I'm pretty sure Trump would have been content with being an NFL Owner worth $9 billion than ruining his life, I mean run for President. I think he speaks his mind and acts. Not sure where that will take us but, he has balls like no other current politician. The Mexican Government has got to love him. The pressure is off their corrupt and inept policies and actions.

After an election some time this millennium, I was reminded by a neighbor that "half of all Americans are dumber than the average American."
Any one who wants anything to do with Trump on any level other than watching one of his televised train wrecks, is below the median. And the only redeaming quality to any of his television programing is the occasional glimpse of a celebrity with a genuine human side. It is never Trump.

That's pretty sound reasoning from F******e Von Clownstick. He says if he gets the nomination he will win the Latino vote because he will create jobs. "I will create jobs and Latinos will have jobs they don't have now and I will win that vote."
Ummmmmm... Don't you have to get the job to create the jobs they don't have now so they can vote for you?
Guess we wouldn't have any illegal immigrants on the team. How many have made it to the NFL? Trump overplayed his hand with that speech but the biggest mistake he made was not emphasizing that illegal means law breaker. In any case, glad we don't have Donald; I'll take Terry any time.
Anyone with half a brain can tell this country is on an uptick. All these haters of the hard work that's been done have their heads in the sand.
So much for keeping it non-political.
But if it was a choice b/w him and BonJon, I think I take Trump, if only to keep a chance of keeping the team in Buffalo. I mean he's icky, but at least he didn't write Bad Medicine.

Some like yourself say he will never evolve into what Big Ben has evolved into, or what Flacco has evolved into. Others said we cannot expect this growth to continue. Others said you cannot pay him on what his projected arc is but on what others have become already (apparently in their 10th or so seasons).
Contacts are based on projection and age as well as on past performance. Wilson has an A+ on all of those.
This is my entire point. Andy Dalton and Kaep have clear weaknesses. Most people that watch pro football thought that Daltons stats were way overrated by his receivers and he wasn't very good because of his rag arm and bad decision making. Kaep had all kinds of weaknesses. Those are the guys that plateau.
A taller quarterback wouldn't have thrown that terrible Super Bowl interception.

I don't think many posters in this thread understand what the word "owner" means.
And as for capping individual players salaries, that means that we couldn't offer anything more than teams like San Diego, Miami, New York, or New Orleans. Talk about your competitive disadvantage.

I for one hate direct TV. The only decent thing about it is the football package, and it's unfair that the rest of us have to choose their terrible cable service if we want to watch out of market football. Personally, I usually go to the bars on Sundays too, but I would greatly prefer to watch football all day on Fios at home. Unfortunately, the best case we have is to wait until 2022 for the contract to expire. Unless DTV goes under before then....

oh gosh really? i had no idea of the record. Thanks for that fact. And that was not the point. I enjoy any games we win and even some we lose, I dont need playoffs nor superbowls to be a fan, but i do need a group of guys i like, which is why i dont watch a game of nba anymore since they are mostly primadonnas. But again, very insightful, I thought we were a top tier team until you mentioned we were terrible.
You can't have a team full of Chris Kelsays and Coy Wires and compete at a professional level, which is why I pointed it out. If you're ok with 6-10 for the rest of your life so be it, many around here are not. And ironically, I don't want Ray Rice on the team either, but not for the same reasons you don't.

That team was pretty terrible, for the record.Freds and Kyle are the only real core remnants of the team I watched for the last 10 years.

I like to halve those mini bell peppers and stuff them with a mix of sausage, mushroom, onions, egg, mozz, and a little breadcrumb. THen cover it all in cheese, layer them in a tinfoil pan, and cook on the grill. INdrect is best, but direct is nice to, because the peppers actually roast.
