So I think last night was the final audition show...right? If so, there were two or three people from last night who seem to have some talent that could be harnessed. Overall I counted about 6 people who I thought were at least "good" and who I want to see more of during hollywood week. Hoping there are some other very talented people they just haven't showcased yet. I just noticed a LOT of people this year who had a pleasant tone to their voice, but couldn't carry a tune. Not to say they can't learn to get better, but I just don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. If they can find at least four people to watch during the live shows, it'll probably keep my interest. Last year's group was actually pretty strong, and I remained interested right to the point where they said Scotty won...then I turned that shiznit off! haha

Not really about you, just ur cowf****ng behavior

lol, totally agree...Stanley rules! I think the only character I've never really gotten into was Packer, Michael Scott's wingman. I've seen that actor in a few films and at times found him mildly amusing, but his role on the office just never connected with me. This thread has me thinking about a lot of the great moments from the show's past...I know a lot of people feel it jumped the shark a few yeares ago, but I enjoyed it pretty consistenly right up until the end of last season.

Thanks guys

LOL, I was hoping you were still up

I honestly don't mean this as a joke...I have no idea how this keeps happening. For those of you who wear glasses, have you ever blown your nose and somehow, beyond explanation, ended up with a booger on either lens? This has happened like four times to me in the past few months and I cannot figure out wtf. Somehow the booger is traveling at a high rate of speed outward and downward, following the direction that my nostrils are aiming, but at some point it does a vertical U-ee, evades the kleenex altogether, and goes *splat* on my glasses like a bug on a windshield. I've always had sinus issues but this is taking things to a whole other level. Oswald and the "magic bullet" theory are starting to make perfect sense. Does this ever happen to you guys? Be honest. (I'm totally serious)

The girl who plays Angela is NOTHING like that in real life, and that is very impressive. I saw her on Letterman a while ago and it was so weird...I kept expecting her to turn all smug and go high-brow on Dave, but she was just as outgoing and kind as possible. What a contrast! Same with Kevin, actually. He's very articulate in real life...he does a great job getting into character...but you're right, they're all really solid!

Im in the camp of wanting to re-sign Stevie, but all I really got out of that article was that Stevie is about Stevie, Stevie accomplished what he wanted with his antics, and now Stevie has to say the right things cause Stevie wants a new contract. He's not putting an end to the celebrations because they cost the team, he's putting an end to them cause he achieved his goal lol: "As far as the extra antics, with over-celebrating I feel like I did that to try to get on in the league and make a name for myself and let people know about Stevie Johnson. I feel like I have the attention now so now it’s time to take the next step." In the next sentence he starts off with the next Stevie goal, and then a team goal...but not necessarily the Bills? "That’s trying to be a Pro Bowl receiver and trying to get a team to the playoffs." Apparently Dan thinks he's you?

Finally finished working so I can listen to this...been wanting to since I saw you post it earlier today. So this is what dubstep is then? I've heard that term a few times but never really knew what it was. I think I'm starting to really become a fan of this club/electronica/house type music...I'm gonna listen to the rest of the Pretty Lights album tonight and then hunt for more cool stuff Thanks for posting this...I want to listen to it again when I have my headphones handy! Speaking of Rochester (I have an Avicii track on as I'm typing this...very cool!), one of my favorite things to do when I lived there (I grew up there...1985-95) was hop in my little '79 Mazda RX-7 and go flying around I-490 on a warm summer night, radio crankin', moon roof open, windows down. It doesn't take all that long to do a lap, and some of the parts of the beltway are pretty fun to drive. It's probably different now, but back in '88 when I first got my license, it was a blast. Listening to some of this music we're talking about reminds me of doing that again. This is awesome driving music. I'm not sure my Mazda Protege would be quite as fun in terms of the experience, but can't win 'em all.

Whoa, I've been a fan of the show all these years and had no idea...that is very impressive. I think one thing I've loved most about this show is the way each character is just such a, well, character! Everyone is so distinct in terms of their personalities and quirks, and the way they have always written the interactions has always made for great laughs. I was watching a clip last night back when they all thought Kevin was mentally challenged...I almost peed myself a few times with those story lines.

lol, I can understand that. I think I found her most funny when she was caught up in her various love interests on the show...Her neuroses provided some funny moments at times, I though.

hijack away, brother...the best music threads are the ones that have lots of other performers discussed as well, IMO I agree...I was watching this video of this new raft thing that rights itself as it goes down some of the more treacherous rivers, and I realized that I was loving this music. Thankfully they listed the artist, so I looked him/them up on Amazon and saw that people seemed to really enjoy it. I was having a lot of fun listening to the samples there, and then I decided to order the album that Still Night was on. Haven't listened to it all the way through yet, but really geting into it so far.

Some guy on another forum had this music playing for one of his white water rafting videos on youtube...I don't know what kind of music you call this...some sort of fusion? But I like it! PS: Listening to this with headphones rocks!

I didn't know she was doing some of the writing...that makes me like her even more

yep, that is exactly him. If it's not the kayak it's the mountain bike, if not that then he's out skiing or fishing, etc, etc...it's the perfect place for him and I can definitely understand the appeal -
Probably someone who is related to James Actually it was the battery supplier. Apple is still perfect

Wow, that's interesting. I actually find her one of the more marketable stars on the show, so I wouldn't be surprised if this show found an audience. NBC may regret letting her look around for a willing partner at Fox...should be interesting. What you said earlier is actually a great idea, IMO. A series of short-run spinoffs, each one pertaining to a different character. I like it!

I have a friend who lives in Mt Sunapee and he loves it. Not sure if that's anywhere near you, but given the size of that state I figure it can't be TOO damn far -
I'm afraid to ask what form of media you use for music lol

When I lived there in the late 90s, the 76ers were arguably the FIFTH team. The AHL Phantoms were out-drawing them and were more popular. I remember like it was yesterday walking into the Core States Center (that's what it used to be called anyway) seeing the cardboard life-sized cutouts of the players where the kids where hanging out and smelling the garlic butter pretzels as soon as they took my ticket...ahhhhh, good times I haven't seen a game this year yet but I have the Sixers app on my phone and I read an article about the team-first atmosphere that Collins has established. It said something about how the Sixers have more players averaging double digit scoring than any other team in the league. Also watched a few highlights of Jrue Holliday...that kid is a baller! The last year I was there we had just drafted Jerry Stackhouse, and then the following year is when Iverson came to town (either 96 or 97) and they were saying it would be the best backcourt the Sixers had ever had. Didn't work out that way, of course, but I loved the move to bring in Larry Brown and obviously there was a ton of excitement around the team the year they made the NBA finals. That was so great to see them in the playoffs.

What I always loved about Creed was that he always got/gets the absolute most value from his face time. Whoever wrote his character came up with some of the wittiest and most interesting dialogue of the show, IMO. The only way this could be accomplished on a regular basis in a spin-off would be to find a writer who could capture the essence of the character and has the supreme ability to extract further greatness from him. There is maybe only one writer in the world who could pull that off, and I hear TGreg is currently unavailable. Even the amazingly sexy Drea De'Mateo, who I had a huge thing for from her time on the Sopranos, couldn't get me back to watch a second episode of that piece of dookie. (As to whether I watched the first episode, I plead the fifth!)

Nice, I can't wait!

lol I can't remember the last time I watched a regular season NBA game...probably back when Jordan was with the Bulls. Currently I usually start watching when the playoffs start, but have no interest in the regular sesaon.
