  1. You have excellent taste in beauty, my friend.
  2. I heart my T1s.
  3. Oh okay, very cool. Did you go to H.S. in Rochester or had you moved by then? I'm an HF-L grad, myself.
  4. I've actually wondered why in the world more acts haven't considered that. Especially when the criticism is, "you guys can't hold an audience's attention for a 45 min set in Vegas". So just join up with another act, or even two acts, and create a mini-variety show. I'd sure as hell rather see that than to have to endure more singers...we get enough singers on the singing shows. I want to see something INTERESTING.
  5. Seems like it's been forever since I've seen my girl Ana Ivanovic...she's a hottie
  6. lol, true...hard to watch that one
  7. Thanks...I'll add SkyFire since you're like the third person who suggested it to me.
  8. Yep, the watch ESPN app was what I was hoping would work, but doesn't look like DirecTV is one of the providers that allows for watching the streams on the app...major bummer Yep, even for someone who only sees Italy in the major tourneys, it's very easy to see the contrasts between this current team and the 2006 champs...and of course the Germans have shifted their approach, as well, so that makes things all the more interesting. I need to find a way to take off for this match...I'm not going to be productive at work anyway, cause I'll just be trying to follow the action lol.
  9. Thanks Flapster...do you know if that will work on my ESPN mobile app?
  10. Wouldn't surprise me at all...I've always thought he had a silver spoon stuck up her arse. I love this tourney...so many amazing memories from my childhood watching the matches with my family. I grew up with this sport and it's always been important to me, and I love watching Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. I usually check out the French finals as well, but never had much interest in the Aussie Open. Hopefully the next two weeks will be a lot of fun.
  11. I definitely agree with your coach that Germany can be beaten, but after seeing Italy play a few matches this tourney I'm convinced that we'll be able to score on you without too much of a problem. In 2006 your defense was just nuts...clearly they were the best team in the world and they deserved to win the WC. But the current team seems like an entirely different animal to me just based on what I've seen over the last couple weeks. If Balotelli finds the right combination of psych meds before Thursday, you guys could put up a goal or two on us for sure...hopefully he'll be as bipolar and inconsistent for this match as he's been this entire tourney, though. I have to work Thursday, so I need to find a way to still see the match... ...anyone know if it will be shown online?? Where are you, Wayne? The UK?
  12. I'm fully expecting Italy to look absolutely nothing like how they played yesterday. The current version of your team is just completely unpredictable, to say the least. I gained a lot of confidence seeing how the Germans responded when Greece kicked them in the shins with that (beautiful) goal to tie it at 1-1...we pretty much went ape-shite on them after that and could score at will. Hopefully we will take the Italy match a bit more seriously.
  13. If anyone is a "pretty boy" it's Federer. I find him to be uber-annoying...always have.
  14. Shirt "tugging" for positioning is just part of the game. Grabbing the guy's shirt and literally pulling him half way to the ground to where he's completely taken out of the play is some bowlsheeat. I don't hold grudges.
  15. I have a lot of respect for "aggressive", but when that turns into "dirty" I just think it takes away from the game. The play i'm talking about happened on a corner in the first part of the 2nd half. DeRossi got a fist hold of Terry's jersey and literally yanked him nearly all the way to the ground. Terry threw a fit afterward, but the refs didn't see it/call it. I actually have to give the refs a lot of credit...they clearly missed this call, but for the most part they let them play. I didn't really notice a lot of diving either, which is a big reason why I enjoyed the match as much as I did.
  16. Oh come on, you can still love your team and recognize that this guy is a diving, cheating douchebag! lol Did you see the shirt pull on Terry?? Every match of Italy I see this guy is trying to become a write-in candidate for the Oscars. There's no need to rely on that sort of crap when you're as talented as they are...you don't see Pirlo pulling that nonsense!
  17. Wow, England sux lol Congrats, Meazza...get ready for Thursday!!
  18. I'm glad DeRossi got subbed out...that bullcrap he pulled with Terry on the set piece was enough already...this guy just has no respect for the game at all. I can't believe that this game is nil-nil! Some amazing opportunities, but either the ball wasn't put on net or there was a fantastic defensive play involved. I wish more games were like this though, cause one of the things about watching a team like Spain that can be absolutely maddening is all those hundreds and hundreds of passes in and around the middle part of the pitch. This game is the total opposite, and the second half was similar to the first in that most of the action has taken place on either end. I love that! Man, if Rooney hits that bicycle kick at the end he goes from nearly non-existent to Euro-Hero! What a great finish that would have been...Buffon was sharting himself for sure. The one thing I'm taking away from this match is that I'm not nearly as afraid of Italy's defense anymore. I may end up being completely off base here, but if Italy plays the Germans this way they'll get crushed. If England can get this many good looks, Germany will get even more, and they will finish. On the other hand, the Italians seem more unpredictable to me than ever, mostly on offense, and that will keep the Germans honest. I think Italy will be the more interesting match-up, so I think I want the Azzurri to pull it out today. England just can't finish to save their lives...they aren't in the same league as Germany at all. I agree about Carroll...he seems to have more presence than the other guy England had up front. Also have to like his size for set pieces. BTW, Pirlo is just great to watch...fantastic player.
  19. Wow, what a first half! Nothing at all like I expected. There has been almost zero engagement at all in the middle third of the field, with most of the game being played at either end. A couple of really interesting chances for both teams, and except for the last five mins of the half, I was very impressed with the chances that England was creating for themselves. Once again, Rooney just fails to really impress me at all in a big game. He had one or two nice balls, but I still just don't see him as a player who can take his team on his back and lead them to a win. He's done it at the club level often, but I still don't think I've seen him do it with his national team. I'm sorry, but Daniel De Rossi is a disgrace. Clearly a very talented player, but the diving and dramatics seem to just never stop with this idiot. As for Balotelli, this guy is completely bipolar. One minute he's ripping a near-perfect ball from the perimeter of the box, and then the next minute he's completely lost every bit of concentration when he's at point blank range. What a weird, yet interesting player. This is probably the third match I've seen this tourney where it was a very good example of how a 0-0 match at halftime was absolutely NOT indicative of how entertaining things have been. Can't wait for the second half!!
  20. I know, right? Completely asinine. I personally never worry about tax crap and anyone else who does is nothing but an arrogant jerk.
  21. I can't believe that nobody has brought these points up before. Well done, Scott CHANdler.
  22. Pandora's great...I think for the casual music fan it's a great program.
  23. Yep, I saw that one a few years ago...really enjoyed it, as I do most of Duvall's films...one of my favorite actors
