Best wishes to him. I was cheering for the guy. Despite the injuries he looked he had potential to at least be a good back-up for us.

Look into it. Can't hurt.

Buddy... I dont wanna argue with you. I respect your opinion. If you read my post, I specified defensive players that Beane drafts.
I hope I'm wrong and where not here talking about BBB and the same exact thing that we have for the last 4 years at least.
And Knox is not and has not shown that he is good or remotely close to what we pay him.
I'm not saying that Beane has been perfect at drafting, and of course I want the Bills to get better, and I think they will. Somehow.
Yes, Knox is overpaid, no question. Which is why I don't know why we don't use him more often. I do think Kincaid can work out and be very good for us.
When we drafted Kincaid, I had Chiefs fans come up to me and say, "You just drafted Travis Kelce."
Now I don't have those kind of lofty expectations for Kincaid, but I think he can become a very good Tight End for the Bills.
I know your main focus is the defense, and I share that frustration. Is it the players? Is it the scheme? I'm not sure.
I like McDermott, and even though he was a student of Jim Johnson, I still have really yet to see that from him.

Lol... there's quite a few that are still on the team, but please be my guest and enlighten me
Ed Oliver is a good player.
Devin Singletary was on the team for 4 seasons, he's no longer with us because we weren't going to pay him big money. He was a good RB for us.
Dawson Knox is overpaid, but is hardly a JAG.
Gabriel Davis had an early impact on the team, but faded because he wasn't the type of player that we could use long term.
Tommy Doyle has had injuries, but has played well when called upon. May never be a starter, but is good for depth.
Terrel Bernard is slow and short, but produces. A lot better than who we had at MLB prior to.

Interestingly enough Sal and Matt Bove were trying to interpret Beane’s press conference. Both feel that Beane will try a big swing at WR or defense. Bove really thinks it’s going to be Maxx Crosby. To add fuel to the fire, he said Crosby is still young (27) and that the Bills liked him coming out college.
All guesswork, but the logic behind the move and the actual fit would make sense. I just think the Raiders will ask for a LOT of compensation and that there will be other teams interested.
(See how easy it is to add context to a video?)
I think Crosby would be the right fit for us. It's true that the Raiders won't just give him away, but so what?
I don't care if we give away our first round pick, or if we make a trade that means we have to give up our first pick in 2026! If it means that you can get player(s) that can get us a championship, then do it!
The future is now!

I'm not dismissing Kincaid, nor am I giving up on Coleman after one season.

The Raiders have a new coach and are going to want a new QB. They might be able to grab one at #6 overall, but could need more ammo to move up even higher or extra picks to supply their rookie QB with weapons & blocking. There have been trade rumors floating around and personally I don’t think an elite DE in his prime is going to have much patience for a regime change and a new QB to develop.
Unlike Von Miller, Crosby is not going to be a rental. He is only 27 years old and someone you can build the entire defense around. Beane absolutely needs to give up whatever it takes to get him. They certainly have the draft capital to do so. I think he is well worth a first rounder and one of our fourths, but a 2nd plus someone like Kincaid could work as well. He is a fantastic fit for the Bills. Paired up with Rousseau on the other side would make a lethal duo w/ AJE rotating in.
We all know the defense has been absolute dog ***** in the postseason especially the pass rush. Mahomes absolutely embarrassed the Bills D scrambling around the pocket evading the rush like Pac-Man. A player like Crosby would have an immediate impact and propel Buffalo to being SB favorites. I think he would be the perfect fit on the field and the locker room. It makes too much sense. He would instantly become our best player on that side of the ball.
The 9 million we save from cutting Von Miller plus another year removed from that awful Stefon Diggs cap hit, the Bills can finally make a big splash & add some juice to this inconsistent pass rush. Beane has been hit or miss when it comes to the 1st round. A proven player would make much more sense. Even if Beane did hit on round 1, they will most likely need 2-3 years to develop. We saw the impact Diggs made (despite his untimely exit) propelling us from the wildcard round to an AFC Championship. If you disagree with me, don’t just downvote my post. Give me a reason. 👍
I like the idea.
Our first round pick is really a high 2nd, so I won't miss it. Go for it!

I’d easily package a 2nd rounder and 4th rounder for Simmons. He’s 27 yrs old and next to Oliver, Groot and Smoot would be a very formidable DL. Then you can focus on the secondary in FA and the draft.
Don’t know if that would get it done but we can’t hope a draft pick at 30 is gonna make an immediate impact on the DL.
This all sounds good to me. If we have to trade our first round pick to get someone I would do it.
The 30th pick is basically a high 2nd with the 5th year option. I wouldn't miss it.

Do Bills fans still want him?

I’ve come to the conclusion the Bills should really lean into trading for a Dexter Lawrence, Jeffrey Simmons or Trey Hendrickson if possible. Particularly, Lawrence or Simmons as neither of those teams are going anywhere soon. They would instantly change the entire dynamic of the D. Unfortunately, Beane has missed on multiple picks in the draft.
If the Bills can somehow find a disruptor on the DL and a ball hawk in the secondary, it would dramatically alter their D! Easier said than done but they have 10 picks in the upcoming draft.
I think this is a great idea. Go ahead and mortgage draft picks. Trade and get good players who want to win now, instead of letting their careers pass them by.
I don't know if the Bills will do this, but it's a good idea.

I think its on the Bills page- there is an end zone camera from goal post, Curtis coming straight at the camera- you see how quick and elusive Curtis is. Curtis was hampered by injuries. I expect a big year from Curtis next year
I don't doubt that the turf toe injury was bothering him all season. I just didn't like the way they used Samuel for most of the season. We'll see if that changes next season.
Samuel is talented, and we need to use him a lot better than we did.

Current wrs are lacking big play potential which wastes Josh's strength. Package picks 30 and 56 to move up to 17 or 18 and pick Luther Burden or Emeka Egbuka.
We'll have 4 4th rounders after comps for Davis and Floyd....trade 4th rounder to Jags for Gabriel Davis (meniscus surgery) and a 6th rounder;
You want Gabe Davis back?

totally agree. JA has THE WORST cast around him of any QB in the playoffs. Go out an get Tee Higgins in FA. Then draft someone in Rd. 2 who is an elite route runner. Heck, bring Woods back (he can also block). Bean is to blame for these playoff losses. I really don't care about the D. They suck in the playoffs anyway with McD, so build up the offense.
You make it sound like signing Higgins would be easy to do.
He will go where the money is, and I doubt we have it.

The Los Angeles Rams run an Offense that requires their WR's to block and are still able to maintain a vertical passing game with outside separation.
If Amari Cooper is not that guy any longer, it makes zero sense to bring him back and we desperately need to find a separator on the outside, given we should absolutely bring Hollins back, but that essentially locks in two big body receivers in Coleman & Hollins on the outside that haven't shown much separation ability.
Maybe Samuel, if he can finally be healthy, can give us that on the outside more next year but it's clearly not something we should be relying on.
I don't want to see Samuel catching passes behind the line of scrimmage ever again. That play needs to be ripped from the playbook and tossed into the incinerator.
Samuel is a much better wide receiver than that. Did everyone see that touchdown he had on Sunday?

Only early round picks which are wasted anyway 😂They can still keep thevl Day 3 picks where they do their best work 👍
Do you think it's realistic for us to get in a position to get Abdul Carter?
If you do, then I say the Hell with that and try and move up to get Mason Cole.

I really wonder if we had a truly great pass rusher like Myles Garrett opposite Rousseau, you'd probably see Rousseau get 12-14 sacks.
But I get your point. He's not really a true difference maker.
I really wish Beane would trade up for Abdul Carter similar to when we traded for Cornelius Bennett
We just don't have" that guy" on defense.
Forget that. We'd lose a lot of draft capital for that to happen.

Bill's Free Agents this off-season (post news here about Bills free agents and targets):
Unrestricted Free Agents
WR Amari Cooper His presence made a difference. If he's interested in staying, I would consider keeping him.
CB Rasul Douglas He's been good for us, but he's on the decline. Let him walk.
OT Tommy Doyle We still don't know what we have with him. Injuries have been tough, but he keeps coming back. At the very least he is good depth, and wouldn't be expensive. Keep him.
LS Reid Ferguson Provides stability, and won't be expensive.
FB Reggie Gilliam We could probably find someone younger for this position, unless they really love his Special Teams play.
S Demar Hamlin He played better this season than I thought he would. Could go either way here.
WR Mack Hollins YES! Re-sign him! Not a superstar, but he's an important player for us.
DT Quinton Jefferson A late emergency signing. He can go.
DT Austin Johnson Provides depth, but can probably find someone else like him.
RB Ty Johnson Would love to have him back. Keeping this trio of running backs together would be great.
DT Jordan Phillips See Quinton Jefferson.
DE Dawuane Smoot I'm good with bringing him back, he made plays.
Restricted/Exclusive-Rights Free Agents
OT Alec Anderson Obvious keeper
QB Shane Buechele Why not? Extra camp arm.
OT Ryan Van Demark
TE Quintin Morris Unsure. We could find someone else to be our 3rd Tight End.

It feels so empty to not have football after how far the Bills got. And I know the NFLPA would probably never go for the idea. But what if there was a consolation game the week before the Super Bowl for the two conference championship losing teams? They do it for the World Cup and the Olympics and other tournaments. Maybe it's too much to ask after pouring your heart into that final game. On the other hand, the chance to go out a winner is nice. Thoughts?
They did this a few times in the early 80's with the Final Four College Basketball Tournament. They had a "3rd Place" Game.
The games were ugly as the players did not seem that inspired to be playing in it, so thankfully they stopped having them.
A 3rd place game in the NFL would have the same feel. No thanks.

I know it was a tough ask with so much pressure being in his face, but if JA would have just looked immediately to his left, he had Shakir wide open with miles of daylight in the flat........easily enough for the 1st down anyways.
I would trust the ball more with Shakir making a play than Kincaid, that's for sure.
I get what you are saying, but that would've been a tough play for Allen to make. He had defenders coming at him immediately.
Had the play been meant for Shakir from the start, it could have worked. Yet, it doesn't look like that was the plan.

From a business standpoint, this is a smart move by the NFL.
Australia and Germany are the two international countries that have the biggest followings in the NFL.
