then i would suggest watching the games, and not coming to discussion boards, if you want to watch games instead of hearing discussion about them.
The snarky accuracy of this comment had me chuckling.

"What exactly does a FAN of a PROFESSIONAL football team.....owned by a billionaire with an anti-trust exemption........have to do to qualify as having "their crap together"?"
Not being able to answer that question is the baseball bat to the face of your argument. Knocked the f*ck out!
You guys need to realize that it's not you against the fans and the media.......it's about the organization managing personnel well, game planning effectively, executing and showing mental toughness..........they once again NEED to get better in at least two or three of those regards.......and it really shouldn't be as hard as they've made it look year after year.
SMH, I love when people make my point for me. Nobody said the Bills don't deserve criticism. Tyrod looked awful today, and Roman called a miserable game. The point of my first post in this thread called you out for being hypocritical. The seconded called you out for trying to cover your butt in case the Bills did well today, well, congrats, they didn't, so you didn't need the hedge after all . But jesus man, every one of your posts reads like you are the drunk frat boy that wandered into the nerd house, and you are looking to hand out wedgies to any nerd that dare defy you. Baseball bat to the face? You can't possibly live like this in real life. Maybe try civil discourse, consider occasionally agreeing to disagree? This is a place where Bills fans congregate to discuss football in a reasonable setting, isn't it?

No that's just your perverted take.
What exactly does a FAN of a PROFESSIONAL football team.....owned by a billionaire with an anti-trust exemption........have to do to qualify as having "their crap together"?
The NFL ain't St. Joe's high school.
People who assign even a shred of blame to Bills fans for the organizations losing are just plain irrational(at best).
The NFL is a product.......on the field organizations are judged by wins and losses.........so yeah, if they don't win......they EARN the criticism for the product they put on the field.
If they don't win for 16 f*cking years they deserve to be laughed at more than anything.
Personally, I think they could win 10-11 games and make some noise in the playoffs.......less talented teams have done it before.....but I fully understand why they are being written off.
They've EARNED it.
And remember......they got a vigorous fluff job last offseason and still couldn't get it up on gamedays so what is the difference whether the fans or media Billieve or not?
Nice hedge, lol. You sanctimoniously talk all offseason about how they suck and won't amount to crap and that the team has no shot at anything, and then you sneak that little 10-11 game comment into the mix just so if they do well, you can say that you always knew they could do it. You are clearly more vested in being right than seeing the bills win, and that is insufferable, at least to me. If you really are a Bills fan, I hope that all of your heavy handed negativity is wrong for BOTH of our sakes, and that today the Bills kick off what is going to be a great season.

How I'm gonna drag my ass into work Monday after drinking all afternoon.
Damn, I forget that one every off season.

So for those of us keeping score at home, when you B word abou the team, its ok, because unlike anyone in the Bills organization, you have your crap together. But when someone calls you a B word for being overly critical, they are just bitches? If you find yourself evaluating if people are fun at parties........then you probably are not fun at parties.
Been around some of our homers here at tailgates and just like they B word about fans here they B word about them(and everything else) at the tailgate.
And yes, there is a difference between criticizing a professional organization that hasn't even reached the minimum standard for a successful season once in 16 years and BITCHING about fans who still support them.
My position is that this area is where you can achieve a more in depth football discussion.........if you gotta' B word at the tailgate you are just lazy or probably a B word by nature.
And I am most worried about our offense having suceess keeping the defense off the field.
-
Seruious or just hyperbole?I am not sure I've ever seen Wrecks make effective adjustments on defense?

Jimbo on NFLNET:
Health is good, trying to help make differences today for people fighting for their tomorrows.
Most underrated from his Bills years, Daryll Talley. Bruce often did his own thing (rushing the passer, etc). Even Marino says that Talley was the best that he played against. He was a character on and off the field (fur coat story).
4 years in a row brought the team together, he's proud to say he was a bill
Best cure for Panthers Super Bowl hangover, know what the feeling was like of losing, keep fighting and working to win for yourself, family, and fans. Look back on his 4 years and still feels bad, but is proud of himself overall.
Now plugging his line of gameday greats, which consists of salt and pepper grinders, money clip, keyrack and various other assorted crap branded with your favorite NFL and college teams. Selling sauces, etc

Gleason or Sully? I don't click there anymore.
Skurski. Don't bother, he is just trolling. Honestly, it must embarrassing for him to have to write this kind of article.
http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/marcell-dareus-7718/
One of the main points I think the article should've delved into is the amount of guaranteed and front loaded money in the large contracts Whaley has signed players to. Players like Dareus can screw up, but they can't be cut for years due to their dead money. It's definitely a risky strategy and while I won't say it's definitely a bad move - at least not in every case - it's certainly something that's worth debating.
This would have made it a much more interesting and intelligent article, but alas Skurski decided to only fish with clickbait on this outing.

by nfl standards, we are already pretty much there. 3 established top end vets, a young promising guy and sorting out 1 position is about the most you ever get. Paired with an excellent position coach and OC for the group.... i think youd be hardpressed to put many teams overall offensive line situations above us.
Agreed for this year, I think the line will do us well, providing that Mills holds up his end of the bargain. But Wood and Incognito aren't young bucks anymore, and the team should address that issue before it becomes a problem.

I miss Hogan too. In fact I miss the entire show. Colonel Klink, Sergeant Schultz, and all the boys. It was quite entertaining, unlike this thread.
Sooooo, Nazi sympathizer?

Eating a garbage plate in the light of day, is that really a thing? It was my understanding that Nick Tahou's isn't visible to the human eye prior to six beers after sundown.
-
My dear lord. You went there?
Fair enough good sir. You win. I'll take Rex forever if it means we don't have to live with that alternative
There was no where else we needed to go. The NFL is a game played by a bunch of gigantic 20 something meatheads, many of whom were raised dirt poor and weren't taught right from wrong. They are going to screw up from time to time.

Did anyone happen to DVR the Buffalo feed of last Saturday's Giants game? I was at the game with my kids, and I believe that they may have made it on TV with Billy the Buffalo around 6:45pm, and was wondering if anyone had it DVR'd.

Why would anyone consult with a coach who's mental?
Nobody is going to touch this? Well, BOOOOO!!!!!!!!
And for the record, i'm not cheering BOOOOOurns......

Is it per seat? So if I owned a block Id get one for every seat, or is it per holder?

Maybe its a chronic appointment skipping rehab? It wasn't reduced because he missed the test, a missed test equals a failed test 100% which equals a 4 game suspension in their respective cases. The case of Bell is that there was questions on how much of it was his fault and how much of it was the testers fault. Evidently, there was enough of something that they didn't feel it was all Bells fault and reduced it on appeal.
Based on everything thats come out of Dareus case, I don't see any reduction coming from him. He's definitely been apologetic and seems to have taken full responsibility on his side for having missed the test. Unless some new information comes out suggesting there were some other factors, it appears to me that Dareus is fully at fault. And to be honest, based on the fact he has checked himself into rehab suggests to me that he missed the test because he didn't want to take the test because he was going to fail the test. You don't check into rehab because you forgot an appointment...you check into rehab because of you have a substance control issue and need help.

I am not thrilled with the Karlos or Dareus situation either, but some of us Bills fans are way over reactionary. If Sammy rips through the TP on a wipe, 1/3rd of us are looking to have the janitor fired for not loading the two-ply, another 1/3 are blaming Whaley for not anticipating the poopy fingers on an organizational level and the rest are certain that Sammy will catch ecoli because so fragile that he caught ecoli.
But seriously, I am of the ilk that Id rather swing and miss on a few of these guys than have a team full of Kelsays, wouldn't you?
-
Thanks gramps, but I'm not the one who told the fanbase "get ready, 'cuz we're goin" (to the playoffs) only to have the team flame out at 8 wins... I'm not the one who proclaimed "we won the off-season", only to have the roster collapse in a firestorm of injuries, and suspensions.... I'm not the one who proclaimed "we're NOT giving up on Karlos" only to have the kid cut just days later... I'm not the one who gave Rob Ryan a job after he 'coordinated' one of the worst defenses in NFL history....
Embarassing, you say? -This whole situation is embarassing... You don't feel it because your'e one of the unfortunate sheep being taken for a ride by Rex, Rob, and Doug... Bottom line: It's a sad day in my life when I care what a guy like you thinks.
I think everyone needs to take a deep breath, we are very deep at RB. With KW's weight, pot and concussion issues, it is probably for the best, but the timing is a little off. Oh, and stop watching Rex's pressers. They are for the media anyway, not Bills fans.
-
Yeah, but this:I think Bills fans are quite loyal. It's Giants fans who are the opposite of that. We rip our players so often because we lose. Trust me, any two time Super Bowl winning QB in Buffalo would be held in a much higher esteem than Giants fans hold Eli Manning's legacy. Giants fans only exist when they win.

What about this:
"Tip O' The Cap"
or just the Tip?

Definetly is. But I called it dude. Billsvet manifesto is coming !
Nailed it.
Nothing like a little failure porn to get these guys all lathered up....
-
Where's Scott and BALDOL?
-
Eeeee.... I gotta differ on this one... I mean, just from a 'body of work' standpoint, there just ain't no way... Goodwin thought he was a track-star too, and how'd that work out?... At best, he could be considered a mid-range potential... That's IF he stays healthy... If he doesn't, he's completely out of the sport in two years... Unless the Argos, or Alouettes need a guy.
Woods beats him hands down when it comes to production... In Goodwins case, that extends to talent by default.
Canadian Olympian!!!

These guys should all be doing bone stretches before any activity.I blame the Bills medical staff.
Questions I would love a reporter to ask Rex
