Great report, man! And don't worry about checking to see if others have already posted their camp reports...I'm sure a lot of others feel as I do - the more first hand accounts we have to enjoy, the better

lol, I think about that quite a bit...I think what I've learned is that if I start off watching a show week to week, then I'm just used to that pace and everything is cool. I look forward to the show each week, often times even forgetting it's on until I see the DVR recording...but when I start off watching a show on dvd/streaming/etc in order to get caught up, and THEN transition to week-to-week, it's frickin agony! If you have netflix, it's probably still available on streaming. That's assuming youre interested, of course...but why wouldn't you be? It's a great ride!

Mauricio was the most talented performer ever to appear on America's Got Talent (on NBC)...he went unappreciated by many, but not by me.

I'd be surprised too...I just recall that as being one of the schools they were talking about on one of the sports talk radio stations down here when all the conference re-aligning and super-conference talk was heating up. I think from the ACC it was Miami, FSU, Clemson, and GA Tech that they said were likely the contenders, with Clemson being the favorite. As long as they don't mess with the big dawgs already in the conference, I wouldn't really have any preference as to who else joined. I agree about Murray...I've been singing this kids praises since early last season, and I think he's going to end up being the best QB in the SEC and one of the top 5 in the country by the end of this coming season. It'll hurt not having AJ Green around, but he's already found some chemistry with a couple of the wideouts on the team currently. But this kid has a really nice skill set...if some of these younger players play well, particular someone like Isiah Crowell (RB), GA will contend for the SEC champ.

I watched a movie last night called "Insidious", which deals with the ghost/spirits/demons topic...I found it to be pretty entertaining and fun

WHAT??? lol Come on, Joe...I absolutely fell in love with the passion and loyalty of the Philly fans when I lived there. They love their teams even when they suck, and I think it's a huge insult to compare them to the pompous, arrogant Boston fans. Philly is a large market, but they have always had to deal with an inferiority complex (relative to NYC and Boston), so in that sense I find them very endearing

Great stuff, Mike! I wonder if all the strength work that Fitzy put in during the offseason will result in him needing to re-calibrate his arm, so to speak. Seems like Mike was reporting a lot of overthrows, especially on deep balls, so maybe he needs to adjust for the increase in strength and/or arm speed. Love hearing about A.Williams at the CB spot. Like a lot of you guys, I loved this draft and I have a feeling we found some players on D who will really help us. I was firmly in the camp that wanted the defense improved dramatically, and when you really look at what they did you can see that, while they're very young, the potential is there. Of course, we've been dealing with "potential" for ten years, but I just have a feeling we're making progress with this regime. We have a nice mix of vets and young kids on that side of the ball.

There was serious talk about the SEC expanding, and Florida St was one of the schools I heard mentioned in the conversation. I would love to see them come play with the big boys.

I love the city of Philadelphia, and the Iggles are my favorite NFC team...they will be a fun team to watch, for sure. If our Bills can't win the SB right now, I'm hoping the Eagles do.

I have a lot of respect for Alabama fans and the history of the program, but I frickin hate that team with a passion lol. I'm glad you guys play in the SEC, though...I like that we have the best of the best in this conference.

Couldn't agree more. The BCS is a bad word, IMO. The BCS ruins it for the underdog. If we had the BCS in the NFL, the Packers would never have had the chance to earn their championship where and when it matters most - on the FIELD, when it's ALL on the line. Teams often gel and become stronger over the course of the season. The best team by week 10 may not be the same team that was best on week 1. Teams deserve the chance to grow together and become stronger, and EARN their way into a playoff spot. I don't care who just had the best regular season, I care who can show up when it's all on the line when the pressure is on and knock the other guys on their asses.

Reading all your guys' responses has me jonesing for kickoff more than before lol...gonna be a great season!

Disclaimer: Chan Gailey has forgotten more about the game of pro football than I'll ever know. That being said, keeping Moats at ILB is asinine. A solid pass rush comes at a premium in this league, and when you find someone who is adept at it, you don't mess with it. Moats is not Lawrence Taylor, but he's effective... And hell, I keep forgetting Kelsay is even on the team. The starting group on day one should be Merriman - Davis - Sheppard - Moats. The backups at ILB should be White and Torbor.

Congrats on the close! I miss my house...I bought a beautiful suburban home, 3br, 2.5 bath, ranch style with a nice high ceiling in the living room. I had to sell it after my divorce, but I have many fond memories of it and my DirecTv. I was just about to get DTV in my apartment, but they can't quite get the angle on the satellite from my deck So I'll continue to live vicariously through you guys who have it...lol You need to adopt one of my traditions and buy yourself a nice big tv for the new place!
