  1. Offense: Kraig Urbik. A lot of people seem to be writing him off, but I wouldn't. I think he will be starting throughout the season. I know some people want to see Cyril Richardson take over, but I see Richardson as a project right now who will have to refine his game over the following season.

Defense: Manny Lawson. He should not be a DE, he's far better at OLB. He excels as a run defender and I hope he gets more opportunities at OLB.

  2. I ended up flipping a coin between Phily and GB. I thought about one of Seattle, SF or even the Rams but I think they end up beating the crap out of each other simply to get into the show and are too tired come the playoffs. It'll be Pats or Denver in the AFC.

Not sure about Phily's D but that offense will be spectacular. Don't forget that, after a slow start, Phily finished the season going 9-2.

No doubt that the Eagles are good, I just don't know if they are a Super Bowl team yet. But they do have a shot.

The Patriots are still contenders, but I think there are a few teams better than them in the AFC.

Believe me, I am wholly aware of how the Eagles finished their season.

  3. This is where i stand currently. Give Seantrel reps till he throws up . Respect the starters.

Only thing about that for me will be getting the starting O line sorted as soon as possible before letting the rooks and such get the most reps at full speed .

But i guess thats the balance in camp that Marrone decides . not me.

i still have my suspicions about Coach Doug as an O line guy . They need to make better decisions than were done last year

Yes, let's see if Henderson is our steal of the draft.

I like that you recognize Jacksonville as taking a leap forward, they have added some good players.

  5. Hey Mark I think you guys hopefully will beat the Bears. Their defense was not nearly the same last year as it was in the past. A matter of fact it was the worst Bears defense I have seen since the 90's. They did add Jared Allen to their defensive line though so that should help. It is in Chicago though so that will be tough. Their offense actually on the other hand was the best I have seen ever actually. They got Alshon Jeffries, that kid is a stud and also Brandon Marshall so your defense will be put to the test early. If you can get pressure on Cutler then he folds like a lawnchair then the Bills have a shot to win. It will be a tough opener though.

Yes, indeed it will be tough.

I think the league has to take the Bears seriously this year. They made some good moves in the offseason and they have a real shot at the Super Bowl.

  6. A threat yes but the details are too limited to gauge it.

My own take see's it as this:

    A group of owners

Have enough to buy the team

Not enough to pay the relocation fee

Not enough to build a new stadium in Toronto

    Pegula (if he does bid):

    Liquid worth

Enough money to buy the team

Enough money to build a new stadium when though tax payers will fork in

    Single owner

    Well put.

  7. I don't think Pears will make it because he will be too expensive to keep as a back-up, and they can go with Hairston.

Legursky has more experience, but Asper has more upside. I go with Asper on that one.

I agree that we will keep both Kickers.

This will probably be Moorman's last season as a Bill.

  8. I don't know how this is going to play out any more than the rest of you. But man JBJ is sure getting a lot of press about this.

Of course he is. Jon Bon Jovi is a public figure that everybody knows. The media will make a big deal about this because he has a chance to become an NFL Owner with instant name recognition.

How many people in the country know who Terry Pegula or Bob Golisano are, compared to Bon Jovi?
