  1. Yep, he laid a big hit on Mahomes but most of times, Epenesa couldn’t catch him
  2. How many times did we see Mahomes escape the pocket around Epenesa’s left end and get a first down. After a while you know where Mahomes is running, but it never registered with Epenesa. Mahomes will miss him when we meet up with KC, but we definitely won’t.
  3. No comp pick; doesn’t meet qualifying criteria according to Timeframe: They must sign with a new club between the start of the new league year (in March) and the Monday following the NFL Draft.
  4. Damn 8 years? It’s like that futz at work who screws everything he touches and you got to fix it everytime; however when layoffs came, you needed someone like that as a buffer. Nathan must’ve been a good locker room guy, saying funny things to players and coaches; just a fun guy to keep around
  5. Gotta go with Nathan Peterman; how bad was he? Well, in less than two seasons with the Buffalo Bills, Peterman threw three touchdowns with 12 interceptions and had a 32.5 passer rating. Keep in mind that throwing every pass into the ground earns a quarterback a 39.6 rating.😑
  6. Ray is too valuable as a KR, making All Pro special teams, but he gets paid like 3rd string RB; and it sucks for him, since he's stuck. And time is running out for him with each year they stick him on special teams. They don't call special teams, the suicide squad for nothing; where players die an early NFL death.
  7. This signing is Beane’s futuristic odd science in GM roster creation. He’s pairing Mac Delena with his recent signing of Mac Dana to create a new super duper player, Dana Delena.
  8. Beane got the QB right; usually if GMs mess up the QB, they’re gone; Vikings, Falcons, Jets, Dolphins GMs all fired bc they messed up on the QB; one exception are the Browns who’s kept GM Andrew Berry around even though he messes up the QB
  9. Definitely no OJ, but what about putting The Electric Company on the monument wall
  10. Very intrigued with this pairing up of HOF players with combined 5 DPOY awards. They say it's a QBs league, but the last two SBs, it was the Eagles and Seahawks pass rush that won it. Donald's wife will say yes after Rams show them the money and Rodeo Drive will be her candyland. If Donald returns, the Bills better get an answer at left guard other than Austin Corbett or Alec Anderson. Still can't believe they let Edwards go.
  11. Fearsome twosomes over the years to my best recollection are: Deacon Jones/Merlin Olsen, Carl Eller/Alan Page, LC Greenwood/Mean Joe Green, Ed Too Tall Jones/Randy The Manster White, Reggie White/Jerome Brown But damn, layoff or no layoff, Garrett/Donald might be the most fearsome of all
  12. Aaron Donald hasn't been a couch potato during his 2 yr layoff. Whomever is our left guard schlub will be, he'll faint at the sight of 99 across the line and be mercifully stretchered off. I remembered watching Myles Garrett break a Jets QB's ankle like it was a toothpick, between those two, like facing Godzilla and King Kong; who do you double team?
  13. Better not be Josh’s Achilles in our week 5 matchup vs Rams. Please don’t jinx us
  14. I don't understand the doubts surrounding Donald returning after 2 years away. A number of players have returned after layoffs such as Eric Weddle and more recently, Phil Rivers, and safety and QB requires a lot more getting up to speed with reading defensive and offensive formations than defensive tackle. Injuries? You could be a rookie DL like TJ Sanders and get injured easily.
  15. Cameron Jordan, Cameron Heyward, Calais Campbell are all on wrong side of 35 and playing at a high level. You ever see Aaron Donald working out with Jared Verse? Donald's still a monster and a freshly rested one at that too
