass to the WR ... never works ... screen passes to TH or WM would be nice to see them in the open field more ....
  20. I was also in section 139 .... and had 4 very well behaved Pats fans behind me .. they were dressed in normal attire and acted like u should .. cheer your team and aknowledge good plays on both sides ... a shame the same could not be said to the other groups of Pats AND Bills fans ... watched a couple of real brave Bills fans pick on two young kids who had Pats shirts on till they had to leave. Watched others throwing stuff at other people in Pats attire ... my son had on his Spikes shirt and was called names on the way to the car my Pats backers ... Was by FAR the worst behaved crowd I have seen in 20+ years of going to games ... The ONLY time security even came down the aisle was AFTER stuff had gone to far ... the end zone section had to be 80% Pats fans and the area was open finger pointing / swearing / throwing stuff Just goes to show how brave people get with to much beer ... My last game for a while ... till next year ... Also not so sure why everyone expected a different score than we got .. we are about the 25th best team in the league ... and played one of the top 3 teams ... I was hoping for a close game ... which it was ... but we have almost NO offense and the defense is over-rated ... we have no pass rush ... ever ... and we give up to many 3 and 22 yard plays ... and spend to much time complaining about the refs ... score more than a touchdown a game and you have something to complain about !!! Hopefully the winning starts next week ... and the whinning stops !!!
  21. I was at the game ... and what I saw was ... A number of times DB handed the ball off to Travis and every tim not a single Pats player was covering anyone but the ball carrier .. I even commented to my son that if Drew was to fake a handoff he had a easy 5 yards or more ... Now to be clear ... I NEVER want to see Drew running as a option but it WAS open all day. What I saw happen on the 4th down play ... Looked like TH screwed up and when the wrong way that left Drew no one to fake to PLUS the guard pulled .. thinking he was doing lord knows what .. and that left a hole in the middle for a defender to sack Drew ... and then he fumbled .... I don't fault Drew .... I guess if that is the BEST 4th down play the bills have then I don't blame him ... blame the personal. Bills gave the Pats a good game ... TV timeouts / pentalies / horride pass coverage was killing them all day ... Considering the defence played so-so (few tackles by the front line that I remember) a TD by the special teams / good pass protection (forget the last few minutes) and the Bills played well enought to win ... but are a team afraid to win ... looks like they are always waiting for the "bad" thing to happen. So that makes 3 straight loses in a row I have attended ... hard to swallow !
