  1. I thunk Hughes is a player so I am glad to hear this and hope it comes to fruition. Since Massare mentioned Hughes in the tweet, he better be right. Otherwise, Hughes is being told he is being extended by someone outside of the FO. So I would have to think he would not do that unless he was sure it was happening.

That said, I hope Dareus is also in the works. I know they are supposed to make a decision by early May.

If they are going to keep Hughes, now would be the best time to do it. If Hughes has another good year and then becomes a free agent, he will be gone.

I also hope Dareus is in the works too.

  2. My wife is actually willing to go see Captain America with me. I keep telling her that she's going to be very confused if she doesn't watch some of the earlier movies first. Obviously the first Captain America would be a must. Other than that, I think just Ironman, especially since I think she'll actually like that one.

So she hasn't seen any of the "Avengers" movies? She will be a little confused.

  3. or they are getting as many pieces as possible and there is some truth to the rumors of trading up to #1 with Houston so we can take Clowney or Mack.

How sweet would that be, in one offseason we pick up 3 Buffalo Boys that are all very good.

    That would be very sweet.

As for Mike Williams, this is not a player I had not even thought of as being available. Giving up just a 6th rounder for him is a great deal. Now, will it pay off? Difficult to say.

Nevertheless, the Bills have made some very solid moves this offseason. I believe this lessens the idea of drafting a WR in the 1st round.

It seems like it will wither be BPA or a trade down in the 1st round for the Bills. Both of which are fine with me.

  4. 5. Chris Brown@ChrisBrownBills 5m

#Bills hosting pre-draft visitors Clemson DB Bashaud Breeland & Duke CB Ross Cockrell. Details here. http://ow.ly/voOxH Just in case anyone can't get to the link. Interesting on all the DBs. Jauron-like.

    Also-

    Joe Buscaglia@JoeBuscaglia 1m

#Bills listed Breeland as a safety in the media advisory

Cockrell is interesting, although I don't know how high or low he'll be drafted. I don't really know anything about Breeland.

To me this sounds like Ron Brooks & Da'Norris Searcy are being put on notice.

  6. Roby, Seastrunk and Shazier are all there today per Bills text.

Seastrunk is an interesting player, wouldn't mind having him on the team.

Why Roby? We can't possibly be looking for another CB.

Shazier does not excite me as much as others. As far as OLB's go, I'd rather have Kyle Van Noy.

  7. I like Chandler too as a #2 TE but Niklas, Chandler and Moeaki sound like a good trio to me. Smith goes bye bye and Gragg to the PS.

I like the sound of that line-up.

I know I have stated that I don't think TE is as dire of a need as other positions, but I would be fine with drafting Niklas. I would just prefer to not draft a TE in the first round.

  8. Interesting that John Murphy is kind of playing down the Bills potentially signing him on his show tonight. You know what that means.

Also he said (maybe already mentioned on here) that he is reportedly looking for 9.5-10 mill/yr. Raiders, anyone?

If that's the case, and I don't doubt it, then it's got to be the Raiders. I just do not see any other team willing to pay him that much.
