Because we already have a great Punter who just won Special Teams player of the month.

Oh yea, and he's a pervert.

    Martin is a great Punter?

I give him credit for the Monthly recognition he's earned, but let's not pretend that he's been doing this good all season.

He's been serviceable, and I think the Bills can do better at this position going into the future. Bringing in another Punter next year in training camp vis free agency or the draft is not a bad idea. Martin is also 33, bringing in a younger and less expensive player would make sense too.

    We are not sure yet.

EDIT: @RyanC883 nevermind, here is the press release:

    https://nbcsportsgrouppressbox.com/2024/01/08/nbcuniversal-is-home-to-record-three-nfl-playoff-games-on-super-wild-card-weekend-including-peacocks-presentation-of-nfls-first-ever-exclusive-live-streamed-playoff-game/

"Saturday night’s Peacock AFC Wild Card Exclusive – featuring Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Miami Dolphins — will once again feature a commercial-free fourth quarter similar to the Dec. 23 Bills-Chargers game."

Commercial free. Yeah, right. There were no paid ads, but we had to listen to Mike Tirico constantly plug upcoming events exclusively on NBC.

It's not like we were watching players on the sidelines and seeing the fans in the stands during this "commercial free" period.

As for the Chiefs-Dolphins game, I'm not even going to watch. I'm not downloading the app, I don't care how cheap it is.
The NFL gets enough money from us. The playoffs should be on network television.

If I breakdown and have to absolutely know how the game is going, then I'll listen to it on the radio.

These are not the old “soft lines” of past years. Jones in the middle of the D Line and an improved offensive line should make us a lot tougher.

loved an earlier post that called Spencer Brown our “Rob Ray”.

    Shades of Ronnie Harmon

    Comparatively, Cook's catch looked easier.

I’m still trying to figure out why the clock stopped at 3:12 after Allen’s amazing 3rd and 13 run.

The clock stopped and the Dolphins were able to preserve a timeout which ultimately lead to them to having almost two full minutes for the last drive. Bills could have run the clock down to under 1:30 if the Dolphins burned a timeout after the amazing Allen run. Tirico mentioned that the Ramsey hold caused the clock to stop, but if that’s true couldn’t the Bills have just declined the 5 yard penalty to force the timeout, taking the ball on the Bills 49 rather than the Dolphins 46?

The five yards did not put them into field goal range.

Was it clock mismanagement by McD to accept the Ramsey penalty?

    3rd & 13 at BUF 34

(3:12 - 4th) (Shotgun) J.Allen scrambles right end to BUF 49 for 15 yards (C.Wilkins). PENALTY on MIA-J.Ramsey, Defensive Holding, 5 yards, enforced at BUF 49.

    Does anyone know the answer?

I've been wondering this too. Was there an injured player at the end of the play?

First time watching Penix. All I’ve seen are missed throws and bad reads, doesn’t look like a first round QB to me. Of course, it could just be an off game.

This is the worst game I have seen him play all year. Stunning.

Am I crazy to want Linval Joseph active for this game, given the weather forecast and the Steelers' recent success running the ball?

I'm not sure there's a position elsewhere on the roster where the Bills could realistically sacrifice a roster spot, and I can't recall ever seeing the Bills have five DTs active on game day, but if there was ever a week...

What if we go with Joseph and bench Poona Ford?

Right now the WR FA class includes the following (of course subject to change)

    -Tee Higgins

    -Mike Evans

    -Odell Beckham

    -Tyler Boyd

    -DJ Chark

    -Marquise Brown

    -Calvin Ridley

    -Michael Pittman

    -Curtis Samuel

Plus it's a deep WR draft class. Sure, it only takes one team to go big...but I don't think he even hits the $13.5M AAV that Spotrac projects.

Maybe he gets a deal that Zay Jones got from the Jaguars?

Its always fun to think about travelling to a new away venue, particularly of teams the Bills don't often play. Seattle jumps out as the most interesting on this list by far for me when taking into account other attractions to check out before/after the game.  Curious to find out how loud that stadium actually is, followed by some hikes in the amazing national parks out there. I'm sold, pending dates!

I've been there for a game, it gets very loud. Impressive for an open air stadium.

    Lots of blitzes by Miami.

Tua getting the ball out in 2 seconds flat.

    Easy as that.

Which is why the Bills defensive performance in the second half was even more impressive.

Even though Tagavailoa was never sacked, the scheme the Bills defense played worked effectively with good tackling, recognition, and pass break-ups.
