  1. This entire Ebron discussion is ridiculous. The bills have four tight ends under contract and have just resigned Chandler. How about drafting someone that we really need such as a starting tackle, a primary wideout, a destructive linebacker, or a safety?

I have nothing against Ebron, but I don't think drafting a TE at 9 is the best way to go.

I think Tight End can wait for the 2nd round. LB, OL & WR are more important.

  2. Same feelings here. Off field problems are a big risk with him. The fact that they are still looking at FA to fill out roster spots is encouraging.

Hopefully they find somebody that makes more sense than Britt.

I find it strange that they couldn't find time for James Jones, but they had time for this guy.

  3. I think all the Ebron chatter from OBD is just a smoke screen. Whaley wants trade back offers, and the Giants, Eagles, Lions and Panthers are all paying attention.

    <puts tin foil hat on>

    You are sure of this?

As for me, Mack, Watkins Or Robinson. If neither are there, trade down.

  4. You don't think we are going to draft a safety, do you?

I think Whaley is serious about rolling with who we have on the roster. I wouldn't mind grabbing Clemons, but I'd like to think one of the two safeties we drafted last year is good enough to start.

    Dear God, NO!

We have far too many needs to address than Safety with our first pick.

Although adding another veteran at this position is not a bad idea. If not Clemons, we could re-sign Jim Leonhard.

  5. 9er's & Pats* interested in Deshawn Jackson. So am I, frankly..

Count me in as interested too. You want a # 1 WR, you got one in Jackson. The big drawback is that he's due 10 million this year.

The Eagles willingness to trade a player that good should be a red flag.

It is suspicious, if true. Either the Eagles don't want to carry his contract or maybe Jackson is not getting along with Chip Kelly.

Also the Eagles would be putting a lot of faith into Jeremy Maclin, who is coming of a knee injury from last year.

  6. HALLELUJAH!

I love what Disney/Pixar do together with movies. Although I don't care for the "Cars" series, and I think that a sequel to "Finding Nemo" makes no sense at all, other than to make money, but this is great news.

There are so many things they can do with "The Incredibles" as a franchise. Thank God, it's a reality now.

  7.

Veteran free agent tight end Ed Dickson has been offered a contract to return to the Ravens, according to a source.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have also offered Dickson a contract.

Dickson has drawn interest from other NFL teams, including the Buffalo Bills, who re-signed tight end Scott Chandler after the start of free agency, the New York Jets and the New York Giants.

Hmmmm.....Does this indicate that the Bills are not looking to upgrade the TE position in the draft?

  8. Why were they not as good? Their Defense was outstanding even after a rash of injuries in the secondary...Cam held his own and they were very tough at Home...They beat San Fran on the road and only lost 12-7 to the SB Champs...Not sure how they were not as good as their record... B-)

Yeah I am not understanding the argument against the Panthers success last year either.

Now it's true they have lost a few players, and they desperately need to find someone for Newton to throw the ball too.

So while they do have some issues, the Panthers are still a strong team.

  9. If Byrd actually re-signs with the Bills, I wouldn't be surprised if this thread hits 200.

If Byrd signs with another team, it'll probably go to 120 and then people won't give a damn anymore.

Well it looks like I was a bit too optimistic in how much the fans would care about Byrd signing with another team.

  10. hope we get a primetime game at the Ralph this year. those games are always the most fun. MNF would be amazing but I doubt it

The Thursday Night games are arranged to be at a teams home if they were on the road the year before.

So look for the Bills Thursday Night game to be at the Ralph this year.

  11. The next Owners Meetings will be from March 23-26, that is when the schedule dates are figured out, and when the compensatory picks are announced.

Usually they announce a couple of games from this meeting. Look for the Kickoff Game, the first Sunday Night & Monday Night games, and maybe one or two late afternoon games in Week 1 to be announced.

Aside from that, the entire dates will more likely be announced in the middle of April.

  12. I have to say Mark I would be really hard pressed to trade down at that point. Now I grant you if someone really wanted him and ponied up more than one pick, you gotta listen to the offer

    I agree with you.

Watkins is a player I would take in a heartbeat, however if there was a team that made an offer we couldn't refuse, then I would consider making a trade.

Oh it's going to take forever for May to get here.
