I almost never hear him bad talk a player ever. He is always the most rose colored idiot I've ever heard. I get it he works for the Bills but sometimes it would be nice to hear him actually get into the players.
So he isn't publicly badmouthing what essentially mounts to his coworkers on the radio? Who exactly is the real idiot here?

Ok....so, bring in a guy still in his 20's that was our best receiver for a stretch last year catching balls from Tyrod.
And people have a problem with this because?..... He's going to WEAKEN our stable of backup receivers? Come on man, Percy is a baller. If he gets hurt then we're not any worse off than we are now.

Draft the best available one with your first round pick every year and the problem will get resolved.
Then go bpa at valued positions from there on out and fill in the "holes" on the roster with cheap free agents.
You won't miss those first round picks if you are getting top QB play and getting value in the rest of your drafts........with good QB play the Bills could have kept winning this year without Dareus, Watkins, Gilmore etc.........
First round QB's are under team control for 5 years and there is something about competition that brings out the best in players.
I went back to all of the Bills' drafts since Whaley entered the organization to see what that would look like if we drafted the next selected QB in the first round instead of our actual first rounder. The results show that this would have left us with a shell of a team.

We are also 4th worse at 3 and outs - only the Fins, Rams, & 49ers are worse (aka bad teams we played). 3 and outs in the Miami heat are a huge reason why our defense faded in the 2nd half.
'You can get away with 3 and outs against crappy Qbs like Case Keenum and Kaepernick. Not so much against Big Ben and Brady.

How is that fumbling working out for you guys? I hear it is worse this year for some reason.
It's hard not to fumble when the refs stop allowing you to let all of the air out of the ball so you can roll it up and tuck it under your shoulder pads.

Its seems simple, right?
1. Jam Gronk at the LOS, hard, every play. Chop block him with the DEs if needed.
2. When Blount is on the field so is Spikes.
3. Disguise coverages.
4. Get pressure up the middle. MD will help a lot here if he plays.

As for the OP, I agree that the Bills can keep it very interesting, bit more than anything we need McCoy. The trainers should lock him in an icebath for 2 weeks to get ready for the Shehawks. Give TD Mike his day with the Pats, and keep our fingers crossed that Bob Woods is good to go. We have the talent to hang with any team, including Brady and co.

His game isn't built for "clutch" drives. It's built for big plays and game management. He makes big plays with his legs, arm, and improvisation. He rarely allows his team to get beat in the turnover battle. That combination is enough for him to be the best or among the best post playoff drought QB's we have had. It is enough to make the playoffs and even win a Super Bowl so long as he has an incredible complimentary squad. He is not to ever going to be a franchise guy in a traditional sense. He will always struggle to win with his arm and be consistent enough in execution to sustain game winning drives in clear passing situations. Not worth 20 million+ in my opinion. At the same time we will likely hurt as a result of his departure more than we gain. Blaming him as often as we see lately would indicate to me most people think he is hurting is. He isn't hurting us. His predecessor likely will hurt us. That said he isn't helping a great deal either. He provides a chance to win every game. That's what he does.

Russell Wilson is hurt, ankle and kner. Without the threat of him running defenses dont have to keep as honest. That game is very winnable, contrary to what some on here think.Seattle game was a snoozer last night I only made halftime but that offense looked pretty bad.
