  1. NHL Free Agency begins tomorrow! I thought I'd start this thread for rumors, announcements, and discussions. I know the Sabres did no extend qualifying offers to Miro Satan and Eric Boulton. Did they make qualifying offers for all the other RFA?
  2. Oh no! Don't take it the wrong way at all. I wasn't trying to be smart or anything. I was just trying to see if you thought it was just rust, or he wasn't good. I'm very pro-Losman!
  3. I heard the autograph session is before practice this year. Is that true? Anyone know when the gates open?
  4. So in your opinion, JP is just rusty. You are expecting him to improve fairly quickly as camp progresses?
  5. Nevermind, it was Tim Kennedy, whoever the hell that is.
  6. It says on Sabres.com that the Sabres "Traded for Buffalo native", but when I click on the link, it doesn't show anything??? I know there was some talk of Aaron Miller. Was it him? Anyone know?
  7. Yeah, media definitely made it seem a lot worse. If I were Wright, I would've pointed at my head and made fun of the hat.
  8. WHAAAAAAAT???? I think that's a completely made up scenario.
  9. Yeah, need a log in. What did it say?
  10. I didn't know you could get the tickets online. Do they cost money online? I was planning to get tickets on August 1st for the practice on the 22nd at Topps before work, but if I can I'll just get them online.
  11. So we will be able to still see all the Sabres games right?
  12. Yeah McGahee, Clements, Moulds, Evans, Schobel. They're all bums.
  13. "You're gonna need a faster boat."
  14. The night practices are pretty much just general admission.
  15. It is worth noting that Dahl hated the original so much, that he had in his will that they would never make another movie. It took a lot for his family to be talked into it.
  16. I do not really care for Depp, or Tim Burton, but I really enjoyed this film. The original is a classic, but I don't think it's a very good movie. This one far surpassed the original for me. I loved Depp's portrayl of Wonka, and thought all the kids were great. One of the bests part though has to be the Oompa Loompa song and dance numbers. Danny Elfman's score was absolutely phenomenal. My favorite part is probably where they were on the elevator, and they passed through the office building and Wonka says "Hello, Doris" and the Oompa Loompa is dressed up as a secretary. LOL "You really need to stop mumbling."
  17. I remember they had computers to look this up at the Erie County Fair last year.
  18. I would be astonished if it wasn't televised. I would bet ESPN would televise the press conference, where they break down how the new CBA works. If worse comes to worst, I'm sure one of the Canadian stations will have it. And to think of the Sabres getting Crosby. That would be incredible.
  19. I've heard some crazy things about the future of hockey uniforms. One thing I heard is that they may switch to tight, aerodynamic uniforms. I've heard them compared to "Spiderman wearing your team's colors and logo." God no!
  20. Oh, of course I do count on them bringing at least one more D-Man in. Scott Niedermayer, Brian Rafalski, Roman Hamrlik, Adam Foote, Sergei Gonchar, and Sandis Ozolinsh are all very appealing to me.
  21. I'm not too concerned about letting Zhitnik go. But we need to keep a good deal of our RFA. I definitely want to see Satan, Campbell, Afinogenov, Biron, Briere, Dumont, Grier, Hecht, Kotalik, Pyatt, and Tallinder back.
  22. The guy puts in very nicely. At the very worst, some disillusioned Buffalo Bills fan buys a shirt to alleviate his bitter memory of the early 1990s, when the Bills were runner-up in the Super Bowl four consecutive times. See, we didn't lose four straight. We were runners-up four straight years!
  23. The thing I've talked about with other people, is that possibly where the aliens are from, they had no bacteria, or completely exterminated all bacteria many years ago. So when they wanted to invade, they never bothered trying to look for bacteria, because they had no idea what it was. Another theory, is that when they planted the tripods here "millions of years ago", they found our bacteria, and came up with a solution to fight it. Now though, many years in the future, the bacteria has mutated and evolved so that they are no longer immune to it.
