  1. I agee with you and I also find it troubling that many here want to quickly sweep your valid question under the rug.
  2. And lose a few thousand votes in NJ-NY-CT?
  3. I'm beginning to wonder what the point of fielding a NFL team is if our QB is going to be trowing (game losing) pick-sixes!?! But I guess I'm alone!
  4. I don't know what's worse: The fact that our QB will be throwing interceptions for touchdowns or the fact that no one here cares!
  5. Pick sixes on out patterns - The most important part of this post and NO ONE pays attention to it!!
  6. Below is from a NY Times blog written yesterday telling us to beware of today's report. http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/02/beware-the-jobs-report-of-july/ "The issue will loom particularly large on Friday, because the report for July is annually adjusted by a larger amount than for any other month save January, when holiday workers lose their jobs." And... "The government has estimated an average change of 149,700 jobs in the last 10 July jobs reports, but it has since revised those estimates by an average of 92,900 jobs per year. In other words, the initial estimate is generally off by about 62 percent."
  7. So there weren't 163,000 new jobs in July?
  8. So we can imagine what Bills camp would look like if/when the Bills win the Super Bowl. I was going to start a thread about the Denver Broncos with Peyton Manning as QB because I intend to follow them this year. Doing so doesn't make me a Broncos fan.
  9. Meanwhile in Albany the Giants brought their Super Bowl Championship trophy for their fans to see. http://www.timesunio...phy-3757284.php Lucky them!
  10. ...traveling from where?
  11. Keep up the good work. You're not the only Bills fan scared to death about the prospect of Ryan Fitzpatrick as the team QB. I just don't see him lasting a full season.
  12. I feel the exact same way. But I have to say for the 1000th time that if Thurman Thomas held on to the ball in Buffalo Bills Super Bowl IV James Washington of the Cowboys never would have stripped it and we would have WON! That would have been an awesome experience - losing three SBs in a row and finally wining the 4th. But Thurman barely held the ball, Leon Lett stipped it simply by touching it, and James Washington scored a TD and our victory was dashed!
  13. As a resident of Syracuse I am proud of the reader comments on these articles. There's either no response or if there is a response it's anti-Jets. Still, with all the media that Tim Tebow generates I hope the Jets don't bump any of the Bills games off broadcast television here in Syracuse. Albany will likely be all Jets, though. Maybe Binghamton, too!
  14. With Ryan Fitzpatrick as QB? For a full season? Many of us Bills fans just don't see that happening.
  15. That's just Super! I'm worried, though! Do we have a corresponding dominating O to go along with the dominating D? Because if we don't even have a 1/2 way decent O or better than average QB there's no point to having a dominating D.
  16. We have a below average QB in Ryan Fitzpatrick! Thus:
  17. Meaning: We have a dominating D but an average O. Just as I expected.
  18. I live in Syracuse, too and I thought there would be much more local coverage with Tebow on the team this year but there isn't IMO. I don't sense a lot of people traveling down to Cortland to see the Jets practice, either.
  19. That's a pretty cool avatar you have there, Nick! The Union Jack morphing into a Buffalo!!
  20. Because third string QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will start losing games for us. So, why waste time playing hard if your mediocre QB can't win games?
  21. Our Defense is likely to generate 2-3 shutouts by the mid-point of the season. But once the Defense sees how bad QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is they'll stop wasting their time playing hard because Fitz' limited skills will start losing a lot of games.
  22. Romney doesn't have to win the Presidential election in November. Obama will lose it for him.
  23. Batavia. With a stadium in Batavia you draw all of Buffalo, all of Rochester, and most of Syracuse (where I live). That should be enough.
  24. The article mentions those of us here in Central (Syracuse/Binghamton/Utica) New York State. Don't forget us! Having said that, with regard to the Bills staying in Buffalo, as we were taught in drivers education: "Expect the unexpected."
