That story is based on ESPN's report. I'm just trying to be optimistic and all because I think Pickett would be a pretty good fit, that way we can spend our draft picks on offensive lineman.

Anybody find it odd that only ESPN is reporting Pickett as signed by Green Bay? Word travels fast nowadays and the fact that nobody else has said boo on it, makes it seem fishy. Anybody remember the whole Damian Woody to Buffalo ESPN report a couple years ago?

I must admit, I admire the players association for even considering prolonging the salary cap. Any other pro sport, they would be whining like little babies (see NHLPA). It's refreshing. GIT ER DONE!!!!

The Bills next hire will reveal at lot about the franchise and whether or not they (Ralph) are committed to winning a championship. I find it interesting that during the Marv Levy press conference that Ralph kept using the terminology "Improve the product". The Bills need a head coach of great calibre and very quickly to re-establishment some brand equity and credibility for the new coaching staff and the upcoming free agent market. Is Ralph going to open up his wallet? If Ralph doesn't pay the league average for a head coach you can be sure that the Bills will never win a championship under Ralph Wilson. That's how I see it.

We need a killer interior line to be a smash mouth team. Finesse Teague, False start Bennie and Injured Villarrial aren't good enough.

No No and NO!!! Jason Peters is slowly developing into a very outstanding lineman. I'm hoping the Bills move him to LT. I think he can be that good.

Channel 4 also said several other defensive coaches have been let go, which makes sense with a new co-ordinator. Here's a case where the ties in Pittsburgh can be beneficial with Dom Capers. I'd love to see a 3-4 back. Don't know if Schobel would be as effective with it since he'd be lining up on the tackles inside shoulder instead of his outside shoulder. I don't know if Sam Adams can play that two gap tackle we would need either. Oh well, it's fun to think about it!

While I'm intrigued....I really want a proven NFL head coach.

DUDE!!!! We have Mike fricken Gandy there right now!!! I don't think he'd do any worse!!!! Now we need somebody to light a fire under Mike Williams (I know the shear volume fire needed is enormous).....just for once, I'd like to see Bill Parcells or a Mike Ditka type come in here and scream at him. It would be worth the price of admission I think.

I agree that Gandy has done well. I have no problem with him being our 3rd offensive tackle as a back up.

Martz' pass happy offense would never fly in 30 mph swirling winds of the Ralph. Most of it is complicated timing routes that leave only 5-6 guys into block. We can't block a fat girl with max protection!!!

This guy is developing into a very solid tackle for us. Why not put him at LT next year? He's easily our most athletic lineman. I'd love us to pick up Hutchinson, cut Teague's bull rush prone butt and pick up some quality draft picks. Oh and as for the draft....I'm hoping for Ngata!!! Your thoughts?

Why the heck we're throwing the ball downfield in conditions like that yesterday??? Our receivers run pretty good after the catch. If I was the offensive co-ordinator yesterday, I'd be throwing 5-7 yards routes and let the WR rumble in the snow. I don't understand Mularkey at all! All you need is for one DB to fall down or over pursue a WR and they're gone, exactly like Josh Reed was for the touchdown in garbage time. Where were the crossing routes? Pathetic game plan. If the Bills don't take a LT with their top 5 pick.........

I wish traffic was unimpeded!!!! It took me 4.5 hours to get to Burlington Ontario!!! Of course we couldn't get out of the Bills parking lot until 6 pm.

I watched big Mike at left guard for the first 3 series and when he was was blocking 1 on 1 he did very well. He pulled pretty good on a counter run we ran and did a good job run blocking. He was very slow recognizing a basic DE/DT stunt twice and the second one he missed was the one that got Holcombe killed. As a new guard, you have to be thinking and anticipating the other team would run stunts to take advantage of you in a new position. I don't think his head is in the game to be honest with you.

I could have saved a whole lot of money by switching to Geico!!!

I'm not going to get excited again until TD addresses both our lines with quality free agents and/or draft picks. This team will go down as 5-11 for the rest of the season at best. PLAY JP!!! Let him take his lumps!
