    I don’t understand this strategy either. The only time to think about that is if we draft a player and he develops into a better OT.

    We don’t need to replace him. A lot has to happen before moving Dawkins. It’s a lot easier to just draft an OG or sign one.

    I feel like the Dolphins and Jets each had a couple off-seasons where they were supposed to challenge the Patriots. Never really did. I think both teams have really talented teams. Always comes down to QB. Jets, Bills, and Dolphins always got it wrong during the Patriots dominance.

    Wouldn’t mind but I think they are going to add a more seasoned slot WR to compete with Shakir. I think it’ll be Landry.

    Didn’t do anything last year. Had injuries the last couple years. Would be very cheap. I’m sure he can still play in an offense like ours. I like him mostly because he’s going to be very cheap. I don’t care about a blindside block.

    My guess is the Bills sent him an extension that was low.

    Not at 27. It’s rare to have that many 1st round grades. That’s basically a 2nd round pick. That’s why I’m always in favor of trading down and getting whatever you can.

    Late 1st and early 2nd isn’t the worst spot to grab a safety. You’re hopefully getting the best in the draft.

    It fits our immediate needs better as well being a slot WR. We need some speed and youth on the outside.

    I think if there’s an aging WR they sign it’ll be Jarvis Landry. They’ve tried to get Landry in the past. Beane likes to keep trying to get WRs he’s missed on. Now we have his close friend and personal coach as WR coach.

    We’re until proven otherwise but roster wise the Bills have work to do if they lose Poyer and Edmunds.

    They’re already there with competent QB play and young players developing, Wilson becoming a true WR1.

    I’m just looking at the rosters. Adding Rodgers makes a huge difference. Just like if you took Josh away from the Bills it would make a huge difference. Rodgers is much better than what they had.

    If we needed a redzone guy I would say yeah but Knox and Gabe are redzone guys. He’ll offer depth for sure but I don’t see much upside possibility. I don’t want him replacing Davis, makes us slower. In the slot he’d be reliable, which is an upgrade but I don’t know about his separation ability at this point in his career.

    Positions I would target in free agency are S, ILB, OG, and a veteran pass rusher.

    Personally I think they’re replaceable players but they are quality young dependable starters in the league. Beane will have to swallow his pride to let both go. Shows he made mistakes. I don’t think he will.

    Lowers his cap hit now. I think Oliver and Edmunds are very similar players. Dependable, durable, and good scheme fits but neither player is a difference maker.
