will he still think she is just a trophy if she is nominated for VP on the Presidential ticket in '08? This guy is just a loser looking for ratings. -
I have to say it.....

yep....he is comin' around. -
i am definately not criticizing him. I love the guy. I just sort of hope to see him bust off an 80 yard run. (maybe without a flag thrown )
-
I just have to ask again....does anyone else think he looks slow? Is it a guarantee he will regain his pre-injury speed? I know the OL wasn't opening gapping holes for him to run through....and other than his one long run...he showed no burst.

Not sure if anyone who plays Fantasy Football knows www.fantasyindex.com It is from the magazine Fantasy Football Index. Probably my favorite preseason FF mag. The editor is a guy named Ian Allen. He has a weekly Q&A and he lists two questions about the Bills this week. The first one regarding their schedule. I disagree with him on his answer since he doesn't take into consideration the road games. He makes an interesting point on Travis Henry in the second question. Q. Which teams have the easiest schedules in December? A. Buffalo's four games in December against teams that are currently a combined 9-27. Next in line are the Falcons, Broncos and Patriots. The Jets, Steelers, Packers and Ravens, meanwhile, project to play the hardest schedules in December. If you prefer to look at points rather than winning percentage, than the easiest schedules belong to Atlanta, Tennessee, Oakland and Kansas City, while the teams facing the toughest defenses would be the Giants, Bengals, Steelers and Dolphins. We update schedule difficulty information each week in our Scheduletron feature, which can be accessed through the main page of the web site. Q. Travis Henry is not even getting on the field anymore. What do you think of his chances of being traded to a team ripe with picks but in need of a back like him, like the Eagles? Or to Indianapolis if the Colts don't re-sign Edgerrin James? A. Henry will be a starter somewhere, that's for sure. He's too good to be a backup, and he probably wouldn't be happy sitting behind Willis McGahee. I'd bet the Cardinals and Raiders would love to get their hands on Henry. If I were running an NFL team, I'd rather use a second-round pick on Henry than a rookie. Henry is a proven guy, and he'd join the team right away and attend all the offseason minicamps. With rookies, there can be holdouts, and there are rules limiting contact between the player and team before school gets out in mid-June. The Patriots traded a second-rounder for Corey Dillon, and he's been a lot better than the tailbacks selected between 26th and 43rd in the draft: Chris Perry, Kevin Jones, Tatum Bell and Julius Jones.

i flipped through the book when i saw it on the shelf....and although i didn't check the actual page count i was impressed by how thick it was...so it probably is 419 pages. as far as the book cover...the actual book cover i saw is the one with Marv and Bruce.

How long does one serve in this position?

".....oh the humanity!"

here is little diddy that annoys me just enough for me to make a post about it. i would disagree with Mickey slightly. The term "Christmas" is subltely being removed. Call some local Museums or other non-for profit organizations....and ask what their hours are. They will say something to the effect of: "We are open every day of the year except December 25th and New Years Day." December 25th huh? Why not say Christmas? If you call them and ask....why are you closed on December 25th? They will say because of the "holiday". If you ask them, "which Holiday"....they finally break down and spit out the word "Christmas". what gives?

The market for Travis Henry
OnTheRocks replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the potential attraction for teams in looking at Henry is I think he still has one more season on his contract that is VERY CAP FRIENDLY. a team looking for a quick fix for cap space...and a long term help at the position would certainly be looking at Henry before signing James, or some of the other players who will require an immediate large dollar bonus. -
It's Nice To See Some OL Discussion Here
OnTheRocks replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agreed... i have been saying this ever since i watched a 2nd (possibly a 3rd string quality) QB in Mark Rypien tore the Bills a new one in the Super Bowl. Was it because Rypien was a HOF QB? Well that is a silly question. Of course not...it wasn't even that much to do with coaching as it was the fact the HOGS gave the QB enough time to sit in the pocket and build an "erector set"....read a magazine...and then have a cup of coffee before he decided the throw the ball. To be perfectly honest..i even think Bledsoe would look good behind a "HOG" style line. -

you mention "contradictions" in the Bible....i don't know if you would have an interest in reading an article that refutes that...but here is a good one: http://www.gospelcom.net/rbc/ds/q0403/ -

I can only hope you are right....but i guess i am a bit more cynical and i can see a day in the future where the peds. will be protected. I hope to God I am wrong....but in my opinion....I think it is coming and i think it will be more and more prevelant as time goes on. It has been fun discussing this. REALLY. It has...I mean that. I personally like to use the word "DEBATE" rather than argue....or fight....because i think that it is good to get these topics out in the open and make people aware of how the general public considers these issues. I am however going to do my best not to jump back out of this thread...as i think we have come to a place of having to agree to disagree. and when you push past that point...comments get nasty and unkind.
