  1. Hello all, my poor mom has been in constant pain for going on nearly a year now.

She has pain on her right & left sides. She has seen her regular doctor, she's been to the emergency room, and she's seen a specialist.

Through it all, X-Rays, MRI's etc. The doctors can find NOTHING to diagnose.

My mom is in her 70's and has type 2 diabetes, and I believe she has hypertension as well.

My mom suspects that it's nerve pain, and absolutely nothing works to help her with her pain. She says it feels like there are thorns sticking in her sides.

The doctors did prescribe a certain pain killer for her to take, but it is filled with numerous potential side effects, and my mom doesn't want to take them.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what this condition could be, if it sounds familiar to anyone?

My mom cannot take ibuprofen either.

Feel free to comment with anything. I'm tired of seeing in my mom in constant pain and nobody who is willing to help her. Thank you!

If you started watching football in the 90's or earlier you got to witness the entirety of Brady with some decent context to boot. It felt like Brady was inevitable . If he had the ball late it wasn't if he would score but when. Leads didn't matter. He practically erased other HOF level QB's of that generation. Sure Ben, Peyton, and Drew eventually got one, which is good lesson for us because it really felt unlikely for a period of time. I think most of us feel like that level of domination just isn't possible again.  Like what we saw was a once in lifetime thing. Bruce Smiths sack record, Barry Sanders doing Barry things. You just don't think you will see some things again because until that point all those years taught you they shouldn't happen in the first place.

So when we see a guy like Mahomes have this type of success we sort of think, ok, ya, he's good but do it again. Then the next year you say the same thing. Then the next and the next and eventually you forget that you have been saying do it again for half a decade. Maybe what we are seeing is in fact another version of what all of us hoped we would never see again. Which as history has taught us, does not mean we will not get one or perhaps more, but it does mean it will be a very difficult path.

Brady played in an era where stats were just not as easy to pile up as Mahomes so when you look at the data keep that in context.

After 6 years in the league......

Mahomes = 4 AFC Championships, 2 Super Bowls, 1 pending

Brady = 3 AFC championships, 3 Super Bowls

The stats after 6 seasons aren't really close. I included Allen's most recent 5 years and extrapolated it into 6 years for comparisons sake.

We sit here every offseason trying to solve why we didn't get to the Super Bowl like it's a physics question. Nobody would think that way during the Brady era. You knew out of the gate you weren't the favorite. You never were going to be the favorite and it would take something special to overcome it. We don't think that way because we keep saying ya, sure, do it again. Over and over it goes.

I see no evidence that he's a cheater, so my answer would be no.

I’m no cap expert to be sure but if what I’m reading here is true about Von then I’d cut him loose. He contributed literally nothing this past season. While it hurts to pay a guy not to play for you (I absolutely love how Brad Pitt tells an aging David Justice that in the movie Money Ball) , the ‘savings’ sound like they can be well used to buy way more than he’s going to contribute.

Yes, and look at how many World Series championships the A's have won since then.

All I’ve been reading every off season are predictions that Morse will be cut for the past 3 years but he hasn’t been.

Its not happening he’s one of the most important pieces to our OL and we would have a glaring hole at C

If Morse stays, he will have to take a pay cut.

I thank the Gods we have Josh Allen I really do, but i cant describe this as a 'thing of beauty' when you consider how we previously traded the Patrick Mahomes pick to KC, i just cant. Not with who Mahomes has turned out to be & with how desperate we were for a QB in 2017, & not with where our 2 franchises are now. Josh Allen sure we drafted him so thats all that counts, but we very easily couldve gotten this pick wrong as well & missed out on both & where would we be today? In all honesty, im surprised we did pick Josh & that its turned out as well as it has. Its not too often things go better than expected around here.

But as far as BILLS seasons go, you could argue everything else is par for the course, with the 1 anomaly being how great Josh Allen is. He on his own makes everyone look like geniuses for picking him & he makes the coaches & players around him better too. But at some point & many of us fans are there right now, thats not enough.

Maybe i'm being too hard on the GM & team but theres that saying how a broken clock is right twice a day. We got the clock right the one time with Josh, but 6-7 years later, the rest of the clock is still broken it seems, as we still haven't figured out what makes it even tick. And we're all just hoping now that Beane has figured it all out & will make the right moves. Every one of us will have a different level of faith in this staff's ability to do that now. For me, my faith is shaken to its final threads, given the past few years of self inflicted personnel mistakes. But when you have a Josh Allen, anything is possible i suppose. In Beane we hope...

    Here we go again!

First, Beane was not here when we traded the pick to Kansas City.

Second, there is no way that Mahomes would have had the exact same success in Buffalo than he would have in Kansas City.

He landed with a team with one of the best offensive head coaches in the game, who also does great work with quarterbacks.

He also had players like Travis Kelce & Tyreek Hill on the roster.

Do you really think Mahomes would have survived with the Bills offensive line that Josh Allen had in 2018?

    Enough with this garbage already!

I just can’t do it....I don’t like the Ravens, and I REALLY hate the Chefs....not to mention the fact that the Bills should be playing in this game, and I don’t need to be reminded that they are not.

I am definitely watching the NFC Championship and the Superb Owl, but I’m sitting this one out.

    Who’s with me??

    I'm with you.

Although I will watch the Super Bowl.
