All I’ve been reading every off season are predictions that Morse will be cut for the past 3 years but he hasn’t been.

Its not happening he’s one of the most important pieces to our OL and we would have a glaring hole at C

If Morse stays, he will have to take a pay cut.

I thank the Gods we have Josh Allen I really do, but i cant describe this as a 'thing of beauty' when you consider how we previously traded the Patrick Mahomes pick to KC, i just cant. Not with who Mahomes has turned out to be & with how desperate we were for a QB in 2017, & not with where our 2 franchises are now. Josh Allen sure we drafted him so thats all that counts, but we very easily couldve gotten this pick wrong as well & missed out on both & where would we be today? In all honesty, im surprised we did pick Josh & that its turned out as well as it has. Its not too often things go better than expected around here.

But as far as BILLS seasons go, you could argue everything else is par for the course, with the 1 anomaly being how great Josh Allen is. He on his own makes everyone look like geniuses for picking him & he makes the coaches & players around him better too. But at some point & many of us fans are there right now, thats not enough.

Maybe i'm being too hard on the GM & team but theres that saying how a broken clock is right twice a day. We got the clock right the one time with Josh, but 6-7 years later, the rest of the clock is still broken it seems, as we still haven't figured out what makes it even tick. And we're all just hoping now that Beane has figured it all out & will make the right moves. Every one of us will have a different level of faith in this staff's ability to do that now. For me, my faith is shaken to its final threads, given the past few years of self inflicted personnel mistakes. But when you have a Josh Allen, anything is possible i suppose. In Beane we hope...

    Here we go again!

First, Beane was not here when we traded the pick to Kansas City.

Second, there is no way that Mahomes would have had the exact same success in Buffalo than he would have in Kansas City.

He landed with a team with one of the best offensive head coaches in the game, who also does great work with quarterbacks.

He also had players like Travis Kelce & Tyreek Hill on the roster.

Do you really think Mahomes would have survived with the Bills offensive line that Josh Allen had in 2018?

    Enough with this garbage already!

I just can’t do it....I don’t like the Ravens, and I REALLY hate the Chefs....not to mention the fact that the Bills should be playing in this game, and I don’t need to be reminded that they are not.

I am definitely watching the NFC Championship and the Superb Owl, but I’m sitting this one out.

    Who’s with me??

    I'm with you.

Although I will watch the Super Bowl.

  4. I'm a Michigan fan, and I cannot see Wilson going in the second round.

I agree that he does play bigger than he appears, and he has great hands. I think his 6' designation is generous.

That being said, I would welcome him on the Bills. Could be a sneaky good choice.

I appreciate what Brady did, but we need to  truly do this in earnest.   I would rather have somone with a more proven track record that can scheme guys open better.

I would really like  a version of the WCO like Rogers had where he tossed a lot of TD's while throwing less than 10 ints's per season from 2011 -2021.

Are you saying you want Nate Hackett back? :death:

I share the opinion that I have seen in many places on this board: that WR #2 is a major weakness going into the offseason. I am also part of the group that believes that the Bills should spend draft resources to address the problem for one reason: WR #2 gets stupid money in free agency. Stupid money.

But there is always a case to be made for best pick available. Having something in the pipeline in case we roll box cars in the draft, or we take a guy with high upside but we want to ease in. So, here is a quick list at notable receivers that Spotrac has considered notable for the free agent class. I have exluded known slot receivers (We have Shakir and he's doing just fine)

For comparisons sake, let's start with a known quality. Gabe Davis. I believe that Gabe Davis was a very solid #3/4 option, but was badly inconsistent as a #2. According to Spotrac, he is expected to make an average of $13.6 M per year. That would be pricey for the Bills in 2024 and we would want an upgrade.

    So...here is the class

Most likely out of our price range

    Mike Evans

    OBJ

    Tyler Boyd

    Tee Higgins

    Michael Pittman Jr.

    Calvin Ridley

I put these out here not because I think they are fits, but because this is what the top end of the market will be getting. Now, if any one of those is not snapped up on Day 1 you absolutely make a call, but he is a more likely list of what will be waiting around on Day 2

    Curtis Samuel

    Nelson Aghalor

    Josh Reynolds

    Randall Cobb

    Darnell Mooney

So, any interest or are we all in on the draft?

    Good write-up.

That 2nd tier is not that inspiring, although Darnell Mooney would be intriguing. I would really love to make a play for Calvin Ridley, but you might be right that he could be too expensive.

Beane said he'd be crazy not sign Gabe Davis with the caveat at the right price. However, I feel like Beane's value of Davis is probably higher than it should be.

I've said this before, do not trust Beane with what he initially says, because most of the time he will do the opposite.

To be honest, as well as intended as it is, I hate when people who don't really care, or truly "know" how it feels try to console me. I was/am fairly depressed about the end of another season...I just assume not hear things like "at least they got there", or "they played really good"...I wish to Christ I had just called in sick to work today...because honestly, it's about as sick as I've felt in a while...of course I'll be back at draft time...schedule release...meaningless pre-season games...but right now I just want to feel bad, and get it out of my system. I've been a fan since I went to my first Bills game in 1973. I'm not stopping now...but, *****, it sucks sometimes!

    I get what you mean.

That being said, I'm already prepping for free agency and the draft. That's the best therapy for me.

That is what I want to know.

Who cares about the future right now?

KC just ended our season for the 3rd time in 4 years.

I mean... I can't even get myself to care about that right now.  And it's going to take a while.   I am amazed so many of you are able to do that - almost immediately - following a loss like this.

    Gotta have something to do.
