  1. It's not unexplainable: it's usually because of a lack of attention or negative attention by their fathers. They equate being treated like sh-- by men as a sign of love. And then they hope that they can change them into a family man. It's a sickness. Move along.
  2. So that's what cheapskate Kraft spends his money on: ugly-ass SB rings.
  3. My Lindy's from 2003 said that Gandy was "a pleasant surprise at LT" for the Bears. I think McNally can get a lot more out of him.
  4. I agree with banging every one of her friends that you can. If she gets pissed, good. Don't try and get back with her, just move on.
  5. The hurry-up is best-used sporadically. So I think they could use it this year if they wanted.
  6. I don't usually either, unless they make stupid comments like Gilmour did.
  7. ...and donate a large percentage of the "gross product" to the needy.
  8. I'd agree with you IF I didn't believe that Travis intends to make good on his "I'll never play for the Bills again" statement. And even if he just sits out 8 games (to get a year towards UFA) and suits up for the rest, he's pretty much useless to the Bills.
  9. That's it. Must be a large difference in age between the 2 bros, because he's been working with him for awhile.
  10. Seemed like a nice guy when I used to see him on TV (on a weekly TV show with Tom Waddle and another ex-Bear, maybe Dan Hampton). Never had anything good to say about the Bills, though. They took a big hit once the internet got big and the loss of Joel Buschbaum. I used to look forward to their draft preview issues many years ago because that was the ONLY place you could find players' stats, although it only consisted of height, weight, speed, and overall grade (which was better than nothing). Doesn't one of his other sons work for him at the mag? Maybe Hub Jr.?
  11. The ONLY team I heard mentioned as being potentially interested in RW if he came back was the Raiders, but that was well before they signed Lamont Jordan to a ridiculously stupid deal. They're the only team interested in malcontents. I just don't see anyone trading a late draft pick at best for a guy who at least will miss 1/4 of the season, and needs to add a lot of weight/muscle and get himself into playing shape, both of which won't be easy.
  12. I could have told you that BEFORE they removed her feeding tube.
  13. I don't know. How much would YOU give for a guy who sat out of football last year because he lost his desire to play, found it when he needed cash to pay the bills, lost 30# of weight and is not even CLOSE to being in football shape yet, and who will have to serve a 4-game suspension? Add to that that he said he wanted to play 1 or maybe 2 more years, and didn't want to be a workhorse. I wouldn't trade a thing for him.
  14. Several posts above I said they'd still be good, just not winning SB's. And as I said, every team's run ends. It's just the law of averages.
  15. Refresh my memory, but wasn't it members of Ray Ray's entourage that killed that guy (or guys, I can't remember and don't really care), and wasn't that guy (or guys) trying to rob them?
  16. Be glad you weren't murdered.
  17. It's been months since her autopsy and they said that the results would be released weeks after it was done. Anyone heard of anything here?
  18. Anyone who expects JP to have a year like an experienced vet, they're expecting way too much. Hell Roethlisberger's year last year wasn't as great as everyone made it out to be, other than he was a rookie starter, and was akin to Brady's first year as a starter with the Pats, i.e. they didn't make loads of mistakes and let the running game, defense, and ST's win games. That's what we should expect of JP. Nothing more. If he does do more, great.
  19. Yeah they'll be "primed," but it won't happen. We can make a bet on it if you'd like, and if you're so confident about it happening, I'm sure you've already placed a sizable bet. Every successful run ends and the Pats aren't immune to that, much as your fantasies would like to tell you otherwise. The Pats have shown that it's mostly coaching. They've had some major coaching upheaval. Anyone can see that. Well, almost anyone. Coaching losses plus player losses equals no SB this year. Then next year Pioli bolts, the players get a year older and the other teams get better. Get the picture? Ah but no, the Pats will win every SB until Belichick and Brady leave.
  20. Sure Gandy has had coaches throughout his playing time. He hasn't had a coach as good as McNally though. Remember when Bruce Smith said that no NFL coach taught him anything until John Levra came aboard (late in Bruce's career)? Gandy has had lousy coaching since he entered the NFL. They felt that they had gotten all they could out of him at LT, moved him to OG, and then he got hurt, and the team released because of that. They also drafted Marc Colombo in the 1st round to play LT, and have had to justify their selection by playing him, even though he's worse than Gandy. What I meant is there's no point in talking about his cap hit. It is what it is. You can't change that now. Just be happy that he's already in-shape, motivated, and ready to dominate. Oh and he proved to be an above average RT by the end of last season, and I expect to see him build off of that this year. And no I wouldn't have wanted to pay Jennings or Pat what they were demanding, given injury and age concerns. Sure the money could have been better used elsewhere, but not on those players IMHO. McNally has now been with the Bills for a year. He's drafted some players he's liked and is in the process of grooming them. I didn't expect him to produce any gems last year, but I think we'll start to see them soon. Drafting high round talent and paying top dollar isn't always the answer.
  21. No night would have been the right night. Same with the girl.
  22. True. People fly into a jealous rage over people for whom they feel nothing.
  23. Again no team cares about the money part. As for the gas station part, yeah it's a black eye for the team, but as I said, players have done a lot worse and no one got hurt in this instance, except for Travis.
  24. I'll accept your admission of defeat. Enjoy the past 4 years because it's over. Maybe someday the NFL will give the Bills a SB win (or two) and then they'll earn one on their own.
  25. Yeah, that's common practice. Most waiters go the home of a patron who happens to be beautiful, rich, and the ex of a former football star, to return their sunglasses. It's about as smart as getting drunk on a foreign island and driving off with 3 strange men. Not saying they deserved what happened, that it's right, etc., but keep yourself out of stupid situations and most of the time you'll be alright.
